If we have Qora on more than one address, should we make a separate transaction for each address or first move them all to one address and then make only a single transaction to the genesis address?
My suggestion here would be to combine them into a single address, then burn from that one. That way it is easier to keep track of on the QORT chain. Also, the larger amount you burn from one address, the larger chunk of the % of each block you obtain. Overall it won't matter if you do it either or way... you will still end up with the end result being the same. However, if you do it from one address, you will get a bigger 'weight' of the reward % dedicated to those who burned QORA in every block on QORT chain. Hopefully this helps. -[ANNOUNCEMENT]- The time is drawing near, BURN your QORA to get access to the QORT blockchain transition.That's right everyone, we are now within 30 days of the official launch of the QORT (qortal) blockchain!
In order for the transition to the new chain to be as seamless as possible, and in order for it to be totally decentralized, everyone who plans to move over to the new chain, must BURN their QORA. We will take everyone who burns into consideration on the new chain, by implementing them into the genesis block of the new chain.
The genesis block will contain the details of every account that burns coins, and the amount of coins they burned.
On the new chain, those records will be used to distribute the QORA asset on the QORT chain.
The QORA asset will then entitle the accounts to a 250:1 exchange of QORA:QORT (I.E. if you burn 1000 QORA, you will be given a max of 4 QORT, distrubuted every block, with 25% of the block rewards of QORT.)
Regardless of being a minter or not, the people who burn QORA, will obtain a piece of every block's reward.
The launch of QORT is currently scheduled for December 1, 2019
We wanted people to have at least 3-4 weeks to be made aware of the fact that the burn is necessary, find the information on one of the QORA information locations, get their wallet set up, and make the burn transaction. good question... I also would like to understand thx Anyone care to answer this? I really would like to know this before I send my coin. they are at several addresses in the wallet... are all theese addresses all covered by the seed or do I need for each address something like a priv key? thx a lot |

Hi,
Very interesting project. I have a few questions though;
1. What exactly will we get when ordering a pre-sale router in terms of hardware, since you seem to be making different routers with different specifications?
2. You say shipping is extra, does that mean we have to first pay for the router and later pay again for shipping? How much do you expect the shipping price to be approximately?
3. You say the hardware is open source and we can build it ourself, however I could not find any blueprints anywhere. Are these already publicly available and if so where do I find them?

I finally got the wallet working. Here is what I did and it may help others. Download the universal wallet zip. Unzip it and edit the peers.json file to include these peers only "knownpeers": [ "192.111.150.242", "216.126.198.26", "71.94.87.188", "192.99.181.233", "193.242.148.251", "106.187.42.214", "88.132.141.82", "61.186.94.149", "106.186.122.39", "188.166.16.64", "23.92.218.205", "128.199.45.81", "192.111.150.248", "192.111.150.249", "103.85.224.195", "118.184.54.215", "71.94.87.188", "150.129.80.71", "118.99.57.76" ], Once that's done you can either search google for a qora log4j.properties file or get it here ---> https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Qoracoin/Qora/master/Qora/log4j.propertiesSave the log4j.properties file in your directory with all the other files. The wallet should then sync. Worked for me so maybe it will help some others. worked for me too. thx |
