So are you holding your bitcoins for future events such as halving or you more like to spend your bitcoins when you get it? I personally like to spend it for digital goods usually...
I think it is a good investment to hold bitcoins until the price rise. But for me, I spend it as soon as I earn. I still do not have enough money to keep my bitcoins for long term. I am glad others are holding their bitcoins as some kind of investment. |

I hope they return the service. I am more comfortable using bitcoin as payment method specially when transacting online. This is a huge setback if other companies also stop accepting bitcoins as payment.

There's a consistent theme that I see popping up on here that I find rather fascinating, and that is the way that many posters perceive BTC.
What do I mean? People doing things with BTC that they'd never, ever dream of doing with their dollars - gambling as an 'investment', or gambling at all, pouring coins into bullshit investment schemes run by totally anonymous showers of shit, lending on here to shambolic morons, asking the question 'where do I get free coins?'
Considering how much of a pain up the arse it can be to obtain coins and keep them safe and their future potential, I find it bizarre that there's such an extreme disconnect. I would've thought it should be at the opposite end of the scale but that's clearly not the case for many.
Why do you think this attitude has developed and where do you stand yourself?
Anything that can be exchanged to goods and has value are as good as FIAT money to me. If others spends their precious bitcoin in gambling or scam investments is their own prerogative. Maybe they still see BTCs as just internet token and can be taken for granted. But for me, anything I earned with blood and sweat should be treated preciously and spent wisely. |

I do not have 1BTC simply because I am still new in crypto currencies. I have heard bitcoin before but it is just recently that it catched my attention. I really regret that I did not focus on it earlier when the exchange rate was really high. But I am still fortunate because currently the price of bitcoin is going up. I hope it won't reverse its track when I finally earn my first BTC. |
