today,  new miner has published.

9999 $ =  (scrypt) 120  M hash/s

i think we must change the scrypt algorithm, and create a new algorithm to save altcoins.

[
    Digisheild VS MultiPool

]

Now,

DigiScrypt VS xxx

We are definitely looking into this and we are thoroughly researching other algorithms. It is highly unlikely this company will deliver by the date they mention, but none the less Scrypt ASICs are around the corner.

Scrypt ASIC's are not going to provide anywhere near the boost Bitcoin ASICS did but they are still going to lead to a centralization in Scrypt hashing as most people cannot afford to purchase $10,000 miners every few months.

Our goal is to keep DigiByte mineable by the average miner. We are looking at other algorithms and potentially may modify one and create our own unique approach.

Good luck digiteam Smiley

2204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the Most UnderValued Coin And Why, Please Explain I have 2 btc to invest! on: March 22, 2014, 08:41:32 AM
Honestly, LTC seems like a good bet these days. Last year it was the biggest gainer, $100 investment would have become $30000+ between Jan and Dec. It seems to be getting picked up as some sort of MasterCard to Bitcoin's visa with retailers.  People are making ASICs for it, we saw what that did for BTC's price. I don't know for sure but it seems to be getting some what popular. I mean it might not mean huge money for you, not like if you have two BTC of DOGE and it hit $1.00 but LTC is probably a better bet long term. Honestly I would take one of those BTC, break it up and invest a little in a bunch of long shot currencies. You will lose on most of them, maybe all of them but you have a better chance at coming out ahead than if you plop it all on one square. I would keep the other BTC for a while more, why not right? It looks like Wall Street might be moving in, one BTC could become worth a bundle.
I think i'd go for that LTC too.

2216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt.Gox "finds 200K BTC in old wallets" on: March 21, 2014, 04:07:52 PM
850 000 bc lost
Now 200 000 bc found again

So every costumer gets about 1/4th of his bitcoins back?

Would be really nice if that gonna be happen, but who knows which part of stolen btc they ''found''.
Good luck for all people who lost Bitcoin in gox.
I think that they found "their" one.

2218  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: March 21, 2014, 04:05:29 PM
why not atleast Full Member - 0.00015BTC - 0.0002BTC for Full members?
If you don't like these rates, just go advertise for RGC for a few days.

It's more than a few days and it's not worth the risk to most people. Even 0.0001 per post is better than potentially 0.
So you are assuming there is more than an 83.33333% chance that RGC will not pay out? If they don't pay out, who will gamble there? But to each his own.
Well i'd rather stay with already trusted paid signature offerer... So yeah hilariousandco is right.

Should you have twitter and thread link in your sig?
Thank you for noticing me it dissapeared itself :O going to look into it.
