87  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: How much would you trust trezor? on: November 23, 2015, 12:23:04 AM
To be completely honest, not as much as others may. The chances of them running off are extremely slim, but it's not just that. My Trezor recently crashed, and if it were not for my Recovery Seed's and an old Android phone, it's possible I could've been out a couple of coins.

The hardware does have too many problem, and mytrezor.com is shit tbh. I don't know too much about the company so I won't say too much, I trust them a fair bit.

89  Economy / Services / Re: Donate To 1000's of Charities Using BTC :: Bitcoin Donation Fund on: November 21, 2015, 08:25:35 PM
Skype
that's even worse. there's a reason most of the sensible people on this forum flat out refuse to even touch skype you know.

What would be greatly appreciated from anyone is a suggestion to make sure the donator actually donates. The worst thing that can happen is someone scams by faking an email. You can donate $1, then forward the e-mail and edit the $1 to say $50. I found Teamviewer/join.me the only practical solution.
90  Economy / Services / Re: Donate To 1000's of Charities Using BTC :: Bitcoin Donation Fund on: November 21, 2015, 08:22:26 PM
via Teamviewer
no.
as if this wasnt sketchy enough already.

Changed to join.me/Teamviewer already on the other thread. Skype screenshare to be added soon too.
91  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buy Bitcoin Using PayPal [ANYONE] on: November 21, 2015, 07:34:42 PM

Teamviewer?? You do know this looks shady as hell?

Hmm, are there alternatives? I may add in join.me as well, as that is another well-known and secure service. It does look shady indeed, I'll add in join.me Tongue.
92  Economy / Currency exchange / Buy Bitcoin Using PayPal [ANYONE] on: November 21, 2015, 07:27:57 PM
I will be managing a new way to buy Bitcoin using PayPal. It's very simple. We will use the following website: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/search-cause

How it works is simple. After a donation via BTC is made on this thread, I will match you up with a charity to donate. After you make the donation over Teamviewer/join.me, I release the BTC to you.

To Buy BTC with PP, PM me. Trusted users always take priority.

FAQ's:

Is there a fee?
On my side, no I do not take a fee. But, you are required to send 5% more than the Bitcoin you receive. Meaning, to buy $10 worth of BTC, you must pay $10.5.

Do I have to use Teamviewer/join.me?
Yes, there are no exceptions. You must use Teamviewer OR join.me and take necessary screenshots while I am watching, or you will be denied the BTC.

I forgot to take a screenshot, now what?
I am strict about Teamviewer/join.me and taking screenshots while on it. If you donated without following my procedures, you are denied BTC, no questions asked.

Can I chargeback?
You really want to chargeback on a charity? Besides being permanently banned from this service, negative feedback will be left and a post made if found that you chargedback.

Can't I just use hacked funds?
If you think you can get away with this, you can't. The e-mail connected to the PayPal is what receives the confirmations.

I will be managing a new way to donate to charities using BTC. It's very simple. We will use the following website: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/search-cause

This is in relation to this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1258046

How this works is simple. You send BTC to the address, with the note of the charity you want it sent to. After this, I will search for another user who is looking to buy Bitcoins with PayPal. That user will donate via Teamviewer with me, and then the Bitcoin will be released.

Address to donate (MUST include charity name or funds will be refunded): 1JyWiMR6ugFhkPP9oskVFn2ESeyesiSSb

If you need proof of donation, simply contact me, I save all files of each donation. I take 0%, although when you donate, an extra 5% is added on. To receive $100 BTC, the donator must send $105 PayPal. No fee is taken by me, but rather the extra money is sent to the charities. Since the demand for Bitcoin using PayPal is high, donators are always encouraged to make some sort of donation, big or small. It helps everyone, not just the charity Cheesy.

Common Charities:

Save the Children
Feeding America
American Red Cross
American Cancer Society

There are thousands more. Click here to see all.

FAQ's:

What if the user who donated using PayPal chargesback?
This process relies entirely on trust. Although nothing can be done to stop a chargeback, that user will simply be banned from this service forever. I can't imagine why anyone would chargeback... on a charity.

If I send $10 BTC, how much will be donated?
If $10 is still $10 at the time of donation, $10.5 PayPal will be donated to the charity you chose. This is added on from the 5% fee.

How do I know you won't run off with my funds?
I require proof from all PayPal donators before anything is released. If they donate, but don't give required proof, I will not release the BTC.

What if they fake a screenshot of proof?
They can't, I will be on Teamviewer with them watching.

Can't I do this myself?
Sure you can, but the point of this thread is to make it easier, and to encourage people to donate in a much easier way. I'm volunteering to do the extra work.

It's always interesting to see how a new owner is going to handle things, but I can honestly say that I like what you've done with the place Wink
Seems like you're picking up some speed with your new business and you can count me in as a player!

See you around, and hopefully you stick around .

Thank you for the great feedback! It is very hard, especially with such a small team, and using a name that isn't so new. I do believe DustDice has big potential and a high level of competition. I'm doing my best Cheesy it makes me happy to hear that my work is actually making a positive change.

I'll definitely see you around! Come on chat, I am normally on there. It can be alot of fun during the more active hours of the day. I'm here to stay  Wink

looks fucking awesome, although i stay away from dice sites or at least try to, i like the fresh design.

Thanks! The site really does focus on a visual approach, without forgetting about important aspects such as performance and community. Dice can get boring, DustDice tries to change that back around Cheesy. Your feedback really is appreciated Smiley.
