102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Karpeles on bail on: July 15, 2016, 11:49:47 PM
He looks like they worked him hard in jail to get rid of that gut and fat face of his. If you didn't say that was him I wouldn't have recognized him in a crowd. I think that is why he lost all that weight or they didn't have doughnuts and slushies in the big house.  Tongue

I guess he is also happy that many people can't recognize him anymore. He can just further undergo some slight cosmetic surgeries, change a name and happily spending the huge fortune ever after! I think he must have used some brainwallets to keep all the coins!
Why don't you ask him yourself  Smiley

He is on the forum:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=360819

He can't change his name on here  Cheesy
Because no mater how many cosmetic surgeries you have - on this forum you are always going to be the same.  Grin
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: July 15, 2016, 11:44:44 PM
We have to believe in fiat because bitcoin does not know what it's future will hold for anyone.
It is just to unstable from one end of the lower margins to the other. Tomorrow you don't know if it will be down a hundred dollars worth or not. With fiat you know it will not sink that low so fast.

And fiat is tested already for centuries. No reason to think of a erasure of it since fiat has it's own role same with bitcoin. Bitcoin dominates the online transaction while fiat on the other hand, dominates the physical and direct transactions.
This is truth. I am not denying this fact.
But since you put it that way there is a division that bitcoin can break eventually with the help of one thing that fiat does not have:

104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: July 15, 2016, 11:41:52 PM
There are hundreds of millions of tech savvy people worldwide but only 1.2 million Bitcoin addresses that have any meaningful quantity of bitcoins in them. There's another 1.2 million that have dust in them so they aren't buying anything with those addresses. In 6 (six) years Bitcoin has attracted less than 3 million people tech savvy enough to use a Bitcoin smart phone app and only 1.2 million active users.

Pokemon Go was released on July 6, 2016 in only North America and already has 21 million daily smart phone users.

Apple Pay is a piece of shit payment system that only works on Apple phones. It was released less than 2 (two) years ago and already has 4 million users.

Google Wallet is only available in the US, has only been around for 4 (four) years, and has 27 million active users.

People don't care for Bitcoin and it's not because they're too dumb to use it.
I heard this stats too this morning about Pokemon go app.
If only bitcoin devs got nintendo to go bitcoin only payments for the transactions of purchases in the game. The price would be back up to $1200 in that instant they sign the contract.
You know how much nintendo stock is right now? It is shocking just for this one 20 year old game. lol!
105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nice terror attack: lorry driver who killed 84 (10 children) during Bastille Day on: July 15, 2016, 11:36:59 PM
I dont even get why do people forgive someone who killed a child ( does not matter if it was on purpose,or by accident ),i think
that if the person done something stupid which caused the child death,he should get death sentence for it,unless it was not his fault/
Who is forgive this scum of the earth. It only makes sense that he was of a muslim family and had one too which he did not give a damn about going and doing this s*1t in the first place  Roll Eyes.
That only goes to show how screwed up that religion makes people who are in a fragile mindset to begin with when they get suckered into join this crud of the earth thatt will eventually destroy this society that we live in.
THIS IS THE REALITY WE LIVE IN. DEAL WITH IT!  Cry
106  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nice terror attack: lorry driver who killed 84 (10 children) during Bastille Day on: July 15, 2016, 07:17:28 PM
Believe the police?

Too much of a coincidence if you ask me.

They do not want to unite the country against Islam by admitting an attack on the national symbol of France.
No kidding man!
Belief in police let alone the french. Both double FAIL if you do that!  Wink

It was a co-ordinated attack - one in Nice then an attempt on the Eiffel Tower just to make a point to French officials that they mean business. Come on now  Roll Eyes You know who you are dealing with aren't feeble minded nit-wits who don't know what they are doing. These are suicide bombing Jihadists who will stop at nothing to kill or be killed for the love of their Allah.
I would not like to be living in France or near them (even in Belgium) right now. One incident after another in a span of 2 years is total BS and as many of those "Drinking our wine and just keep living as normal" french people think, they are not safe in their own country. That is the NEW REALITY for them from now on!  Angry
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Karpeles on bail on: July 15, 2016, 02:48:50 PM
Plot twist: Maybe the Japanese government will hire him as a consultant to fight cryptocurrency crime? Remember the movie "Catch me if you can?" He is the best person who knows everything about how these crimes work!
More like the movie "Now you see me.."  they robbed banks in that movie and got away with it in the end without any reprecussions whatsoever. The sorry of his life .. I guess  Undecided
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: July 15, 2016, 02:44:03 PM
THE story of blak people just kidding but then again what good is depression  keep yourself calm and chillax take some break I remember the time (2013) i bought  2Bitcoins for $600 and thought back then, that's too expensive for not really real money i love bitcoins because it helps me alot it also helps me to pay my monthly bills   Roll Eyes
The great depression was in regards to economical woes in the 1930's not for black people.  Cheesy
I think you are referring to the hard times of african americans in slavery times which was not the depression which was towards everybody.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 49 days till the halving, time is flying now on: July 15, 2016, 12:55:30 PM
I thought there will be a big peak or a big dump, but i forgot a third option, nothing happens Smiley
I don't think many thought of that third option of being part of the halving scenario.  Undecided
Shame really for a lot of people had spent a fair bit in buying beforehand thinking the price would explode but it fizzled a couple of weeks before then dropped and it is at what we are at now.
Kinda disappointing really.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: July 15, 2016, 11:22:42 AM
Some unexpected results today.

Partizan only got a draw against Zaglebie and 6 goals in the KR Reykjavik vs Grasshoppers game, when most games have less than 2 goals so far
the EUROPA league qualification matches are full of strange clubs Sad i have no idea which one i should make a bet last night , i just put my money randomly on under 2.5 goals and luckily i won most of my bets Cheesy really a lucky day , i do not put any skill to bet on sports Cheesy
Haha how lucky you are, bet randomly and get a money because last night all match end with rare goals.

Isnt it obvious that most match will end with less than 2.5 goals? The current europa league qualification consist of teams that has had almost no warming up match before this match so this is some kinda warming up match for them and it is pvvious there will be less goal then your expectation

most games end with with 2.5 goals and in some rare cases end with more goals like in some matches
but this is predictable to place in most matches under 2.5 goals almost certain win
If it is a common occurrence to have under 2.5 goals then I don't expect the odds to be to appealing for each of those matches with that selection. I could be wrong though.
I never bet on friendly matches but I know it is common to have high amount of goals for those matches too. But the odds are low.
111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nice terror attack: lorry driver who killed 84 (10 children) during Bastille Day on: July 15, 2016, 11:19:11 AM
The Eiffel Tower down? What does this mean?
The lights are off or it is crippled in someway  Undecided
Having all this happen at the same time is very concerning. Maybe it is Cobra trying to take it down  Huh
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: July 15, 2016, 11:11:14 AM
Do you think that in this year halving is a profitable???

Halving has no effect over btc price.

Maybe it`s profitable for people who are mining bitcoins.I don`t know.

Perhaps, one month after the halving, the price will start to increase.

We need to have patience as the effect of halving will be felt after few months, so if you are looking for higher profits then you need to hold your coins for a while.

Halving has already had its effect on the BTC price and, yes, it will have even more effect in the future. Selling your BTC now is not a smart move IMO, it's better to hold them and buy them if you can.
But without selling any bitcoin then there isn't any movement in the market and it will be stagnant.
I think it is natural to sell and then buy bitcoin to keep it health and not just bullish when it comes to price fluctuations.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: July 14, 2016, 09:08:42 PM
Bitcoin can not replace money because it does not have the proper backing. With money you know the federal government backs it so it will not fail unless the government fails. And by that time we will have much bigger problems than money to contend with like medical and resources that sustain us to live.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: July 14, 2016, 09:06:47 PM
We have to believe in fiat because bitcoin does not know what it's future will hold for anyone.

115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: July 14, 2016, 09:03:45 PM
For people who sold theirs coins when price was around $750 it was profitable but nowdays it's around $660 like it was almost every time before price rising.
Some are saying that it is either going to stay at $666 or raise to $777.  Shocked

What is with these strange numbers. Is it the end of days or what. Lol!  Cheesy
If it raises then I think we will all be in heaven even if you have just a little bit left from the halving like me.  Lips sealed
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: July 14, 2016, 09:01:21 PM
Brondby are an absolute lock to beat Hibernian. Hibs are in the second division and not taking this game seriously. Right now they don't even have a recognized goalkeeper. Both goalkeepers from last year are gone and it's an untested kid in goals. This is the biggest lock of the week.

Easy money  Wink
Next time let me know when there is a sure game being played that you are foresure on.
I could use some easy money right now.  Embarrassed
Too many losses in the last month from my soccer picks.  Sad
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2am gambling session profits update [profit: < 0.19 >] Balance: 4.7 btc on: July 14, 2016, 08:58:12 PM
Just go on BetKing.io.

Check the high rollers.

Had I slept I would have been $4.2k richer. Fuck me. Sad

OMG you spend a lot of money to gamble  Sad  is this the first time you gamble with bitcoin ?
I hope this is the last time you spent money on gambling with a large number you'd better use for your family

After looking at this, I was just thinking all the time, "Why didn't he just give that money away here or to charity!"

I think BetKing will be closing their doors soon. Because they got a month's worth or profit in just 10 minutes so they can close shop now and live happily on that loss of yours. Embarrassed
118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Amaizing game, Guys on: July 14, 2016, 08:53:19 PM
Just tried it but most of the site is in russian.

I only managed to get 1500 satoshis from what looks like a faucet in the game in the bank section.
But I think to progress you have to deposit btc to the game to actually play.  Embarrassed
119  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 14, 2016, 08:48:08 PM
I spend them as soon as I get them.
It is very hard to hold on to something when it's value isn't same as when you received it.
Talk about a high level of depreciation  Roll Eyes

Usually it only rises when I hold on to it for months on end but that is if I hold on to any when I get them. Cheesy
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: 350 USD in August on: July 14, 2016, 08:44:58 PM
It's coming

Whaou, that's not only pessimistic, that's nearly unrealistic ^^

350$ is nearly the half of what's right now!
It's... really low. Why would we see such a drop?

But this is what it was last year, so why not this year? Markets are slow the economy has not changed. So what is much different from last year other than the halving hype that did not improve the price at all just a dip that was pretty big. Some people thought that bitcoin was collapsing instead of growing that was promised after havling was said and done.
