2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining future looks grim on: April 03, 2014, 09:04:07 AM
Minings rigs are worth nothing at all if you are mining bitcoin, maybe you should look into altcoins.
2003  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Enjoy Today] Your pain and fear can end now. on: April 03, 2014, 09:02:21 AM
Fact #1a: Long-term most traders/speculators lose money (~80 to 90% lose) ~source = Reality/Common Knowledge/Google it
Fact #1b: These are bad odds, but it leaves HUGE piles of cash for the Winners.

Fact #2: When BTC was near/over $1,000 each, most "Speculation" threads were (short/medium-term) Bullish and all of those were wrong.
Fact #3: BTC is down over 60%, most of the "Speculation" threads are currently Bearish.

Fact #4: The 10 to 20% of traders who win long-term don't get there by always following the crowd; You need to think for yourself.

Your pain and fear can end now:
Think for yourself/Take a long walk/Get some exercise
  • Enjoy today before it turns into tomorrow.

FYI: Why are you reading this?
Didn't I mention these are notes to myself?  Cheesy

For once I have a lot of $$ sitting ready to strike instead of watching the bubble crash & bubble crash for the previous 2 cycles

Even if we hit 300 ( i honestly believe that 405 is a support that cant be broke ) taking a position at 420 is still a an awesome deal for a mid-long term (bitcoin mid to long term is still only 2-3 months lolz normal equities you are looking at 2-5 years ..yawn)

So i sit and wait with a pile of $$ waiting for the bottom ... it was so much simplier previously (in the old days )  .. we would crash like a meth head on a 6 day binge after taking 2 valium (i.e in about 20-30 mins ) and buy in was good ...$60 buy in from a $266 high its a no brainer

Here the chinese are fucking with us ...china ban..no china ban ... fuck the chinese and the horse the rode in on

IRS taxation is the first step to an AMERICA ADOPTING an american invention why are we even relying on the fucking chinese for gods sake

BITCOIN in the definition of capitalist market forces ... and why has the mother of capitalism spewed forth so much hate for its PURE bread born child

Chinese gone ...good .. take your dim sims and special fried chicken and go fuck yourselfs with your totalitarian regimens ...

One thing i do know is that where ever the chinese are is where teh smart money is so ...BTC please send me a sign that you are done with the chinese experiment and lets get this party started Cheesy

Can't you see it's just not for him? Cheesy
2004  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I left BTC on: April 03, 2014, 08:57:53 AM

Why did you post your speculation thread in the Bitcoin Discussion forum OP?

It seems like it's in correct board now.

2007  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: give me coins on: April 03, 2014, 08:45:32 AM
Just looking opinions please. Is it possible for a pool to mine over 38 days, submit over 1.3 billion shares, go offline twice during this and still not find a single block?   Seems to be a few disgruntled miners over at give me coins pool disputing this, some think there may be a scam going on......just asking before considering joining that pool.

thanks
It doesn't look like real you would have to be REALLY unlucky.

2010  Economy / Speculation / Re: China BANNED BITCOIN! This time for real! on: April 03, 2014, 07:57:16 AM
After reading few msgs from exchanges this is complete bullshit stop panicking...none of the chinese exchanges got message about bitcoin beign banned anythime soon.
WAKE UP!

Many said OP is a fool. I won't argue in his favor but the media he quoted ("Caixin") is a reliable one. Today 2 exchanges announced that they indeed are informed of the ban, and they are among the 5 biggest in China: OKcoin and FxBTC.

It takes some courage to insist on truth when everyone shout "Stop the FUD" at you face.
Any source please?
2011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is your RIG still running? Profitable? on: April 02, 2014, 08:45:34 PM
Hunt for new altcoins or check altcoin calendars and if the coin is worth it hold and then sell slowly.

Problem is that we need a ton more alt to spread the new 250mh/s miners around, or all coin developers should focus on Scrypt-N only and let Scrypt difficulty, on all altcoins, just skyrocket like Bitcoin did.

When ASICs appeared on Bitcoins everyone moved onto making Scrypt clones of litecoin.

When ASICs appeared for Scrypt we need everyone to move on to Scrypt-N and that doesn't seem to be happening.

X11 is much more GPU friendly. Check out Hirocoin and Darkcoin. Soon Einsteinium will also change to hash with X11. Less heat and noise !

2014  Economy / Securities / Re: We got hacked on Cryptostocks :( on: April 02, 2014, 07:27:01 PM
Hackers are trying to get bitcoins from anywhere!!!
But I don't see the point of getting only 0.05 BTC. What else did they stole?

They transferred all our shares into their own account. About 48500 of them, but I think we will get them back.

They also dumped about 40 shares on to low price orders.
I don't get why they haven't dumped atleast half of it only small ammount...well maybe they thought nobody will catch them.

2017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Metiscoin] [MTS] | NO PREMINE| LAUNCHED! NEW POOL! on: April 02, 2014, 07:02:49 PM
Lol, GPU miner has been released. My 2 metiscoins mined in a week with my CPU aren't worth a damn at 3k sat.

MTS is currently underpriced, the coin is so low volume that a single BTC whale can pump/dump the coin.

If we could raise 5 BTC for a real price adjustment we could buy up all the under-priced coins, and creating huge buy walls. Perhaps we should organize something like that. This coin used to be worth .00025 back when the volume was up, and we could get it back on Poloniex.

Metiscoin would even be put up above the majority of alts on coinmarketcap if we could do something like that.

I like your idea. Problem is, I only have about .28 BTC worth of MTS (which costed me around .5).
Yep, Metiscoin is unrealistically under-priced. There's probably a few other alt-currency investors that benefit from creating this artificially low price. Though that's just a theory.

Metis need to be listed on a larger exchange..
This won't help...it's dying.

This coin has a great developer but it really needs more promotion.

I see the same problem with many great coins and it is making me sad :/
Yeah it would be great if we could make some kind of team for promotion.
