In full disclosure, I was one of those people. If I'm playing on the site and getting rewarded for it, why would I make a conscious effort not to capitalize on that? It's like going to the grocery store and them giving a coupon that says you can use it up to 5x and saying "eh, I know you're offering the chance, but I'll just pay full price for 4 of them instead."

If you regularly play on the site, then you're not one of those people.

LOL, you don't understand what OP said, getting daily surprise box ON TIME doesn't mean ABUSE, if someone can get more than 1 box within 24 hours, that's abuse, I hope OP will explain that to you.

LOL(?)I don't think there was anyone getting more than one surprise box per 24 hours.  I think there are just many players who have been logging in every day (ON TIME) simply to claim the bonus box.

I'm talking about players that signed up 6 or more months ago, who have claimed their surprise box nearly every day (nearly 200 times), but are still Bronze 2 or 3.  Why would betcoin want to continue giving money away to these people.  They are a casino, not a faucet.

Imagine a grocery store had a coupon for a free item once a day.

After a couple months they realize theyre giving away on average 1000 items a day but only averaging 50 customers a day.

From the businesses point of view, there are over 900 people abusing their promotion.  Changing the promotion so that it would be harder to abuse makes perfect sense.

The surprise is what's in the box -- not the box itself.

The Surprise Box is a random prize that randomly appears at different times. It updates randomly between once per day or once every two to three days max.

Well, yeah. As of 24 hours ago. That's not what it was, and you can't arbitrarily change the meanings anytime you want. Now it's more like a Random Surprise Box.

Before it was more like a predictable box with radom stuff in it that was easily abused.

Now it's more like a surprise box.

6544  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Marcchernandez scammed me for $500.00 on: August 14, 2015, 06:46:01 PM
If anyone is interested , Marc Hernandez and Wife/Sister Tugjab (I dunno) asking for loans over on betcoin forums.

I've already called them out as scammers many times, anyone else want to have a turn?

Jamardyn and TugaJ are their account names.

Here's one from an hour ago.

All of the daily step satellites to the daily coin are basically double or nothings.

They also had a bracelet event at wsop this year that paid half the field.

Kinda lame imo, but seems popular.

I certainly didn't get any "bonuses" as a result of any of this, though that wasn't the intention to begin with.

They don't give bonuses for making ludicrous accusations in a public forum?

Weird...

You realize that not only have I referred well over 100 users to Betcoin over the past 13 months (and even have posts as recent as a few days ago persuading players to join the site), but I've also reviewed them highly positively on both my site and a couple of others, right? The last thing I wanted to do was take this public.

You made thread "Beware Of Betcoin.ag [Stealing Funds - Proof Inside] "

over 1 chip

You expect people to believe its the last thing you wanted to do.  That betcoin committed theft of your chip. Then you call others delusional.

I can understand why betcoin thinks they have a bbjp, and bbjp funds that the players should be given a shot to win.

But the truth is, there is no bbjp and there never was.  A progressive jackpot that has no way to be won is simply another fee or edge for the house.

Due to some programming issue, they have been over raking .01 mbtc extra out of every raked pot.

There are probably 20 or so players whos over charged funds make up a majority of that jackpot fund.  (I'm not suggesting I'm one of them)

On one hand, it's really not a big deal - betcoin rake is ridiculously small, and the overake is also ridiculously small. Also this giant freeroll was worth less than $5 in equity per player, you can find equal value on a daily basis elsewhere.

On the other hand, when you accidentally charge someone more than what was previously agreed, the only thing to do is return their money.

I feel the same as the anti collusion 10btc freeroll.

"Hey guys look we have all this money that should be yours, but due to someone cheating or a bug in our software, now we have it.  You don't mind if we just use it to promote our business instead of giving it back to you, right?"
