Well done, I hope you the best. The cryptocurrency world is too temping that no one can skip such opportunity to get rich. However, people only speak when they win, not when they lose and bad luck can happen to you at anytime. I was in a group on telegram where people reported being stolen money from multiple types of scam. The most notorious was the scam tokens contract: some scammers send you some tokens which can worth upto $10000 on their website and you think that you are fking lucky. However, exactly at the time when you approves your contract, BOOM, every coins which you have will eventually move out to another coins. Such a piece of trash.

Nobody is going to waste their time in making 51 attack on a new coin or an unprofitable coins. Bitcoin and ethereum is no longer susceptible in being attacked anymore due to large hash rate. New coins need time to be accepted. So if a unvalued coin is attacked, people will soon abandon it.

It's usually hard to persuade the older generation to invest it cryptocurrency and that is because most of them are not tech savvy and it is not good to invest your money in something you don't know. Try to enlighten them about the technology and how it is the future before you advise them to invest.

I will not sell my ethereum unless it hit $4000. If i am patient enough, $6000 will be my next target.
Selling bitcoin at $4000 will give me approximately x4 of my initial deposit. I want to withdraw some of my profit for other projects as well as to secure my fund. There are many good IDO giving you more than 10 times after investing

Most people just learn the basic of trading which is just executing trade, but this isn't enough to be a successful margin trader if not you keep loosing funds, you have to learn about chart patterns, know how to analyze trade, know how to read candles. With this knowledge of technical analysis you could actually know when to enter and leave the market, like it's said no one can actually know the direction of the market! I might be new but with my studies I can say technically analysis could help to predict the market to an extent. Trading futures without knowledge of technical analysis is just like gambling because you don't know the next movement your just trading based on luck
Do trading without knowing even the basic things is just suicide. Yeah, that your right that some people are hoping for Good luck but that is impossible if we don't do anything to improve our trades. Basically, trading needs knowledge and skills, not just having a LUCK alone. I got the point. Holding is just a simple word but doing that as an actual strategy, it's not that easy to handle on the way.
Others will say, just hold and forget. But even after 5 years, they will see those coins as undervalued or the worst, dead.
This hold until 5 to 10 years strategy should only be applied at those dominant coins over years.

In the first bitcoin havling, we saw bitcoin strike more than 100 times. In the seconds halving, bitcoin climbed from $1000 to $20000 with numerous of altcoins projects.
