If i talk about myself , ya today bitcoin is really worthy as career as now i am earning bitcoins more then what i am earning in my day job, and even bitcoin has given me lot of options and career way of developing myself and now i am giving lot of skill work learned by this forum.

I think the price dip was due to the negative coverage about the UK hospital and other services getting hacked into.
Then mentioning Bitcoin was the payment method for the ransoms so could be some malware sellers converting fiat this is speculation so it's fun to speculate.
It always happens when ever their is some selling in the bitcoin like this rumors start to roam so that bitcoin users get panic and sell it , very soon you will see back the recovery and next ATH price in bitcoin |

Fundamentally you are completely misinterupting what is bitcoin and how much amount of it feasible to everyone. In 2010, one common man may buy 1000 bitcoins for $10, but now that amount will only 0.005 bitcoins so in near future that same $10 may buy only 10 satoshi alone (yes 0.0000001 bitcoins) as many experts are predicting bitcoin may reach values in million. But I do see that bitcoin is always in favor of common people. Because anyone can buy something of it with what ever money he will be having. The infinitely divisible feature supports this. Ya it i true that still also a common man can buy but only matters is the quantity of bitcoin you will get low but if you think of future then todays value you will feel low on future value time. Like what now you are feeling high but in past when you bought you thought that value was high but now you are feeling that past value was low. So when ever you are buying is the correct time and dont see the value of today but think of future value what can be. |

I've send a payment as goods and services, he blocked me, and then I opened a dispute like 30 minutes later!
He was sending messages that PayPal doesn't cover digital goods.
I've called PayPal and said it was a physical good.
They said they will ask him questions.
Is he going to successfully scam me or PayPal will protect me?
I don't have screenshots, logs of conversations, nothing!
Will PayPal still protects me?
What ever transaction made in paypal through bitcoin do not cover any protection to users , so it means that you wont get goods and the payment sent is gone for ever. Be careful when using paypal as their are lot of ways to scam anyone in paypal. |

There is a lot of risk in bitcoin investment because you cannot tell what will be the price tomorrow and the market is cannot be predict unless you are a rich person so you can dictate the that you want but if you don't have any large amount of money then you will have a high risk in doing investment in bitcoin.
that's makes sense that in bitcoin world there is no guarantee the price will always increasing day by day and also there is no steady movement in bitcoin but the risk is worth just like the profit too but only for those who had buy and sell at the right time As quoted there is nothing assured with bitcoin as it's a system that doesn't have a central authority. So if something goes wrong it's gone forever, you cannot go and claim that you lost so and so. Though it's not sure it always increase gradually, but till now I haven't seen people who lost big by this fluctuations. Trading is done with patience will never give you loss, if you are stuck in high buying then you have to wait for some time as sure your price will come. And in any trading their is always risk |

We are close now to $2,000 and I believe that we are going to reach that point before the end of the year. But I doubt that it is going to happen for this year. Well see, because the movement of bitcoin's price is very fast and most of us here didn't expect this early that the price of bitcoin is going to reach at $1,700.
This was all happening due to japan legalizing bitcoin and now Japan investors are buying bitcoins seeing the potential of it and the business peoples are also taking opportunity to increase their sales by accepting bitcoin as payment option |

what's wrong?
The only thing it can happen is if the received transaction has got very little transaction fees then it got rejected after some time and the bitcoins will be sent back to the sent wallet address. So you can get details from the person who sent you the bitcoins. Other then that if you need help then you have to provide some more details about the transaction. |

Hi everyone, I've heard about a project of doing an "ETF" (exchange traded fund) on the bitcoin. But I'm not sure to understand the point of that since we can already exchange bitcoins on platforms ? What could we expect about the cryptocurrency to become if the project works ?

It will open up a whole new trading market for bitcoin and prices will be manipulative as fuck. So i don't know if it is a good thing tbh. Look how it did to gold. I agree with your point that if it got approved and listed in ETF then it can be traded through fiat currency by all the brokers and the price will surely fluctuate more then what now it is happening and it can also be traded like what they have done to gold and silver or any other commodity trading. so it is also a risky to add it to ETF. |

Both are better in their respective fields. But if you consider local daily usage, then Cash is better as it is accepted more.
But in online market I found BTC to be beneficial and easy to use in many online stores and services.
yeah both is better and we should mostly using cash because bitcoin is not acceptable for direct shopping in my country so then i use cash money for direct shopping and bitcoin is a too much great currency for digital uses. Ya it is true that where their is not direct usage of bitcoin shop , their all users convert the bitcoin to fiat currency and use it so cash is need for the daily life expenses and Bitcoin is source to earn just like doing job and getting payment in bitcoin and then convert it to fiat currency and enjoy it. |

Hi,
I am new to bitcoins. I registered with Coinbase (PITA) and was given a 2,000.00 per MONTH spending limit. What the heck can you do with that?
I tried IpayYou that had a daily limit of 1,800.00 but have had "transfer failed" cancel out the purchase (after BC went up 120.. in a day) with no reason given. Is there some other approach to BC that will allow for real investment. CEX has BC but at 100.00+ more than Coinbase. Where can I go (be nice) to get information/education on how to but more than pennies worth of BC?

If you give all your identification process then i think your buying limit will also increase. and if you want higher limit or no limit in buying then you can go with localbitcoins site where you dont have in limit of buying and selling if i am not wrong. |

Why won't you be given any calculations for your profits that you will receive from your investments? It's not just another altcoin project, but a website which has given an awesome opportunity to play there with an altcoin when Bitcoin's price increased a lot (ETH was not too high when vDice took place) and gamblers took much advantage of the website and are still playing. And when they have users playing on their site, I bet why they won't be able to pay their investors? I think Vdice are paying dividend or the profit sharing to all the VSL coin holders on monthly basis so this is also a good option of buying and keeping the coin in the wallet to claim the profit share which is also a good profit for the coin holders. |

I think its not a good idea that you sold your bitcoin since the price increase from these days its because in japan that bitcoin was legalized..
That is why the price i think it can be stay longer and more price increase will come these coming days or weeks because of this good news..
I agree with you that this boom of bitcoin is healthy and in this boom the main reason is of Japan legalizing it and one more reason is that ETF approval decision of accepting it or not, if the ETF approval is rejected then i think we can see a small correction but not much high so selling right now is not good. |

The bounty's which new altcoins pay for all the campaigns are best plans to earn ETH right now. Its better if you want to save your BTC because you never know when BTC can pump. Right now it is 1700$+ on Preev and fluctuating.
So do you think that claiming bounties is the best way to earn ETH, i am not sure how that works but bounties will be provided in their respected tokens right and if so how come you will get ETH alongside it.The price of bitcoin is moving high and it really is astonishing. What you are telling is correct as much i know that their is no signature campaign where you will get ETH payment only the new coins which are running on ETH platform and which are giving their own tokens. |

In trading I prefer short-term investments. Because by choosing a short-term investment then I can earn income every time. I need money to live, so I will not wait long for money. Each person must have a different opinion. And I choose short-term investments as the top choice.
yeah there is many people like to short term investment but nowadays i think long term investment is much more better when we choose the long term investment then we can get a big profit and short term invest can give us low profit if someone try to gain a big profit then they can go to long term investment. It is not correct always that long term investment gives good returns, if you are playing with altcoin then you have to see the project of that coin and then according to it you have to decide the investment plan but for bitcoin everything is possible according to the trader. |

Yeah thats a bargain! The ICO was 1BTC for 7500, so this means 0.00013 and thats when BTC was around 600$, so you're selling around x5... And those didn't cost you a single penny since they were given for putting down a signature  But even then it is risky to buy from him as you are selling the coin with the Bitcointalk.org account but what if after selling the coins and account after some time some one with new id will come and start to yeall that this account got hacked and then everything will be in mess. So it is much better to buy the coin in liqui.io exchange in iou atleast we are confirmed that when it gets listed we will get the coin. |
