Being uncapped is one fact and being useful or better put, having a use case is another fact and perhaps the most important one. Use case is very important in any coin, any coin which lacks it will struggle to grow and remain sustainable on the long term as it will have no power of attraction to get investors onboard as at all time. Nowadays, many people care less when it comes to supply but when it comes to use case, they get highly interested because that's where the whole thing depends on.
Therefore, in my own opinion, if Doge transform by whatever means and have a very good use case, then it will be a different story but till then, it will be what it is, which is a pump and dump coin.

I agree with you 100%, but FOMO is here. There a lot of people, without knowledge, who are jumping/jumped on dogecoin because the price kept on rising and rising. It is typical human behavior, when you see a coin/stock rising and rising, you want to be part of it and will buy it, without really thinking over it.

I had it at $ 0.62 and I thought I had a bargain but it missed. I still hope the Elon-Doge hurricane will return stronger. My goal is $ 1 and I will continue to use my savings to keep buying.

This is not necessarily a fact of concern. DogeCoin becomes more difficult to mine over time.

Hence, Doge mined between 2020 and 2022 would not be the same as the amount mined between 2022 to 2024 (as an example). In a sense, yes; it is inflationary, but it becomes less inflationary as time passes.

The people's awareness of that infinite supply is what has held Dogecoin down even after the goodwill shown it by Elon Musk. Otherwise, we should be seeing the price in single digit rather than the cents it is ATM. It's that fear it would be dumped at any moment that has kept so many investors away from throwing cash into it. However, I don't believe it's overpriced the way it is if we actually look at its speed of transactions and less miner's fees it has. Dogecoin has a very fast rate of confirmation way ahead of Bitcoin despite its over 129 billion already in circulation where Bitcoin has less than 19 million in supply. If anything as much as can cause Dogecoin to announce burning or cap its supply we will see its price climb the roof, literarily.

Having a cap is not what a cryptocurrency needs to be great but there has to be utilities or use case. Without that, their is no difference between DOGEcoin and SAFEsomething coins that are just pump and dump tokens today.

Infinite in terms of 1 block per minute for all eternity is true.

But 1 block per minute or 1440 per day  or 525600 blocks a year loses impact with time.

Just remember always regarding the purpose why Dogecoin is created it is only a meme coin and that's the reality let us stick to that point as a reference so that we will not be lost, now the question is pointing about the infinite supply for me its no sense at all because in the very beginning it is only a joke coin and today's price is also a joke and if we are not aware of the situation our money will be burn because it was all base on the hype no solid demand and only controlled by few wallets that's why the risk is pretty high compared to other shitty cryptocurrencies out there. so beware don't let yourself drown with Dogecoin. if you want to invest just a minimal amount that you can afford to lose.   

You think people do not know that? People are 100% aware of the fact that it has infinite supply, people know that it is a meme coin, people know that it was created for just joking, people know that there are people who own majority of dogecoin as well making it centralized in price aspect.

Long story short all the downside of dogecoin is already known and well documented, but there are still some people who are buying it for some reason. I do not know why people are buying it, I do not know why people are still pumping it, I can't say that I would ever consider buying it myself neither, however at the end of the day if people are going to buy it and make it higher, then I can't blame them for it because it did worked out so well so far. This is why even if all the technicals are showing something wrong, sometimes market is just unexpected and does wild things.
