501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO projects with very good rating on: October 22, 2019, 01:24:16 AM
When i search i found ICO projects with very good rating, this rating posted buy ICO rating websites, how this rating works, websites did not mention about the factors use to rate this projects.

in my opinion it's better to do your own research seriously. 3 things that must be investigated before participating in the ICO project are the manager, the development team and the whitepaper. you should do your own research don't rely on rating sites because they are paid by developers to rate good projects with a rating of 5. but actually it's not a good project that's fraud.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is never going to be extinct on: October 21, 2019, 02:08:35 PM
I appreciate your optimism about bitcoin. but we also need to think long and open. no one knows for sure how the condition of the world in the future. Likewise with bitcoin maybe in the future there are more recent discoveries that can replace the position of bitcoin. I'm optimistic that bitcoin will continue to exist for the next 10 years to 50 years. but for extinction I think maybe.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Must Know Before Investing in IEO on: October 21, 2019, 12:36:14 PM
of course we must always do the research seriously before investing. and in investing in crypto projects, of course those 3 things we will always see and examine are exchanges, development teams and whitepapers. and the advantage of this IEO is that it will be difficult for scammers to deceive participants because they will only buy tokens from the exchange. and I'm sure the exchange will also do research on the project before they work together. so I think it will be safer.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ETHEREUM KEEPS DISAPPOINTING on: October 21, 2019, 09:47:28 AM
in my opinion not only ethereum almost all altcoin has decreased. maybe this decline in altcoin occurs because the bitcoin market dominates the cryptocurrency market. and I think the fall of ethereum is also due to the large number of ICO scams. in the past when many successful ICO projects were pumping ETH prices because most ICOs used the ETH platform. and now ICO is no longer trusted and makes eth values go down. but I'm still optimistic about ethereum. maybe 2020 will be a good year for cryptocurrency hopefully.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Cryptocurrencies Predicted to Dominate the Market in 2020 on: October 21, 2019, 08:10:12 AM
everyone has a different favorite coin and prediction. I suggest doing your own research and believing the coins we have chosen. I am optimistic for 2020 on bitcoin, ethereum, ripple and EOS coins. I don't diversify too many coins too much. I only believe in coins that have potential. high hopes for bitcoin. because in 2020 there is bitcoin having day.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: October 21, 2019, 06:42:41 AM
the percentage of ownership of Bitcoin in my portfolio is 70% then Ripple 20% and the rest is altcoin that I get from joining a bounty campaign project. I always exchange bounty project tokens into bitcoin. bitcoin is my mainstay coin. because I'm always optimistic that in the future bitcoin prices will get more expensive. because the amount is limited but the number of requests always increases.
507  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: October 21, 2019, 05:21:37 AM
Social media and other addictive Internet sites - people are constantly glued to them, even on their work, which decreases their productivity. Social media also cause depression in many people, because they not only procrastinate, but also constantly compare their life to others, which leads to dissatisfaction. Also social media are good at spreading lies and fakes, which can have negative effects on the economy - anti-vax panic, anti-GMO, political manipulation and so on.

I agree with you that social media and the internet currently take up a lot of people's time. addicted to social media can reduce work productivity. makes people lazy to work. and the internet is the largest source of pronunciation. pronogafi can damage the brain of children and adolescents. if the next generation is damaged, the future of this country will be threatened. and also social media is often used to spread hoaxes and means of fraud. of course this will have an impact on the country's economy.
508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: October 21, 2019, 03:48:52 AM
I think it's true that you say, investing is more profitable than just saving. only usually investments are determined by time, while savings are not bound by time. for someone who has a lot of wealth, I think investing is the best choice to do. but over time, the types of savings in my country have varied, now there are investment-based savings. so in my opinion savings and investment both have their respective advantages.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are to be blame on: October 20, 2019, 11:39:13 AM
in my opinion the biggest problem in cryptocurrency now is scammers. they always have ways to commit fraud and we cannot avoid this because there are no institutions that can punish these scammers. and this is one of the risks we must face when entering the crypto market. but lately there is good news about IEO hopefully this will be a good solution. IEO provides a sense of security for investors.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your crypto before death? on: October 20, 2019, 07:09:45 AM
I have prepared this. I have taught my partner how to open a wallet and exchange. and I also told you where I keep the key. but I want to not only leave crypto heritage. I also want to leave a business that later when I die they can continue my business. therefore I always set aside profits from crypto to open a business. so that later my family will inherit two things, cryptocurrency and business.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wait, who owns the market? on: October 20, 2019, 05:00:26 AM
Nobody owns bitcoin or the market. However the market is easily manipulated in bitcoin, due to lack of regulations.

Whales, exchanges.... they are manipulating. Donīt you remember Bcash drama in 2017, when bitcoin price was heavily manipulated?

I agree with you that no party can own the crypto market. cryptocurrency is decentralized and independent. it's just that the cryptocurrency market can be manipulated by large traders and whales. and also bad news about cryptocurrency can affect society. and this has an impact on demand and supply. and the crypto market is strongly influenced by demand and supply.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: October 20, 2019, 03:49:04 AM
cryptocurrency can be a solution if a country experiences an economic crisis that causes the value of fiat currencies to fall. Fiat currencies fall because of hyperinflation. This inflation is caused by too much fiat money being printed. this is the reason cryptocurrency is better than fiat currencies. Fiat currencies always experience inflation while cryptocurency does not. because decentralized cryptocurrency will not cause inflation because there is no regulatory authority. cryptocurrency works according to market conditions. and the crypto market is influenced by supply and demand.
513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are finally going to $22k on: October 20, 2019, 02:26:50 AM
Are we excited to see that? It probably yes, but the market seems to be in the hard ways to soar high at this time. We are still not leaving at $10k and $22k is very far enough to reach, it somehow to think it within 1-2years or it is just a dream.
How it was optimistic but the market reality seems not looking that great. If Bitcoin price may pump but not actually it will go far, and $15k is much achievable.

I agree with your opinion,
maybe many people expect that will happen soon, at least 1 or 2 years to come. but I myself still don't believe in people who say that. until now the price is still below 9k, and still spinning just under 10k. I think the price will definitely go back up, but to reach 22k I'm still not sure. I speculate that prices will continue to rise within the next year or two, but not more than 20k.
514  Economy / Economics / Re: First Bitcoin ATM in Venezuela on: October 19, 2019, 01:22:19 PM
This is good news for Venezuela. Venezuela, including countries that have legalized bitcoin as a means of payment. they use bitcoin as an alternative after the Bolivar currency falls due to hyperinflation. so now most of the population has used bitcoin for payment. with the increasing number of countries that have bitcoin ATMs it will support bitcoin for mass adoption. every year the number of bitcoin ATMs is always increasing this is good news for cryptocurrency.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what solutions do make to cover Loss on: October 19, 2019, 12:15:32 PM
Personally , I lost nearly 1500$  from day trading. I do buy back theory now to recover the loss and invest on potential ico's. now i am going on a slowly steady way ,  if we get greedy then  we end up with nothing.

whats your solutions do you do for cover the loss?

the first solution is we must not despair and rise again. a loss in crypto investment is common. the important thing is we can take lessons from that loss. and I agree with you about greed. greed will keep us from getting anything. it is better to get a little profit but continuously than keep waiting hoping the coin will rise higher and it turns out the coin is not as expected. we can cover losses by choosing coins that have a smaller risk of loss. You can start by choosing the top 5 coins in CMC.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism? on: October 19, 2019, 08:59:57 AM
yes this is the negative side of cryptocurrency that is commonly used for illegal transactions. the anonymous nature of crypto is very easily used as a tool to commit crime. this is why most countries in the world reject cryptocurrency. but in fiat money also often fraud like this. we cannot avoid this. I think the government should not only see the weakness of bitcoin. bitcoin also has advantages. with bitcoin money transactions will become easier, faster and cheaper. and bitcoin can be used as an investment tool. and bitcoin with its blockchain technology has provided a new breakthrough in technology.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen in order for bitcoin to replace gold on: October 19, 2019, 07:33:18 AM
I never thought bitcoin would replace gold. because both have different characteristics and functions, although the same in terms of investment. bitcoin is used for alternative payment tools and investment tools. but gold is used for jewelery and also industrial electronics. and the value of gold tends to be stable while the value of bitcoin is very volatile. and gold has existed since ancient times gold has advantages that can not be replaced by bitcoin.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin more worth than other cryptocurrencies that have better specs? on: October 19, 2019, 06:06:57 AM
because bitcoin is the main currency in cryptocurrency. and bitcoin has a high fluctuation compared to altcoin. the number of restricted bitcoins is only 21 million making bitcoin valuable. and this cryptocurrency can be famous for the increase in bitcoin in 2017. And investing in bitcoin is safer than altcoin, because now many altcoins cannot last long on the crypto market. so it's no wonder bitcoin is the most valuable coin in cryptocurrency.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: October 19, 2019, 04:07:24 AM
I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.

yes you're right not all ICOs that fail are ICO scams, there are several ICOs that fail because they don't get enough investors and funds. and not all ICOs are scams that I myself still believe that there are honest ICOs. The last ICO I participated in was the WPP Token project. I think this project is quite successful because it can achieve softcap and hardcap. but unfortunately the price of tokens continues to decline.
520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should move to BTC? on: October 19, 2019, 02:51:30 AM
if I would choose both of them I would divide my ripple in half. as much as 1500 xrp I will sell and replace it with bitcoin. and the rest of the xrp coins I will hold. why I do this because currently the value of bitcoin is down. This is a great opportunity to buy. and I'm optimistic that the price of bitcoin will rise again. many predict the price of bitcoin will rise on halving day in 2020. if we buy bitcoin now we will regret it. and for XRP I will hold it too because XRP has a good platform I predict in the future XRP will develop rapidly which will make XRP prices go up.
