161  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex HACKED - funds stolen ! on: August 07, 2016, 08:58:10 PM
its really sad to see that such stuff happens, fortunately i didnt have any money in it
This is pretty common.
Remember gox and cryptsy? They had security breach as well and were slowly going bankrupt until they went public. This is why I never fully trust hot wallets from exchangers. I would always transfer them to a desktop or a hardware wallet everytime I'm done using it.
yeah, i bitcoin world i think it is not the first and not the last time because these websites sometimes are legit robbed and sometimes they just scam people
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: August 06, 2016, 08:48:11 PM
A few hour ago I lose 2 BTC in gambling site Fuck myself then that make me cry,I think im never back to gambling site, gambling site makes you cry i believe it and idk why im so addicting to gambling may this reason becouse I lose and want to try again to bet just want to recover my loses
Feel sorry with your loss, may i know how you lose that amount and what game you played? don't try to recover your loses, or you'll ended losing more your money. if you were played on Dice, that kind of game really need luck to win.
Dice just steal your money sorry to say it even though you have 100 btc in the end that amount will move to dice game site without a reason why you lose.

Exactly, because people mostly use martingale strategy when they are playing on dice and even if they start with a small bet but they would end up in seconds if they get a streak of loses and that is too common in dice.
its horrible when i see people still using martingale and expecting to win money with it, i think that it is better not to do that in order not to lose all your money in a bad run
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Bitcoin price is going Down....Any changes in your plan? on: August 06, 2016, 08:47:33 PM
That was a new, that says that the Bitcoin price goes down because of a group of hackers, who have stolen 65 Millons of dollars in Bitcoin, 100.000 BTC.
Luckily it does not make any change in my plans

Yeah, I saw that the prices go down due to the events of the bitcoin bitfinex who lost hundreds of btc and their loss is around $ 65 Milion. This is truly a remarkable number, but it's not too give effect significant change, because not only will collapse bitcoin with theft. But the bitcoin will collapse if its users already do not want to use it
even though the prices went down it didnt have any impact on me right now, i hold my bitcoins i held and i gamble with the very same amounts of bitcoins
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you like when gambling alone/ with your friend? on: August 06, 2016, 08:46:53 PM
much playing alone cuz dont want lost consentrate, but sometimes with my brother its fun when he lost and we can laughing at  Grin
i think that gambling with a person such as your brother is just dumb because you might get him addicted to it, if i ever gamble i always do it alone only because its entertaining for me
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting VS Lottery... on: August 06, 2016, 08:45:07 PM
Lotteries are a joke to me.  I don't bet on sports,  but I would think you'd have so much more fun doing that than playing numbers or scratching off a ticket.  I just don't trust lotteries either.  Anything can be rigged (even sports).
well there are people who make huge fortune out of lotteries so it isnt a joke though it is really hard to win so i choose sports betting over the lotteries
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is double options same as gambling? on: August 06, 2016, 08:44:32 PM
I came across double options in Secondstrade and IDSoption and I was wondering if it's the same as double dice.
thats nearly the same, if the website is in gambling section then it is pure gambling, if you dont want to lose your money then just stay away from it its your choice
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: August 04, 2016, 10:12:12 PM
Will be buy time when price starts to fall and rise again(or not, might be a bull trap)

I don't know how low we are going this time before a recovery
i think its right time to bitcoin because the is stable and i am sure that bitcoin will be going to up faster .
of course the price of the bitcoin is going to grow a lot in the near future, in my opinion it is definitely a great time to buy your bitcoins in order to make good profit
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is now a good time to buy and store Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2016, 10:11:23 PM
I'm looking forward to Bitcoin rise after the halving.
I'm planning to buy 4-5 BTC,is now a good time?
What do you all think?

There is no good or bad time to buy BTC, just spread it out over a number of months, and years.

Alex
well i dont think it is great to spread buying in a few months, i think it would be better to buy it all right now in order to benefit a lot in the future
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise? on: August 04, 2016, 10:10:36 PM
now bitcoin is already rising and only went down because of the hack so no need to be worry about anything, like always hold your coins for profit later on.
yeah, it is coming down back, i hope that the price is going to be big pretty soon, i think that i will make some good money out of this growth
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under 570 $ we go down again on: August 04, 2016, 10:07:43 PM
Look at the price:

1) 1° support is 570$
2) If 1° support is lost, probably goes arond 545-550 $ (2° support)
3) Under 540$  will go for test 500$
4) Bull signal only over 600$

is that just an advertisement for a website? i dont think that the price is going to stay so low, the only way right now is to go up in the future
171  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 03, 2016, 10:47:44 PM
Many ways to save money.. just choose what is the best saving for safety choose banks. for wise decision choose bitcoin to save your money and wait for the price to increase and sell it if you are satisfied to the price..
well yeah there are a lot of ways to choose from right now, though i think that it is the best to not just spend your money and thats it you are saving
172  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: August 03, 2016, 10:44:08 PM
The major obstacle I see is the adoption of technology. Many newbies are losing their coins and that’s not good for the network in the long run although it increases price of bitcoins in circulation. Another thing I would like to bring on board is government’s approach toward bitcoin. If we could not do something to prevent it from being criminal’s currency then not only governments but also rest of the world will not have good point of view towards us. We can always deal with small issues like price fall (just like current one) as we have dealt with it before this.

The bitcoin is still very risky. Not only newbies are losing their bitcoin, but also big exchanges like Bitfinex.

This is not really bitcoins problem here. Of course it can be hacked as long as it is in the internet. There are many who will try to do it but there are ways to prevent it. Bitfinex lost that, the security that they can give for their supporters.
Bitfinex halted trading after discovering a security breach, which included taking its website offline and pausing all withdrawals and deposits and in response, bitcoin prices fell roughly 20% lower.

It seems quite risky to store the bitcoin in the exchanges. It is better to withdraw after the trading.
im also withdrawing the money out of all the exchanges right now, the bitfinex hack showed that i should not trust anything so i will hold my bitcoins to myself
173  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: August 03, 2016, 10:43:07 PM
Gold will always appear to be the safest to me, as it has been a valuable commodity since the beginning of civilization. Bitcoin has only been around for a few years. It still has a lot to prove in my opinion
well of course gold is way more safer than bitcoins though i think that gold is boring and bitcoin is going to have a way better future really easily
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of Bitcoin change more than traditional currencies? on: August 03, 2016, 10:40:55 PM
I noticed that the price of Bitcoin change much like all altcoins.
But the price of other traditional currencies like the euro, for example, are stable and do not change much.
It is the government that control their prices?

The number of people that use bitcoin is much less than the total number of people that use traditional currencies like the usd, eur, gbp, and because there are less people using bitcoin means that if a big group of these people decide to not trade or sell their coins then the bitcoin price increases a bit, but if they decide to sell them at a lower price (dumping) then the price falls down and makes panic to others to sell their coins because the price is falling.
thaght might be the case, though in my opinion it is because of that banks are not controlling it right now, i hope that stability will be reached in the future
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Next generation money on: August 03, 2016, 10:38:54 PM
They rare going to make a new form of money in the future and I believe that everything is going to be digital which is both positive and negative at the same time.
I hope that they are not going to rush things because I do not think we are ready for such a big change.

I think this blockchain technology is the starting point and with the advent of bitcoin, shall we say 20 years from now or less more improvement on the system and more bugs is fixed and more problems is addressed. Its a good start, slowly but surely we are getting there into the future. Smiley

With almost all transactions being digital then bitcoin may be the next generation money. With the advancement of technology and the bitcoin gaining popularity then people may opt to use digital money in the future since fiat currency is losing its value. For now, there are still so many people not aware of it but as time pass by, maybe a major event that will happen and made bitcoin popular even for those people that are not into technology and just stick to the old ways and it may convince them to use bitcoin then may be change has really come during this time.

Unlike Bitcoin, fiat can also be used in offline transactions (as paper money and specie). This is a great advantage, and unless Bitcoin somehow solves this "last mile problem", it will continue to remain inferior to fiat (in this respect). And even the theoretical possibility of resolving this issue is vague...

Since it would contradict the very concept of blockchain (I mean offline transactions)

That is right. Fiat cash is also anonymous. It can be a good tool in underground transaction without being detected.
for me fiat is not anonymous enough, besides that i think that using bitcoins might have way less fees thats why i use bitcoins over all the other money
i dont need a lot of anonymity too, i think that bitcoins will definitely be the next generation money and it will be really huge currency in the future
176  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the next halving really matter that much? on: August 02, 2016, 09:27:34 PM
there was no significant effect of halving, and today has decreased. but I can not judge at this time, because we have to see until the end of the year. may be the effect of halving the coming few months of the close of the year.

The effect of the halving could be felt in 6 to 12 months. There will be fewer bitcoins and the price will rise.
well it could be or the price could be dumped because everyone will just wait for an effect  you mentioned not buy and then dump all the coins
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: August 02, 2016, 09:21:04 PM
where are the people showing how much better Gold and Silver performed the last couple weeks?  Grin
they are hiding in the corner, gold and silver are terrible investment options compared to bitcoin, im all in bitcoins and im waiting for big prices
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I know the reason for a fall from $650 to $600 on: August 02, 2016, 09:18:35 PM
there is no serious reason, get used to it, it is how bitcoin works the price might be dumped or it can grow any time, i think that because of that bitcoins are really great
179  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: August 02, 2016, 09:09:04 PM
if you looking for job in Bitcointalk then Signature campaign is the best option
not only signature campaigns can make you some money, you might also want to try something like programming job for bitcoins or other services
180  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: August 02, 2016, 09:03:58 PM
I think people who have large capital in bitcoin will be very careful with the news. because bitcoin users still quite a bit so it is possible bitcoin
users into a panic because there is no good news about bitcoin. in case of panic may alternately prices could be down

The recent price drop of the bitcoin is due to the diversion of funding to ETC. When it is dead, the money will flow back.
i hope you are right about it, if yes then the price of the bitcoin is soon going to be recovering because ethereum hype is going to be gone
