Yes theoretically is correct, but it's hard to make people have the same mindset, and each person got its own profit percentage, we can't prevent someone to sell, if they feel that the price is already reach maximum they will sell it rather than to hear anonymous advice, and no one want to hold the coin forever, at one point they will sell it, so the theory cannot be implemented in the real investment or trading world

Yes, I usually used it for reference, but not as my main point decision, I prefer to read the whitepaper and check the developers team, I join their social media and the telegram to follow their roadmap and how they attract more investors, I prefer to see how they interact and how they solved the problem, rather than judge the ico from the website rating

Volatility does play important part of becoming currency, not all people think like OP, the problem is a lot of people also consider bitcoin as investment, so let say a cup of coffee is 10$ and you can pay with fiat or bitcoin, and there is a chance that bitcoin price is going up tomorrow, that person will choose to pay with fiat, because the btc could give him profit, and for the coffee shop owner, the price need to be stable so he can arrange the better finance and get a proper profit, so as long as the volatility is too high, crypto can't be used as currency

I am not comfortable to send my data to the developers, actually I don't see the purpose of submit kyc document for them, the purposes of the crypto is anonymous and the document is a very private thing and we need to submit to some unknown site, I honestly dont feel comfortable to send my document, so I always avoid any coin or bounty that need to submit kyc

I think this is true, every day we are facing more serious inflation, you can see how the fiat value dropping each year, and when you flasback 5 years ago you will see huge different of value, and with the global crisis the situation become worse, crypto does give a hope fot a better economic but still you need to be careful when invest in crypto, making your own crypto won't save any economic condition, it will make the crypto market more chaotic
