i just saw that there is minting account that has a level, can you explain it how that minting account works? and how long will the presale ended?

Correct, the minters on the network are associated with a 'level' that denotes their 'status' in the platform.

In order to become a minter, you must first 'prove yourself' by way of 'delegation' to an existing level 5 or higher minter, and/or a founder account.

By way of this delegation, and blocks going by with your account sync'd and live... you earn the right to become a minter on the network.

As a set number of blocks goes by with your account in this state, you then get the title of 'level 1 minting account'.

As a level 1 minting account you are entitled to 5% of every block reward, split evenly between all level 1-2 minting accounts.

As time goes on, and blocks go by, as you stay a full node, sync'd, and minting... your level increases.

As that level increases, so does your portion of the block reward obtained, as well as your level of influence in the votes placed within the system.

So not only do you earn more, your 'voice' counts more.


Minting accounts are the first account type in the system when it goes live, as we will first focus on making the network as vast and strong as possible. The minter account type is the first to be enabled with the leveling system as well. Therefore will be first account type to be able to cast votes within the system.

As time goes on, more account types that are capable of leveling themselves, will be implemented. Such as 'liquidity providers' that I have described above.

'data nodes' and 'data supernodes' will be future account types with levels assigned to them as well as special properties and rewards they obtain.

at level 5, you can then 'accept delegates' to both create new minters, and also form 'funds' and 'committees'.


'committees' will be used for things like 'verification of content' on the chain that should be able to be public, ensuring that we don't get assholes trying to fill the network with garbage or things that we would not like to see. You may join a committee once you reach level 5, but you may also be voted out of the committee if it is determined by the community that you are not performing your job correctly, so you must maintain upstanding position and function as well.

a lot of this is still in concept phases, and the final word in the code isn't there yet, so it is subject to change, at first we will launch the network, and minting accounts, and get things moving, get the QORA people  transitioning into QORT, and get the network strong and vast with as many full nodes as possible.

Chain trimming is also implemented so that the chain size shouldn't cause anyone to be forced out of being a full node, and thus leaving the network very strong with a multitude of full nodes. Essentially we would like any user to be utilizing their own full node as opposed to relying upon another. We believe that is a big issue in BTC, and many other coins are heading the same direction. Not having easily setup and rewarded full nodes, is a big issue we believe our 'minting system' will help to solve.

There is a coin on the custom blockchain this device is built to run. The announcement is here because it is tied to the 100% custom blockchain/coin that it is meant to be a node for.

Our hardware dev gave me an update today, the new router kernel now out performs a 24 core XEON in Java performance.

1. You will get the first device that is fully complete, which is 'Gen 1' device. The others are only in planning phase and we haven't actually built prototypes yet.

2. Shipping will be on top of the device price, based on where you are and which of our locations we will decide to ship from. We will do our best to make it as low as possible, but we can also offer options for quicker shipping if you would like.

3. The device is built from an orange pi prime. All of the services we installed in our custom image ARE open source. So you could definitely build one if you like. The QORT blockchain is also open source, and when it is released you can set it up as well. Right now though, the blockchain is in testnet phase and hasn't been released.

All of the services we listed are easily found, and setup if you know how to do it. We are putting it all together in a simple pre-setup package, fully functional. To save people the hassle of doing it, and also giving them a version with a custom case, etc. Also, our engineers have made a completely optimized version of the software, operating system, etc. and built it into our own image.

So yes, everything is open source, but we will not be giving out our specific tweaks that will make our device much faster and more stable, as those are what will give the device we build some sort of 'edge' over those built by anyone else. Personally, even though I could build one myself, I would take the one built by our hardware guy any time over one I customized myself, as he's a master. I think other people will feel the same once they get a device in their hands.

We are all doing this for the good of the project, no one has yet received much of anything for what has been done so far. However, once the platform is fully launched, there will be founder accounts given to those who have gone above and beyond. We believe wholeheartedly that those accounts will provide us adequate reward for our work.

We have made a few further modifications to it as well, the next version will have a larger logo, and be rid of the GPIO header hole that we will not be making use of for our specific device.

I am looking into adding LED lighting to it as well.
