Traders like the volatile price so that they can make more money. Investors like to stable rising price.
Stable price is the major factor for a good currency. When the price of bitcoin becomes stable like Euro, it will be a good currency. I just wish the bitcoin price rises or drops no more than 5% every months, that is as good as major currencies. i think bitcoin is not going to go down any time in the future because a lot of people will be interested even though the price is really stable now |

If you are expecting $800 price from halving then it will not happen, as we are below $650 now and I don't think it will jump $150 in next few hours.
$800 will not happen in the next few weeks. But in 3 to 5 months, the price could be $800 or higher. $800 is a good target. The last recent high was around $790. It would take several month to hit that. well yeah, that is really great in my opinion if the price is going to grow to 800 dollars, in this way it would be really cool to make a lot of money, the price is definitely not going down If the bitcoin price rises to $800 in the next three months, that is already a very good achievement. i think that there is big potential for the bitcoin price to grow that much and i hope that we will see much bigger prices soon for example a new all time high as it would make me profit I think the bitcoin price will just rises between 40 to 200% every year for the next 20 years. It will be slower later. that would be really great in my opinion but the price is unpredictable and anything might happen, i hope the price is going to go only up |

last few days there has been a modest increase. I believe bitcoin will rise high prices the next few weeks. the upward trend will continue.
Exactly price is at descent level at a moment and we may expect higher price in next couple of weeks and I think we will cross $700 mark very soon. The bitcoin price could cross $700 in two to three months. It has risen a lot in the last 3 months, so need a rest. The reward halving had changed the inflation rate in Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin will surge or maintain its stability for few weeks, expect that the price reach $700 soon. The $700 is within the current trading range of $600 to $700. Next months, it will be the centre of new trading range. How is that? My thought about this is that we will see the price in the 600-650 region for at least a few weeks (till the holiday is over). Then the whales will need to make a new course. I think price will remain stable for next few months and we may see price rise as we get closer to the end of the year, the only thing we want is that it should not fall down. I agree with that. The price might rise suddenly after several months of consolidation, like three months ago. and i think thats the thing what is going to happen with bitcoins pretty soon, in my opinion we will make a lot of money out of the upcoming growth of price |

I think recently bitcoin prices down, possibly because there are some problems that occur, one panic to sell their bitcoin, but I also feel bitcoin prices will rise again this week, as I'm sure having not going to stop soon

I don't thing that bitcoin will reach 2016$ exactly hehehe ;Do think it we be 1000-2000$ until 2017 year but no more bbecause of really slow % grogrowing ,it must grow faster to go bigger than 2000$.

Currently the price is not far away from reaching to $700, just in a month the price will once a gain start to rise and only with the first pump you will see the price of bitcoin at a value of $700.

When your reason for this to happen is your desire for it to happen... It ain't gona happen.  Maybe the title of the thread should be changed to $10,000 within a decade. That is much more realistic. sure it is not going to happen in a month time, changing the thread title to $10k within a decade is good enough. That will definitely happen within a decade if the bitcoin recover from death every time. It could even happen within 3 to 5 years. of course bitcoin always recover because in my opinion it is impossible to make bitcoin go extinct because it is a really wonderful cryptocurrency that everyone will use |

I assume that the price increase before the halving was in anticipation of the halving. Since everyone know when it would happen, we didn't see the bump at the halving, but gradually for a couple of months before.

i think that i would buy a lot of bitcoins if their price would fall to 500$ for example, as price should rise pretty soon so i would earn money i would also buy a lot of bitcoins to be honest, in my opinion the price of bitcoin will really soon grow a lot to a new all time high, i hope i will make big money |

How will it happen?
Will it just suddenly one day drop to $0? Or will be a slow painful bear market finishing near $0 but never quite reaching at? Some believers will never sell no matter what price ??

i don't really thing that bitcoin's price could drop that much to 0, if it would drop it would probably stop at 50$ or so because everyone would buy bitcoins then of course the price cannot drop to 0, there will always be people who will use it and because of that the price is not going to fall or it is going to even grow soon |

As long as people support bitcoin, but and sell it, trade for altcoins and vice versa. Many businesses operate on bitcoin and I don't think that they will bankrupt so easy. On 2020 is the next halving so I believe that until that time the price of bitcoin will be much more than now. of course people will keep on buying and selling their bitcoins, in my opinion because of that the price of it is going to grow a lot in the near future and survive for centuries |

I know right  You never realized that before There is one topic which pretends the price to be 1 million. So not bad as we are in speculating debate, but maybe possible. Generally it's impossible for now to think and we should focused to $400 We are now at plus $600.Almost double since this post.All I can say is nothing is impossible it may take some time but bitcoin can reach four figures anytime sooner in future bitcoin will achieve 4 digit in future but no one knows what exactly value it will hold in future and $200k seems to be impossible to achieve as of now. Bitcoin will never reach a value of $200K so it's not even worth talking about it. Especially because of the fact that we are even far away from the $1000 level. i think that the price of the bitcoin is going to reach such a price pretty soon, in my opinion 200 thousand dollars per bitcoin will be just a beginning |

If bitcoin network reaches a increased user profile around 25% from the current number of users bitcoin has the possibility to give a stable price by 2020.

I hold BTC. I did not think halving would bring any massive BTC rises.
So, where's all the $1200 BTC halving prophets??? Alts were meant to crash and burn once the halving occurred. Why do people think the anticipated rise did not happen? BTC is now rarer but not worth more. Is the market getting ready for a slingshot (or not)?
Wait for it, bitcoin will not go up to 1200$ in an instant. It will take months to achieve that price. Better to hold your btc . yes, im holding all my bitcoins right now, i hope that i will make money out of it pretty soon, though as a long term investment it will surely give me profit |
