For me personally bitcoin is actually the best investment at the moment, even with small amounts I can earn a reasonable profit in the future for sure. But there's also some downsides - you got to wait.
Saving it can be very unpredictable, it's not very profitable if you lose everything in an instant after a few years if the bitcoin value basically disappears, which is unfortunate to say the least.

I joined up over here in 2012-13. At the time it seemed like a way to make a quick buck. Overtime as i read about it more and more, i became interested in the freedom it provides. As time has went on however, my interest and belief in bitcoin have waned. I won't get into the details of why, but i'm wondering what your honest opinion of bitcoin is, with a simple vote, and possibly an explanation.
yes of course. i still believe in bitcoin. because just before I withdraw money through BTC. , i believe in bitcoin too to be honest and i think that its price will soon start increasing really fast and ofcourse I do so. I think in present time every one will believe on bitcoin. no one may be there who know about bitcoin ansd do not believe on it. because the present situation and the position of the bitcoin showe that it will promote and maintain its position in future. I actually think that Bitcoin has a long way to go and I also don't really want it disappear, it's the future, hopefully. Got to spread awareness about it in order for it to survive. Though I see more and more people withdraw from bitcoin because they are very negative about it, they don't see that the value is actually rising. Got to wait and see what happens. |

The consequences of having this bitcoin halving could bring potential change to the currency for sure. I think the positive changes are the fact that the price will skyrocket, so it's great for traders.
Though the negative change is that it will affect a lot of the miners, most of them actually. It's really questionable whether we will lose them or not, hopefully not I hope.

As far as the strategy goes, I buy on really small amounts every month for myself regardless of the price. I choose not to go on that heavy on it, since I don't have the capital yet to buy 'big'.
I'd probably go buy a big amount once the price drops down, It's probably the best choice to just stay still and buy/resell at little amount and grind up from there, but once the price drops, I'll buy a lot for sure.

Bitcoin will be so bright in 4 years later i think every people will meet and use bitcoin once of their life in 4 years and we will use bitcoin our every part of life for to pay someting and i belive Bitcoin will change our world system in short time .
i doubt that actually all the people will be using bitcoins because it is a new currency and it might grow or fall really fast so people will not like the fluctuations and wont use it i think that bitcoin will be way much bigger that year and i think that more companies will accept bitcoin as a payment method what will allow me to shop with bitcoins every day |

I've bought when prices were at these levels, see today the price has increased to nearly $ 100. I think this will continue till able to touch $ 1000 Yeah, yesterday was good time to buy as lately its started to rise again, so I don't think today is the right time to buy as price is comparatively higher. Today is also a very good tme to buy some coins as the price now is not much higher, it will continue to rise more especially in the time of halving which will be in the next month. i think you are right because i know that the price of the bitcoin is definitely going to grow a lot pretty soon and i hope that my all predictions will be correct as it would give me money i think you should buy right now because the price is going to grow pretty soon, that would surely allow me to make you some profit, i hope that we will soon be elite with bitcoins |

IF the market price has been decaying over time - its a sign of people just saying they accept back at $400-500 as the real sense of price.

I would still prefer to buy at a moment as price is comparatively good to purchase some coins and will sell onl when I see the price of $800, not before that. im buying my bitcoins right now to be honest because i know that the price of the bitcoin is definitely going to grow a lot pretty soon, that would surely make bitcoin more popular i think that its a really great time to buy all your bitcoins because after some months it will be a good time to sell all your bitcoin in order to make some good profit from the bitcoins youll buy |

Helll no, we are going back to 500 soon. The buy pressure is way too strong. It's safe to say now that OP was extremely wrong in this prediction. We are heading towards a new ATH, that will happen this year, I don't see how we even have to wait for 2016 anymore. This year is looking fantastic to break that 1k barrier again.
I think the price will not go below $300. The price will have big chance to go to $500 than to $400. the price will surely not go so low right now in my opinion because people are really interested in bitcoins right now and they thing that the price will grow so they are buying i think that the price of the bitcoin might grow to a new all time high later this year thus it would allow all investors to make a lot of money soon, that would definitely make bitcoin even more popular |

If I can start making $1000 a week then Id consider it, but until then I cant consider it because I have too many bills to pay.
though to be honest it is really hard to earn that much in bitcoins especially if you dont have a full time job with bitcoins because theres no good ways to earn a lot of money with bitcoins i would definitely not quit my full time job in my opinion because there are too many price fluctuations that wouldnt allow me to earn any secured money because the price might fall too i think |

I buy bitcoins because its profitable and also very nice to have them,its easy and also very nice to make profit with it and you also pay with it.
its not always profitable to buy bitcoins to be honest and nearly anything might happen to the price of the bitcoin in my opinion thus you might want to do your trading carefully i buy bitcoins because it is as a long term investment for me, i think that the price of the bitcoin is going to grow a lot in the future thus allowing me to make a lot of decent profit |

This seems unlikely. the price was too high and looks it makes no sense. I estimate that the price of 1000USD is most likely to be achieved after halving bitcoin.
Yes the price $4000 seems more ideal but not realistic ! In my opinion it can only happen after like 1 decade, and 1000$ is pretty normal for estimation  as seeing the price graph of bitcoin these days. Bitcoin will achieve that price in future but cannot expect to reach there in next 20 days, as it has not even reached to $1k so, expecting $4k is something unrealistic. i think that any price might become real thing if people buy enough of the bitcoins, in this way the price of it might grow to even a new all time high i think if people will buy i think that bitcoin might reach 4 thousand dollars per bitcoin after the halving event, in my opinion by the end of this year we might reach a new all time high that would allow us to make money |

I never think that the world is just going to have one only currency, there are so many currencies on the world and I do not think that some countries would agree with having just one currency in the world.
yeah i agree with you, as we know the journey and the dollar has become a favorite currency of various countries, but until now could not replace the dollar all the existing currency. As with bitcoin, bitcoin will not be the only currency in the world, although it can beat the value of the dollar. thank you Bitcoin can beat dollar only if bitcoin got a stability in its price and approved by governments otherwise it will be harder to predict that whether people will accept bitcoin as a world currency or not. i doubt that bitcoin price has to be stable in order for the bitcoin to replace dollar pretty soon because more and more people are going to use bitcoin every day i think i think that our new world currency is going to be bitcoin and i think that it will replace all the money that we have right now, i hope my predictions are correct because the price would grow a lot then |

I think its around 40/60% of the world population will know how to use bitcoin in 2020. It is 4 years from now, So for me that is my prediction
I think 40/60 % is a bit optimistic if you are talking about whole population of the world and I think 20% is fine. i really doubtt that, i think that the price of the bitcoin might grow a lot in the near future and a lot more people then would be interested in bitcoins so a lot of people will use it i think that around 80 per cent of the people will use bitcoins regularly by year 2020 as bitcoin is going to be way much more popular then and i hope that more companies will accept it |

You can start with faucets or signature campaing, you can gambling or trading and you also can buy your bitcoin and wait when price will rise to get your percents.
in my opinion bitcoin faucets will definitely not allow to make a lot of money as they are used to just make some money out of people watching all the advertisements when they visit the website i think that the best way of making money with bitcoins is the signature campaigns that allow to make some small money, i think that you can also make some good money out of trading cryptos |

Its better to buy bitcoins not gold. Gold price is increasing slowly but bitcoin increases so fast, its possible to get a large profit in bitcoins so i am recommending bitcoins
You are right about that due to the fact that the bitcoin is profitable on both terms its good, I do not have the patience to hold the gold as a example. theres no need to hold gold in my opinion because the price of the bitcoin is fluctuating much more than the ordinary gold as a lot of people buy and sell from time to time i always hold some bitcoins to be honest because i know that the price of the bitcoin is going to grow a lot in the near future, i hope that my predictions will be correct and i will make money |

The best thing you can do at a moment is to invest in bitcoin, as price seems to be low now, so buy as much as you can and sell when price is high at the time of halving. yeah i think investing into bitcoin would allow a lot of people to earn a lot of money in a very short period of time because the price is definitely going to grow really soon its better to invest into bitcoin and then save all the bitcoins in order to benefit the most because the price is surely going to grow, i hope that one day it will make us all rich people |

I do not think that the price will reach $4000 this year. the halving will not have the same effect as the previous one. so your math does not have to make your speculates accurate. reducing the supply by the halving won't affect the price except if the demand rises.
yeah no mathematical formula that can predict when halving the price of bitcoin? because it depends on the demand bitcoin that time? and every person probably would not know how much demand bitcoin now or then? so they will not likely correct accurately predicted bitcoin prices will rise to $ 4,000 thats true, no one will ever predict the bitcoin price in my opinion because it is controlled by all the people, only big whales might have some big impact and control the price a little bit i doubt that such high numbers will be reached so fast because of the halving event, the halving will surely push the price up but i think we just might touch the new all time high and thats it |

My least favorite thing about bitcoin is that it cannot be spent at physical places, we can only use it online for buying online stuffs, so that is not a good sign.
bitcoin now there atm and it can directly be money physically. hopefully bitcoin increasingly known to many people in the world. bitcoin is already known by a lot of people in the world and as long as it is getting even more and more popular it is going to grow a lot in my opinion thus more companies will accept it i think that the least favorite thing for me is just the fact that the price fluctuates that wildly because of that i sometimes lose money and i dont like seeing low numbers in my bitcoin wallet |

It was my little dream to own 21 BTC and today i achieved it after hard work of so long time.Now i want to make my hard work pay me.I mean,i want that these bitcoins work for me someway and grow.Is there bitcoin bank that pays interest? What will you do with 21 BTC? How will you spend it? How will you grow it? Share anything you want that may help me to decide what should i do. Congrats on reaching your goal my friend. I'd recommend holding onto them, and not getting into any risky investements, and try to abstain picking up a habit for day trading. i doubt that holding is the best thing to do with it in my opinion its a great way to earn in a long run but it would be better to do some trading and to earn more money with it i would do some cryptocurrency trading in order to earn a lot of money out of the trades, its a bit risky but i usually dont like just holding all of my bitcoins and not doing anything with it |

I don't think it would be practical right now to get paid my salary in bitcoin. It would be too hard to convert to pay expenses. Hopefully that will change in the future.
well it might be not practical but if you wouldnt spend all your wage then it would be a good investment option in my opinion because the price could go up soon and make you a lot of money i would like to get my salary in bitcoins because i like using bitcoins a lot and i know that the price is going to go up so it would be a great chance for me to earn a lot of money |
