Very interesting share ! While there is lots of nodes in Western Europe, this is lots of room to grow in any other part of the world, especially Brazil and India, where there is so few nodes. Africa is also disastrous in term of node coverage but this is rather normal for me.

We have already seen that until today it is clearly Ethereum. And I think we are far from the end of the year, and with Casper arround the corner and the staking FOMO it will create, Ethereum could easily go back to its ATH.

Principle of an ICO is to raise money for the developpment. An ICO that has already a working product does not need any funds and just want free money  ... Why would you say raising money for development is a principle of an ICO? It just so happened right now IMHO What I meant is that an ICO is designed to raise money in order to develop its product. If product is already finished, no further money is needed and it is just giving the developpers free money. However I do not clearly understood what you meant  . |

Company or affiliate shills keep posting these threads no one likes a product this much. I like certain pc manufacturer but never would start a thread praising them that's just stupid.
Anyway Baikal if you want to sell the 2000 m/h miners to us drop the price to 1000 USD right now and we will buy several. Otherwise it's not worth the cost. Delivery within 2 weeks or no deal.
So it costs over 1000$ ? 1000$ is fine, 1500$ too maybe, but still I would like to get a clear price to have an idea of what it does cost ! |

How much money did hackers get?
According to the founder of Parity (client Ethereum) Gavin Wood in the official channel "critical" vulnerability in Parity led to the fact that at least three accounts were compromised by hackers, which led to theft in the equivalent of 31,725,019 US dollars.
At the time of publication of the article about 150 000 ETH were deduced from the purses. This data is also confirmed by the Etherscan service.

With 1080 Tis better mine ZCash since they are very good there and sell them to buy another crypto-currency if you do not believe in ZCash. Ethereum is for me a great option on short-term.
Yeah, Zcash is by far the best coin to mine with 1080 ti's, yet the future of it worries me.. As I'm in for long term ( HODLing) and am betting on it to grow progressively. Part of the fun is gambling on a new altcoin as well, I see a lot of people buying waves, mining OBIQ, decred, siacoin, etc. Getting these for less than a dollar or a cent, hodling and having great profits in the future. It depends of which strategy you want to use. You can sell anything as I told you before and buy a crypto-currency of your choice, or maybe several, in which you believe. You can also sell a part to pay electricity, and let's say sell 30%, 40% or 50% and buy another crypto-currencies in which you believe. Or maybe you have other ideas ? |

It is somehow deceiving considering Antminer D3 offers 15 GH/s. Moreover they have a very weird system to give the price as you have to ask them, they give it to you - and can scam you by asking more than other people - and you have two hours to pay. Very weird and unprofessional...
Antminer D3 sold out in 2 hours. No detailed information at the web site. I doubt thet sell Andtminer D3. I think it is for checking the order request only. Or they have them and use for their own mining. You cannot buy it now and for a long time. Baikal team sells the new A2000 Giant + miner. They dont ask more than the other people. If you try to buy from aliexpress, ebay etc, yes the people want more money than the usual price. But the Baikal team dont want higher price. I think the price of the A2000 Giant + has really good price. 6 months ROI sounds good. This is of course interesting and I will check how much they sell them, and if they do not sell at a too high price I will order one, or maybe several if they sell it at a good price. |

You are a FUD master ! Ethereum has not at all being hacked, but rather just a very specific type of wallet on a very specific wallet software, and just because the owners of this wallet did not securise it correctly. It totally does not affect us.

No it will not go to the moon, this is what can be called a shitcoin. Volume is so low that even myself could decuplate its price easily. When investing in a crypto-currency a big volume on the long-term is the most important thing.

Wow just days after coindash hack and now this, this is not good for ether as a platform. Ether will surely take a knock on price.
Ethereum has nothing to do with this, but rather the wallet and the way the people that got stolen securised their funds. What you are saying is like if there was one hack on Electrum, not even all the Electrum wallets, Bitcoin would be responsible. In fact he would not be. There will be no roll-back this time, as Vitalik ironised on this today. |
