1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream news talking about the rise of Bitcoin already on: November 21, 2015, 11:36:40 AM
I heard bitcoin from an article about bitcoin mining with AMD graphics cards. Then I studied more about bitcoin.

The future of bitcoin depends on the awareness of ordinary people and if they can understand the benefit of bitcoin.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Petrodollar to be substituted with goldbarrel? on: November 04, 2015, 12:34:19 PM
But the truth is that if the petrodollar ceases to exist, America will crash. There will no longer be anything at all backing up the dollar and it will be worth less than toilet paper. So we can either collapse from the weight of debt needed to finance the wars or we can stop fighting and deal with the consequences a little sooner

The American has the strongest military power in the world, it will not let it happen. It will wager against anybody trying to weaken dollar usage.

If only i had more fiat......

If you (not necessary you) have more fiat and buy the bitcoin, but if you cannot hold long enough, just sell it at $1000, the profit you make will be the smaller than the other guy having half of your fiat, but sell at $10000.

Just hold on and be patient. You will be rewarded.

bitcoin price will rise significantly in the future together with this community member number

Bitcoin price will rise significantly in the future if it is widely accepted as a payment method and store of value.

This is the future of bitcoin Grin
http://www.c[Suspicious link removed]m/2015/11/03/bitcoin-to-be-6th-largest-reserve-currency-by-2030-research.html

By 2025, it will be the 6th largest.

By 2035, it will be the largest.

It will be used widely. Many people in many countries will have bitcoin. That is different from other national currencies. For example, Japanese Currency is main owned by Japanese.

If the battery technology has advanced as you say, why should I still recharge my cell phone every night? Wind and solar tech is meaningless unless you somehow manage to store up electricity (or, at least, transmit it without significant losses for thousands of miles)...

Storing energy is the most difficult part for the renewable energy as they are quite intermittent. Hydro power is not reliable during dry season.

Both bitcoin and US dollar dropped a bit. The mining hash speed is at record. If the difficulty continue to rise, there will be no profit for miners.

back to 0,45 cents my friend.

I don't think it will drop quite that low. Now that the Microsoft news is confirmed I think 60 cents will be the bottom.

If it drops to below $0.3. I will stop mining and buy some. At $0.3, the cost of mining is higher than the Eth price.

Maybe the pump has finished and the dump has started. Coin trading is difficult for us. We are not whales.

Oil is finished after 100+ years of being the main agenda. Just like paper and silver and so many other "essential commodities" for enterprise, this is gong to take a while. Any portfolio should be based on Bitcoin and metals and tend to gravitate more and more towards these two as time goes on. Personally im going to start selling stocks and go on BTC and metals gradually over this decade.

What are you going to use as a substitute for it, I'm sorry? GLTY with Bitcoin...

The substitutive energy for fuel would be hydrogen, and battery which is charged with renewable energy.

Hydrogen has been around for hundred years already, but I don't see many power stations using it a source of power. In fact, I have only heard about ITER, an experimental reactor, yet to be built. So, I suspect, the funeral of oil is a bit premature...

As I said above, until we have major break-throughs (which we don't, and may not have for another 100 years), oil is safe from dying out

Sorry, I mean the hydrogen used as a fuel for car and other vehicles. We may use fuel cell to consume hydrogen in cars. Hydrogen can be created by renewable energy.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft is not accepting bitcoin anymore ? on: October 31, 2015, 12:44:36 PM
No worries. I am very soon they will embrace bitcoin and perhaps integrate bitcoin in their latest windows??

If the bitcoin wallet included with all Windows products, then that must be a very good booster for bitcoin ecosystem and we can see very good price appreciation with this of bitcoin value. I wish that could happen in very near future.

Even better if Microsoft provide the bitcoin wallet with some bitcoin in it. Even it is 0.00001, it is good for the adoption of bitcoin.

Does anyone know what the ETH market cap would look like if the price of one ETH was $10?
Genisis (60M Crowdsale+12M Other):   72,009,990.49 Ether
Generated From Mining:                   2,456,924.42 Ether
Current Total Supply                          74,466,914.92 Ether

So the market cap will be $744M if the price is $10.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of bitcoin on: October 30, 2015, 07:11:17 PM
Bitcoin prices are increasing rapidly over the last few days which is the very good sign for the  future of bitcoins. If the price of the bitcoins keeps on increasing with the same pace then very soon the golden days of 2013 will be back, this will build and increase the trust for the bitcoins among the people.

The golden days of 2013 were very bad for the bitcoin for the next 20 months. We want steady rise, not pump and dump.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wall Observer/Research ETH/BTC - Ethereum price movement tracking & discussion on: October 30, 2015, 06:44:35 PM
I don't think we will see the price fall far at all. We are seeing surprisingly strong resistance right now.

The Ethereum price dropped 15%. It has risen too fast. It need some time to absorb the selling of bag holders.

$10 woul be insane whats the market cap at $10 thats like what 800 million from 80 mil ? i cant see that any time soon.

The problem with Eth is the huge pre-mine and the tons of coins that are already out there which limits the value of each indivudal eth.

To much premine. More than 95% of coins out there are premine. These coin will sell for $2 and still make huge profit.

The price of Ether has risen a lot from the recent bottom. This might help the foundation to survive longer. Hope the foundation is competitive enough to develop something nice.

PetroYuan or PetroBitcoin is the future. China will use more oil than America for the same per capita consumption. However, China does not have strong military.
China does not have strong army? Are you kidding? Their army is 2nd in the world right not. And probably will be first in matter of years now.
Soon they will have everything (top army adn economy) to back up yuan and petroYuan will be real.

Chinese military is weak. Personally, I wouldn't put them even into the top 3 strongest (toughest) armies. Japan would knock them back into the Stone Age (again) if they were given such an opportunity...

Maybe the number of military personnel is large. It is quite corruptive. It has not been in war for many decades. It will take many battles for it to grow strong.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc-e price lagging lately? on: October 29, 2015, 06:04:24 PM
BTC-E has been like this for years. As mentioned above in one of the previous posts, it might have something to do with the fact that it is fairly difficult to get fiat currency into your account there. If I want to have a certain amount of fiat currency there, I just deposit BTC and sell it there to get $ in return. I have been doing this since early 2013. Best and fastest manner if you ask me.

Do you mean you can get fiat out of their exchange easily but it is difficult to send fiat to BTC-E? Wonder why.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of bitcoin on: October 29, 2015, 07:53:06 AM
just look at the alt section, there is no competitor among them for bitcoin, the only one could be monero, nothing else

from this point of view bitcoin future is without obstacles...

Monero could be potential competitor for bitcoin, as it provides anonymous, untraceable transaction.

Ethereum could be another one as it offers a totally new platform.
