First round Crystal Place 0 vs 1 Man United

The end of the first half is good for the Red Devils with 1 point. Shaw was able to provide precise assists where Bruno Fernandes was unmarked. The team's performance looks solid, although currently Weghorst performance is still not adapted well, this can be seen from the opportunities he gets but cannot be executed optimally, and his movements are sometimes easily broken when dribbling. A temporary victory can actually make them add to the breaking power if Garnacho is sent down in the second half.

All eyes on United tonight right ? Or should I say on Palace? Because Palace will play their chance today in order to get points and I'm not expecting United to have an easy game at all , plus , they have home pitch advantage that can count a lot.

As predictions , I think Palace might score first goal  Cool
That could happen if only scoring the first goal doesn't mean that Crystal Palace won until the end. Because at least that will push Manchester United to be more aggressive. The first half was very decisive but so far I believe in the game Erik Ten Hag is able to make big rotations in every line. What's more, this fight is quite important for the Red Devils to get more points, and will be very lucky if that really happens.
1483  Economy / Economics / Re: Brace yourselves, CBDCs one Step Closer on: January 18, 2023, 05:22:31 PM
Central Banks are already exploring the whole notion of developing CBDC systems so this may come sooner than one might think. What do you guys say? Ten years ago, I said that it would take 10 years for governments start adopting CBDCs. Now that 10 years have passed, some countries have already adopted it but it is still not mainstream. How long do you guys think it will take for CBDCs to become the norm?
CBDC is unavoidable when it comes to technological advances, automatically the government touts finances to switch to CBDC. In order to save the state treasury, the people have stepped more independently and intelligently in securing their wealth in crypto. Instead of traditional fiat, the government realized that sticking with paper money without considering digital finance was a loss-making move. When America started this step, it is possible that other countries will soon follow.

I don't think it's strange because this season they just throw money away in a hurry and this is not the first for Chelsea because previously Mudryk wasn't the same as they were spending money fast. Don't know what the obvious reasons are at this point but indeed they are always in a rush to spend money especially when Todd is in the Chelsea squad.
On the other hand I think as long as they are always like that for now with too much rush then indeed this will get worse for them.
Chelsea's actions in the transfer market have backfired for their own team. As a result, the players they recently bought are still questionable whether they can guarantee that they can improve their performance both in the standings and guarantee that they can enter the Champions League next season. It sounds bittersweet, but it's a fact when hasty decisions cause bad things to continue. Not only in terms of purchases but Graham Potter was also dragged further and made himself doubted by all the blues supporters.
1485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 17, 2023, 01:02:58 PM
After Chelsea overtake Arsenal to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk, it doesn't stop Arsenal to find another good potential young winger, Arsenal now interested with Facundo Torres from Orlando City. Although Mudryk and Torres are different, Mudryk is fast and become a second striker, while Torres is a playmaker and helping the other striker to score a goal. Arsenal only have Saka who can play as left winger, so it's good to find a new replacement if Saka is injured.
Apart from being lucky, Arsenal have a supportive squad to continue to extend their position at the top. The purchase of players made them even more confident, especially since Arsenal are in their golden age. Obviously they know young players are a long-term target. I think Arteta will continue to be trusted, he is fully supported by all levels of Arsenal and is able to control players nicely. So after losing Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chlesea, it turns out that the alternative players chosen are also quite promising.
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 17, 2023, 12:32:32 PM
I only set a bankroll to play and that is the maximum I will spend on gambling for the week, usually 50-100 or max of 200 dollars.
That is all we have to do to handle losses without further consequences. If you stick to a fixed bankroll, you don't have to worry, because once that money is lost, you know your gambling session ended and you will start a new one only next week, with another limited fixed budget. For gamblers having difficult to stop playing, it's better to never deposit more than the amount they set to use for the week, otherwise they will feel tempted to continue wagering with extra funds, even after losing the pre-determined amount.

This is a fairly simple method that I always use when facing losses in the casino. One of them is by not having it in the wallet. I set the money to gamble a week only 2 to 3 times. So when the 3 rations ran out I had secured the money in my wife's wallet. Because then I can't bother with the money that he already holds. Sounds simple but what I did was effective till now.

My wife is a safe depository for money. lol

Keep in mind that the allocation for the casino per week has become a final agreement for me that even if I win or lose, I will just forget about it and welcome the next week without burden.
1487  Economy / Economics / Re: More Money Problems that Bitcoin Solves on: January 17, 2023, 12:14:25 PM
Bitcoin overcomes people's finances, improves their lives, especially the economy, which can make someone who is poor with strong determination equal to the rich. Freedom over your own finances and the government doesn't like that. They can't cut crypto taxes, they can't make the state coffers grow. Therefore Bitcoin is always used as a label for money laundering in their eyes. Because the government has to print more money for Bitcoin disbursement. While CBDC is just an evolution of fiat, its nature and use remain the same in controlling how many assets are owned by the community.
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to profit from altcoins collapses? on: January 16, 2023, 01:44:49 PM
Is it possible to profit from collapses of altcoins? Do you have any ideas how to?
Not sure what you want to invest in an altcoin that is obviously collapsing but want to put some money into it. It's the same as you throwing money into the grave of the dead. After all if you want to invest or trade there are plenty of other altcoin options to choose from, instead of dropping money into an altcoin with no clear future why are you still interested?

My question is on what basis do you believe in a crypto project that collapsed as if expecting big investors to come and pump it overnight?
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 16, 2023, 01:13:41 PM
Honestly I was very happy with and amused by the match this time. Man United and Man City displayed a desire to win, although I see indeed Man City excelled slightly in possession of the ball. So several times they forced the Man United players to defend.
But Ten Hag's move to include Garnacho was quite effective. Casemiro and Freed also performed well they continued to be in front of defenders and left Bernado Silva and Foden unable to move freely.

What was even more interesting was when Haaland movements were blocked by Casemiro and Varane. Several passes directed at Haaland were well intercepted by Casemiro and Varane contributing to keeping Haaland moving. Ten Hag was able to turn off Man City's spearhead by killing dangerous players. Even if we saw that Foden got frustrated and in the second half became more effective in building attack. Even though he had been under pressure since Grealish entry, Erik Ten Hag actually surprised him by bringing in Garnacho, who is basically agile on the sidelines. That advantage was put to good use, up to the 90+ minute formation by including Martinez as a backline dessert.
1490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: January 16, 2023, 12:59:51 PM
All the callers, saying Bitcoin will get to $12k $10k or below, we haven't see $14k so far, is $15.4k the last bottom for btc or we are still going to see more dump??

this should be a mini pump
because Btc is resting at a critical supply zone. If it breaks and close above it, we may not see 12k. If not 12k here we come

Looks like we got some entertainment! thanks Op you bring a very different atmosphere.

Regardless of how believable Bitcoin is up to $12K, the fact is all you have to do is watch it happen. So let us just take the price that is in sight. You just wait and wait for the $12K to happen.  Tongue

Does this make it clear for you to be sure and wait?
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 16, 2023, 12:43:23 PM
Did anyone watch Mudryk play for more than 2 games? The guy has 50 games in total for Shakhtar, I really cannot understand how they got 100 million for him.

The initial offer Arsenal started with was 40 million, this exploded way too high and way too fast. I feel Boehly has no clue what he's doing.

To be honest, with this kind of spending Chelsea has to be looked at as a title contender - which means that they are drastically underachieving.
most people doubt this player, because Mudryk is not yet categorized as a rare player or a player who can be considered a top player. Therefore Chelsea's purchase is considered a reckless purchase for the umpteenth time by the Blues. There were no achievements that made Mudryk just a gambler at Chelsea. That could be dangerous or another blunder because Chelsea's purchases this season haven't shown much improvement at all.
1492  Economy / Economics / Re: My investments ahead of the 2024 halving 100% Bitcoin on: January 15, 2023, 12:57:19 PM
snip~
It is important to note that the halving event, which occurs every 210,000 blocks mined, or roughly every four years, has historically resulted in an increase in the price of Bitcoin over time. However, it's important to remember that past performance is not a guarantee of future results and that the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile. It's also worth noting that different investors have different risk tolerance and investment strategies, what works for one person may not work for another.

Diversifying your portfolio can help spread risk and potentially increase returns, but it's important to conduct your own due diligence and make suggested decisions time to time to get consistent returns.
I completely agree that the halving event has been a positive sign for Bitcoin, but it's important to remember that the market is constantly changing and nothing is guaranteed. As a Bitcoin enthusiast, I truly believe in the potential of this cryptocurrency to shape the world and revolutionize the way we think about money. However, it's important to always stay mindful and conduct your own research before making any investment. All in bitcoin is a good strategy but also consider other options such as gold or real estate
The Bitcoin halving is in sight and we still believe that it's never too late if beginners want to get started. There will be cycles of ups and downs all the time in Bitcoin so this opportunity can be taken at any time and consistently collect a few dollars in Bitcoin. But regarding setting aside altcoins, the risks are too high, where choosing and sorting altcoins is not only difficult but there are countless numbers of them. For this reason, by focusing on Bitcoin, we know what the future will be like.

This recent increase is still early days and we will see it soon throughout 2023. There may be a break at some point and that is an opportunity for anyone looking to take advantage of the halving.

I was mega skeptical about United in this game against City as they were nothing near favorites to take this one and yet they did. Now , I'm not taking any credit away from United but City kinda looked lost in this game right ? and this is happening for some games with City ...a spiral of bad games that keep going and going. For United , they have green light for 2nd place and a small title fight chance with Arsenal Cool
Manchester United at the end of this month and the beginning of next month will be very busy with match schedules. For 2 to 3 days, they will continue to be faced with difficult games. If I look at Manchester United's match schedule, I'm worried that the main player's performance could be injured. Moreover, Rashford must be ready besides facing Crystal Palace on January 22, the opponent is Arsenal.

As Erik Ten Hag said to the press after the match against Manchester City they have to stay consistent and keep improving. Erik Ten Hag also aspires to create an army of monsters in the red devils.

Once again Chelsea made a waste by cornering Arsenal who had tried to bid on Shakhtar players. Chelsea dropped €100 million without a second thought. I don't know if this is excessive or not, because Chelsea seems to be doing this kind of action many times in the transfer market this season. Mudryk talent who has never had a track record in the European caste but is successfully priced at a high price. I wonder if this is just a price game that Arsenal are deliberately building with Shakhtar to bait Chelsea.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 02:29:07 PM
This is boomeranging isn't it? unexpectedly with the entry of Garnacho made an assist after a few moments of a quick comeback. This proves that Erik Ten Hag was right in his decision. Garnacho broke the silence. good job Man United and I'm not mistaken to include Garnacho is the right choice to surprise Man City.

this is really a great surprise from Manchester United. Initially, MU maintained a defensive strategy, but after trailing by 1 goal, MU's game pattern became more attacking to catch up. and this is indeed a wonderful surprise. i.e. 2 goals in less than 6 minutes. namely the 78th and 82nd minutes. and yeah Garnacho had a very positive impact on reviving MU's game.

Extraordinary in the hands of Erik Ten Hag, now everything becomes unpredictable. Having seeds of players who have now grown is scary, unexpectedly the score was able to make us satisfied with Manchester United's performance. I salute the comeback made in turning things around. After this Manchester United's position will change drastically and have the opportunity to occupy an ideal standings position.

Congratulations on the victory achieved with great sacrifice. They deserve to be winners. Standing 3 is occupied by the red devil.  Grin
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 01:32:22 PM
The game looked to control the Manchester United players quite well some tense attacks from Rashford but that failed and in the first half the result was still 0-0.
The midfield side is pretty good I like this kind of play and being told Manchester United have been more impressive pretty sure it will be tough in the second half as well.

I saw just now that Rashford is in pain, is this going to be injured? I'm worried about that because he was on fire and kept scoring goals before.
Rashford is clearly needed in the second half because he is still very effective when he becomes the spearhead of the team. I don't expect him to get injured, because it will have a bad impact on Manchester United's attack. Instead of Rashford, maybe the option will be replaced with Antony, even though the one who deserves to be replaced is Martial. He's less likely to put a dangerous emphasis on it.

The second half will make Pep Guardiola emphasize more on all-out attack because he doesn't want this result to be a draw.
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 12:46:37 PM
Man United really carried out strict control and were able to balance Man City game. In fact, so far it has been positive that all lines of Erik Ten Hag troops have played loose and controlled the game. If they continue to be consistent I'm pretty sure they can score goals in the first half. The central midfielder is able to open space for attack from the left and right side and looks active.

Man City is still under pressure and has not been able to pose a threat to Manchester United's defense. Haaland also didn't move freely because he was heavily guarded.

They are just terrible. Mistake after mistake for Chelsea and i think some big changes needs to happen in this team and management. Joao Felix already dissapointed the fans and the club with a red card that killed the game for them. Fulhams dreams for europe are real now.
Chelsea are very down with this defeat because they have bought several new players with quite a lot of money but still cannot get a win in this match, so this shows that what Chelsea is doing to defend its defense is useless because they lost the match against Fullham which in my opinion is still easy to beat.
Chelsea steps further away to be able to dream of playing in the Champions League next season. This result had an impact not only on the Chelsea camp but the fans who hoped that Felix's arrival could give a new color instead gave a bad color. Being rewarded with a red card is clearly not a positive thing but it has brought Graham Potter closer to his tenure. Losing to Fulham was very disappointing, with these results Chelsea had to bury their dreams. Continuing in 10th place in the standings is definitely not what Chelsea wants. lol
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 13, 2023, 12:44:15 AM
The arrival of Joao Felix will not be able to change everything, in fact his arrival will even sacrifice one of the three attacking names in the Chelsea squad, one of which is Aubameyang, Christian Pulisic and Raheem Sterling and if Joao Felix does not meet expectations in making his contribution, then a loan contract this will be much worse for the Blues in competing in the Premier League.
The purpose of recruiting Felix was to renew the Blues' attack line which was considered not sharp. But I doubt Felix will be able to solve the problems Chelsea are currently facing especially in such a short amount of time. Felix is indeed one of the talented young players, but he is not experienced enough and the Premier League is a league that is quite tight and tough.
I think he will contribute to the team. We are not talking about any football player, we are talking about Felix.

Maybe this evidence is enough to confirm that Joao Felix is really only bringing Chelsea worse. Got a red card in his first match? In my opinion, this is a shame, far from what was expected, instead of improving the situation, it worsened the situation for Chelsea, who had to submit to Fulham. Was it surprising he played or wanted to spoil Chelsea's formation?
