563  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S7 with single DPS-1200FB PSU on: March 17, 2016, 12:20:02 PM
You should downclock it a little so it uses 1300w and try it, server psus can take alot without any problem (still check for temperature to avoid fire hasard).

I ran a 1kw server psu at 1.3 for a few days non stop, it gets hot but works fine. It's back a 800w now and has been doing fine for 2 months
564  Local / Petites annonces / [VENDS] SP10 ou S5 KNC Neptune on: March 17, 2016, 10:55:43 AM
Salut salut,

- 1.4th/1kw

- underclock possible a 1th/700w

- Rackable 1.25u

- alim 93% intégrée

- plug and play

- Très bruyant

Sinon des S5 (40 units) :

- 150-170€ selon le prix de l’expédition

- 1.1th/600w

Allright I like that price, how much would shipping to France zip 35000 be?

I realize it might kill it but it's worth a try Smiley

I'll try to get a quote for you soon. We don't have original boxes for these so we'll have to make some. If you can find somewhere online the dimensions and weight of the original KNC shipment let me know.

I had one shipped in a big cardboard box of a stereo system, it was aprox 50*90*30 (CM) for a weight of 26kg. No idea for the original boxn I only get second hand stuff Smiley

pictures would shure help, I used to have a x6 and had this problem too...

And I still have it with some other miners so I'll take all the info you can give me Smiley
567  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] - 50x+ SP10 on: March 16, 2016, 04:10:32 PM
I'd like to offer 3K for all the miners, I realize it's about 55 bucks a piece so terribly low but still worth a try. I will look into the shipping cost is you accept the offer, I live in France and i will sel them individually if some people are interested !

Very nice but video is not public. Thanks for the information

should be fine now mate, glad that helps

How do you tell the difference?  When I log on the the miner it Say Sp20E I also took the advise from above and under volted it runs pretty quite now. Here is a picture of it running

https://gyazo.com/23ed4fbb87f418fe45ccb6085f2dea62

How much quieter is it? I might get these in the future but noise is important to me.

Is it the same as an S3 ?

I just downclocked mine with the fan a 10%, i humms "gently" but you still wouldn't sleep with it in the same room.

If you're interested I can make a video this evening to show you?

Also, at 10% the exhaust gets pretty warm, I'm quite shure it's not good for he asics but that's the price of quiet

Sure a video would help. But did you also undervolt with your underclock ?

Temp Front / Back T,B
27 °C / 65,60 °C
Fan Speed
10
Start Voltage
0.65 / 0.65 / 0.65 / 0.65
Max Voltage
0.67
Max Watts
190 / 190 / 190 / 190

and jere's the video : https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1pT04MB3X0aS3BYUTZvNHlDckk (hope the link is public, tell me if it's not)

it gets me 1.3thash for 750 watts so an effisciency arround the s5 level (but more noisy) I run mine on a 700w server psu and it works like a charm.

btw, the high pitch noise is the psu, the miner makes the deep noise you can hear behind

What do you mean by S2 kit? and how heavy is it?
573  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 1600/1300/1200/750 PSUs on: March 10, 2016, 08:47:19 AM

578  Economy / Goods / Re: What would you buy from France? on: March 04, 2016, 02:11:26 PM
Well from France i believe that the potencial products being sold from their is perfume, that are the best and the price at Brazil atleas is around 50 to 80% bigger then at Europe, but i believe buying from others countried could be even cheaper as i know France as a country with high prices.

well that's true for worldwide exported luxury products, that's why I was going for food mostly. All that is produced locally and only in France (such as Champagne, Brie etc.) will be cheaper by me because I will not pay import tax to your country and will apply only a small margin.
579  Economy / Goods / Re: What would you buy from Brussels? on: March 04, 2016, 10:21:32 AM
You can probably sell beer kits, I have my own supplier but some people might be interested
580  Economy / Goods / What would you buy from France? on: March 04, 2016, 10:20:19 AM
As everybody is doing it, I'll throw myself in  Wink

Willing to ship anything (except drugs, guns etc.) from France.

I can ship cheese, wine, all sorts of food vacuum sealed for the customs.

Warn me if your customs are strict so I can hide it in something else. As I lived for some time in AUS and NZ, I know their customs are a pain so I won't be shipping here, sorry mates...

I will ship using tracking with DHL/UPS/FEDEX or La Poste, escrow accepted of course!

PS : I will not ship white flags or french fries Grin Grin
