Quote
CardCash, an American online company that buys and sells discounted gift cards from thousands of national retailers, has begun to accept bitcoin payments. CardCash joins companies like Gyft and Fold that provide ways for Bitcoin users to interact with the massive gift card industry.

...

In September, CardCash expects to roll out its mobile app that will allow people with a bitcoin wallet to buy gift cards online instantly. “You’ll be able to walk into Wal-Mart, go shopping, go on the app while you’re in line, and buy a gift card right there on your phone,” said Bohm. “When you get to the checkout, you just show them the barcode.”

804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: February 08, 2016, 10:32:01 AM
I see more and more acrticles of bitcoin being used for illegal activities
will this hurt bitcoin in the long run , will governments ban this just like they started to do wih paying in cash for some services
to harden the use of illegal , and money laundering
yes you are right, bitcoin being used for illegal activity, but its not main reason why goverment must ban bitcoin,as we know,so many payment also used for same thing, and goverment not ban that payment/currency,illegal activity that use bitcoin just will make bitcoin have bad label or mark, and more people will afraid to use bitcoin.

Hey guys, i was wondering how you guys got into bitcoin. Furthermore, who was the first person you saw using bitcoin, and was it them who got you hooked? Personally, my first experience with a fellow bitcoiner was when I was walking through the mall and a boy was busking for bitcoin xD

810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take it from me: Bitcoin will NOT die in our lifetime. on: February 08, 2016, 07:55:36 AM
Time has changed, folks! There are a lot of countries discussing the use of Bitcoin and now even mainstream scientists say, that Bitcoin is more transparent than cash and it will revolutionize not only the financial market, but also contracts, real estate, authority right etc etc. They even admit to not understand the Bitcoin code completely, but they are working on it.
Soon they will understand, that any alternate blockchain, will not provide the same security as the one from the "original" Bitcoin network and then we will all get rid of cash.

Thank y'all for support
yes i am agree with that, and thanks for sharing and spread positive thought abut bitcoin death,i believe as long we keep use and store bitcoin, and so many company or startup develop bitcoin, our beloved crypto currency will stay and never die.

817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi can't be just one... on: January 27, 2016, 10:24:45 PM
Guys, correct me if I'm wrong but,
Considering the whole concept of how Bitcoins come into existence, Satoshi Nakamoto cannot be just one person, right? It must be a group...
if the whole thing lies in transactions, how could have Satoshi mined the genesis block all by himself?

Satoshi is the project creator, and than some people or team help him to develope,so satoshi is one person i think

819  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: January 06, 2016, 03:58:56 PM
Greetings all. I'd like to know what you would do if your bitcoin did one of the following, as I am a little confused about what I'll do myself...

What would you do if:

Bitcoin hit $1,000,000:
Bitcoin hit  $1,000 again:
Bitcoin stayed where it was:
Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents:
And which of these do you think is most probable?

Thanks for your opinions,

 -Lags
Bitcoin hit $1,000,000: i will buy when the price still $7000 and sell on $1 milion Grin
Bitcoin hit  $1,000 again: i will keep collect bitcoin with free way.
Bitcoin stayed where it was: still collect bitcoin
Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents: maybe i will stop hold bitcoin
And which of these do you think is most probable? The most probable ia second choice Smiley
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: January 03, 2016, 04:28:07 PM
i heard many Cryptocurrency but why people mostly use bitcoin?

i strongly believe, the main reason people choose crypto bitcoin than others is because of the price, I guess if the price bitcoin worth only dogecoin or neucoin, then bitcoin will not peopuler like today.
