721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 14, 2023, 02:13:00 PM
I also won't deny that currently Man City is the best and most consistent club in the Premier League. There is no need to doubt the stability of the players, but does that mean Man City will not lose in a total of 38 matches? Of course not, because there are times when performance decreases, and losing once or twice is normal. Don't assume that strong teams cannot be beaten, because the games of Premier League clubs are always surprising and can come from teams that are considered weak.

We just need to enjoy it, deciding who will win the trophy doesn't have to be drawn from now on. The process of starting the Premier League competition has just begun.
They are the best club, they are hard to beat and have great stability in the depth of the squad, many people praise Man City's play.
Obviously no matter how good the team is, there will be times when they lose 38 matches but it won't be much, the probability of losing ratio will be small, I think the defeat of Man City can be counted including the draw.

Deciding who will get the trophy? Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal as a whole are competing great, there are also other surprises in the Premier League that are common.
722  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is not going to $12k. on: September 13, 2023, 05:28:29 PM
$12,000 would be awful, I do not foresee a dump that deep. It would take something tragic like WW3 starting or a Great Depression for that to come to fruition. However, if there was an event that created a market sell off that severe, you should all buy as much as you can afford to because $12,000 would be a gift which would be short lived.
If the event had started with normal FUD it wouldn't have affected the price significantly to fall to $12,000 but the third world war would have never happened, maybe there would have been something even more tragic, that's what the mind never thought of.
Of course, this is like a gift that you have to do immediately to buy as much bitcoin as possible at a price of $12,000. If you keep delaying it, Bitcoin will quickly fly back up to its normal price.
But none of that will happen. Trust me. Cheesy
723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 13, 2023, 05:13:55 PM
You probably mean Group B. Because Arsenal are not in Group F. Group F teams are PSG, Dortmund, Newcastle and AC Milan. And Group F is the toughest group in this year's Champions League. Every team has a chance to qualify for the knockout rounds.

If we talk about Group B, there is no way to say that other teams in this group are weak except Arsenal and PSV. Sevilla and Lens are strong enough teams. However, the recent performance of these two teams is very bad. This is why PSV and Arsenal are expected to top the table. And these two teams will qualify for the next round. Sevilla and Lens are strong enough. If they can sort out the problems within the squad, it will not be easy for PSV to qualify for the next round.
Yes, he was referring there because he was talking about Arsenal and PSV who are in Group B.

There is nothing wrong with the Arsenal team and PSV they look consistently still at some top level and their play is promising enough for a win of course between the two sides.

Last year Lens were in second place in their domestic league, but now they are falling even further considering the last few matches and have never won, let alone Sevilla who have never won at the moment, it's just surprising that they were able to win the Europa League so there is a ticket to advance to Champions League.

These two teams are difficult to predict, in my mind they will probably be eliminated.
724  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another reason and proof to keep funds in your wallet not in an exchange on: September 13, 2023, 04:16:23 PM
Exchanges for storing assets, will not be safe at any time. The risk of the exchange being hacked or going bankrupt is what makes it complicated to ask for your funds there.

If you want to use the exchange, use it for the short term or for your trading activities that are looking for profit there, if you have done that then withdraw it back to your wallet with your own custody.

If you are still unsure about hot wallets, then use hardware wallets to be much safer. My suggestion is Trezor.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The implications of FTX's multi-billion crypto sell-off... on: September 13, 2023, 03:38:50 PM
It seems to me that this is just a new scarecrow to manipulate the price in the market. This has already happened with other major exchanges that were hacked or went bankrupt. Now there will be new news that FTX may sell a large amount. But it seems to me that it will not happen, and if it does, it will probably be sold in parts and not on regular exchanges. It's just hype.
Will many people panic with this news? On X.com there are a lot of tweets that sound like they are scaring FTX who will sell assets every week for hundreds of millions of dollars and that will happen today? Then what happens is that the market seems to be so calm it doesn't turn red, is it possible that this is only a small portion of the assets of all current market capital?
Regarding market price manipulation, my thoughts are a little bit in that direction, this can be exploited by whales who will buy at the bottom and those who panic due to this news will be a little angry and may have started selling.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Reddit coins? on: September 12, 2023, 05:54:49 PM
With social media such as Reddit and Twitter gradually introducing their userbase to crypto the next hype trend could be SocialFi coins, do you suggest investing on those coins or too risky?
Will the big social media platforms launch their coins? I don't think so, they already have their uses with badges on their respective social media, I'm not sure Reddit will do something like this either.

If something comes along from them obviously it will be hype, but I'm not sure it will happen.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 12, 2023, 05:32:18 PM
the group F: PSG Dortmund Milan Newcastle,  in this one we dont ahve a clear favorite but seems like PSG its a step ahead and Newcaslte also.
Between PSG, Dortmund, Milan, and Newcastle, I am quite optimistic that PSG and Milan will qualify. Without doubting Dortmund or Newcastle, it's just to see the difference in their respective strengths also in terms of the squad where PSG might have the task of fixing the midfield, Inter needs a sharp forward, Dortmund without Bellingham needs to implement a new format and Newcastle will clearly still be groping in the midst of the dark experience of playing at UCL after a long time.
The two teams you mentioned have made a lot of favorites in group F. But obviously for me it's going to be tough and who knows Dortmund might be more interesting than Newcastle?

Milan currently have no faults in Serie A, they can get stronger in the Champions League matches of course they will face with full consistency even I think Milan will be above PSG.

Newcastle seem to be a dark horse, their hesitation is when in the erratic Premier League, so the umpteenth time many people compare will still have the ability like in the previous season that's what I think.
728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 12, 2023, 04:53:38 PM
Mbape wasn't a free agent during the transfer period, he still has a year contract with PSG, by 2024 summer he will be available as free agent and that is what PSG was avoiding, they don't want to live him as free without making money from him and Real Madrid wasn't ready to splash money on him either and Mbape was left without option than to continue his journey in PSG. What is left untold is how he was able to convince PSG to take him back among the squad, initially when all this started, he was deleted from the squad but he was later reinstated but no details of what really happened and we can tell his future with Real Madrid.

I'm not sure why everyone are bothered about Mbape future with Real Madrid, I understand that he needs Real Madrid to engulfed Champions League but if he eventually become a free agent, the only club that is hot right now to win the Champions League is Manchester City, they have more stamina to win the league than any other club and that's the perfect place that will fit him.
That is very heavy for Real Madrid with the price PSG spent is quite crazy in addition to this team wanting to keep Mbappe, at that time Real Madrid had no other choice but to buy several other players who had been targeted and Mbappe at that time would be put aside.

I think at the moment the PSG manager is trying to convince Mbappe to stay and sign his new contract, this will be more drama I think, if the summer happens it is likely that Real Madrid will offer Mbappe again but obviously it will be at a high market price.

At the moment Mbappe will be an important player he will be spoiled for his signature contract.
729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: September 11, 2023, 06:17:48 PM
That's part of how the casinos run their business. Gamblers have the idea that they can come back another day and it's like a reset, when in reality it's the same as continuing playing the same day.

The amount of money paid is what matter in the end, and some gamblers will be happy when they win $10 one day, and spend it on beers celebrating, while they lose $100 another time, and get some beers anyway to drown their sorrows.
Such an addictive mindset next time will win, but they do not realize that the game will be the same and the loss will be greater but this is what they do not realize.

Exactly that kind of thinking. However, when I win a bet in football, I feel very happy but do not realize that I have experienced a losing streak and can even say this is a bad day.
Actually there are too many defenses about it, wherever it will win or lose my defense is for fun, no money is really expected here in terms of income.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Coinbase launch a native coin/token for Base? on: September 11, 2023, 05:49:32 PM
...Maybe the reason for this is because they're afraid that the SEC might accuse them of launching an "unregistered security"? It would be nice to have an airdrop where early adopters of the platform get rewarded for testing it.

Yes, it would be logical to distribute new coin among early users and thus avoid a lot of charges from the SEC. But Coinbase has repeatedly repeated that there will be no new token, or do you think that she specifically talked about it so as not to attract excessive attention from Sybil.
They are currently saying no... but it could happen in the future by releasing their own tokens if on the other hand they will be afraid of the SEC being a threat, whatever it is if they make it through it could happen? I guess no one ever knows.

Airdrop chasers overestimated the initial testing and they must have a different outlook like Arbitrum which was not going to have tokens but surprisingly they released tokens a while ago and early adopters got a piece of the action, that's what they expected of course sybil users must be a lot.

731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 11, 2023, 04:48:38 PM
I think Real Madrid is more likely to sign Mbappe than any other striker and there are rumors that Real Madrid and Mbappe have had discussions regarding his move after his contract with PSG ended. PSG even assumes that Mbappe has privately agreed to join Real Madrid next season after Mbappe rejected the contract extension offered by PSG.

However, it is still possible that the transfer will not become a reality because PSG will definitely not just give up and they will continue to try to persuade Mbappe.
After the transfer rumors a few weeks ago about Mbappe now they can only last one more season although some say it is not extended or there are other options from PSG this is still a mystery sometimes it will be more difficult to transfer Mbappe because PSG always tackles him.

When in the middle of the half season or summer anything can happen, I also heard a statement between Mbappe and Real Madrid had reached this verbal agreement from PSG sources but now they will only take advantage of the time Mbappe has left.

It would be great if Mbappe went to Real Madrid.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 11, 2023, 04:12:21 PM
Sevilla performance are worrying even though they didn't lose any of their last five matches against Las Palmas whether it was friendlies or back then in La Liga.
Ramos arrival might help fixing some defensive issues and maybe he could help scoring few goals with header but they definitely to fix the attack line so they can advance properly in La Liga!
They should be able to win at home against Las Palmas even though their performance is currently slumping due to consecutive defeats, betting markets and bookies have favored Sevilla with current odds of @1.63 this is clearly a big difference from Las Palmas odds.

Sergior Ramos? Well he's back after 18 years at another club now back at the first club of his career, he could be in the first team squad but I still doubt him because he's old and his stamina must have declined, his return might be a motivation for the other players.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects. on: September 09, 2023, 03:55:01 PM
I answered your title: To not invest is risky.

Why do you have so much faith in them saying it has some utility? So is that what makes you tempted? I think you need to be careful and just choose a safe coin why should it be in a new project and many people say this is a danger sign for you to invest.

The $bubble token is currently available on 20+ different exchanges.

This is a lie, it's not even listed in cmc or coingecko
They list this because it is deceiving its investors with the lure of having the Binance Logo on the left. Lol

They will do anything for money.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google New Policy: NFT Ads is allowed starting Sept. 15 on: September 08, 2023, 04:27:44 PM
Very disappointed to see that Google has planned to allow NFT ads to their platform. I am sure they will stop it in couple of months when they will see the scams rising and people are laundering money using NFTs.

NFTs should be eradicated from the crypto market as it is dead already. It is probably the quickest death of trend I have ever seen in crypto market. Just useless and doesn't add any value.
I don't know how Google took this step whether they saw an increase in its traffic or there is another reason behind accepting NFT ads in the middle of this month? Obviously we all know that NFTs are now dead there is no longer much interest as long as Google accepts these ads there is fraud will increase day by day.

Some people still hold NFTs maybe because they bought high now there is no value.
Should avoid this trend is dead last year and there is no more profit in NFT except some unclear projects still adopt NFT.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 08, 2023, 03:55:06 PM
He has made a decision (to stay at Man United) which means he is ready for the other pressures he will most likely face. Maguire certainly knows very well that there is no guarantee that he will be the first choice because Ten Hag clearly stated that he had to fight for that position. So I admit that Maguire has a very strong mentality.
After being close to West Ham in the end he wanted to be at Man United even though it wasn't a priority anymore, maybe he realized what happened to him so Ten Hag gave him an ultimatum about the main squad not being him anymore, but as long as he was at Man United I think it didn't change at all.

If we look at his performance and his contribution so far, it would be quite tough for him to compete for a spot in the first team. I think the only chance for him is when Varane, Martinez and Luke Shaw are all injured because there is no alternative other than himself and Jonny Evans who I don't think is better than Maguire.
As long as he contributes and continues to make blunders then others will consider it a bad thing including Ten Hag who has judged him, so as long as Maguire is at Man United it will be considered a burden by his fans.
Maguire will only play in a few minutes of time maybe when Man United is sure to win he will enter the field.
736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is your DCA solution? on: September 08, 2023, 03:09:25 PM
I calculated with the dcabtc.com= calculator that at $20/week you will earn $5,220 over the accumulated 5 years that is the average cost in dollars.

If you increase the investment longer such as 9 years then it will be even greater can calculate it here dcabtc.com.

If you are comfortable with the DCA method, it is not a problem to place the exchange for a while to save on withdrawal fees but don't get too comfortable with the exchange, how about after you have earned one month from DCA immediately withdraw to your personal wallet instead of continuing to delay which will eventually become a risk later.

737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KYC matter? on: September 08, 2023, 01:27:50 PM
You will not be able to withdraw the balance there or any other features. There are some exchanges that before depositing the balance must complete KYC verification but some are not but at the end when withdrawing KYC it is very mandatory to verify.

I think there are still No-KYC exchanges and from some exchanges you can use. No-KYC Exchange Encyclopedia
738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding Crypto wallet and traditional wallets for beginners on: September 07, 2023, 02:53:07 PM
This context talks about bitcoin and other cryptos so what is the difference from wallets to physical wallets? Referring to bitcoin so obviously there is no difference in calling a wallet because almost everyone says the same even though you think this is more of a traditional wallet called physical but for me this is no different.

Unless you're talking about fiat then maybe it makes sense, but now there are many fiat digital wallets that are almost the same as the other wallets we're talking about.
739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Lega Serie A 🇮🇹 (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2023/2024⚽ on: September 07, 2023, 01:45:01 PM
lillo what do you think about making a list of matches every Monday so we can talk about bets.
Surely this week, if I'm not mistaken, there will be the Inter - Milan derby, it will certainly be the most interesting match of the moment, the others are probably noisy.

What do u think about my idea?
The Derby that both sides are waiting for is mutually beneficial with only the home/away match affecting the betting.
Inter Milan are far favorites with odds @2.22 and Milan @3.20 but the safest in my opinion is both teams scoring at odds @1.72.

But there are Euro qualifiers at the moment there may be some that can affect players, that's what I'm considering but I'm looking after the Euro qualifiers are over.

So far in the Derby match, Inter will be the favorite.

All Ansu needs now is to just keep his head focused on maintaining a good fitness schedule and at the right moment am sure he would get to show us why he is likened to the next Messi with the kind of potential he has displayed already.

You shouldn't be surprised if Xavi asks for Ansu back, once he can begin to feature more in Brighton matches and find his confidence. After all, what's the point of a loan deal, if the player on loan don't return to the original club who did the loaning.
Equated with the next Messi? on what basis? Ansu Fati is always injured and still can't be made Messi successor? You should know how Messi struggles at Barcelona, who has always been a core player whose presence is very vital, but Barcelona without Ansu Fati is all right, even Ansu Fati's services are not put to good use. The reason for equating Ansu Fati with Messi is considered ridiculous, even though it came from Xavi's mouth, in the end Ansu Fati found it difficult to maintain his playing minutes at Barcelona and had to wait in long queues.
Not on what basis but the statistics are far different, Ansu fati will not be equal to Messi, maybe only other opinions say so but if he is loaned to another club it means that his performance is bad at Barcelona.
It will be difficult to find another player who is as brilliant as Messi at a young age until now even more top award winners including all his goals, so I think Ansu fati is only in the class of other players, even if he returns to Barcelona and there is no change he will probably be sold.
