Do you guys think the price of ETH Will rise significantly once the investors from BTC / BTC Gold sell off? What about the other alt coins? Which one do you think will rise the most as a function of the BTC Gold users selling out of BTC?

One thing nobody has mentioned- which was interesting to me (to say the least) the BTC price jumped up over $200 in less than 30 minutes... must be a large player making trades?

Any theories on what caused the sudden spike in price? Do you think the price will hold over the next few weeks? Any speculations for the future? Big day for BTC, I remember reading threads in 2015 about how "one day BTC will be over 5k USD"... today's that day

Hi Guys, I am considering starting up a medium scale mining operation (looking to invest 100k). I do not have the technical expertise and time to set-up everything myself and would ideally contract a company or individual to do so. The only reason why i am considering this is because I have access to free electricity (don't ask, and its ultimately unlimited until we reach 500k machines, at that point id assume wed pay 1c per kWh). This would be a USA northeast operation my question to you guys... does this sound like a reasonable venture? We have some of the advantages some of the large miners have: -subsidized electricity -high net worth investors -scalability We are looking to start with ETH and BTC, then look towards some of the smaller coins Also, what would be the ideal setup for a rig like this?
