There is no doubt that it is Ripple. Its value has increased more than 3200% in 2017 from $0.006 in January 2017 to $0.2 in October 2017.

ETH and BTC are the basic digital coin, so people alway trust them. In addition, ETH with Ethereum platform is the platform for the development of altcoins and ICOs projects. Let put your money into ETH, It won't let you sad. 

I think the best altcoin to invest in 2017 is Ripple. Look the chart, you can see that Ripple price has gone up 33 times in 2017 from 0.006$ to 0.2$. The increase is greater than bitcoin. So, my view is that Ripple is a potential coin in 2018. 

Now, I think ETH can't go up soon. Because most investors are interested in growing of Bitcoin. They believe that it will reach to $10,000.

Yes, I total agree with you that Ripple is not suitable to invest in short-term. Ripple was launched to build an International Payment platform. There are more than 1000 banks use Ripple platform in the world. I believe in the future, Ripple coin will go up. 

I would like to suggest some altcoins to you. Those are Storj, Litecoin and Waves. Those coins have potential to increase in the future.

After doing a quick research, I don't think Utrust project is a scam. There are many ICO about e-commerce platform base on blockchain and smart contract, but i think this is the most potential project. Now, they also mobilize $3.5 million form pre-ico and private investors.  I believe that this project will succeed. Let wait the result.  

In my opinion, Wave, Stoji, OMG are potential coins which can go up in the future. Rest of coins, I don't have information. 

I think most people will sell Bitcoin and BTC gold to buy altcoins. Only big investors prefer to store bitcoin. Small investors are interested in altcoins. These can help them receive profit. 

If you are an old person and you don't understand technology clearly, you should choose the old way - buy equities. Contrary, you could invest in altcoins or tokens.

Nothing is impossible. 5 years ago, No one believes that Bitcoin will be $6000 right now. So, you could choose an airdrop you feel good and receive their coins. Maybe 5 next years, you are as rich as Billgate! lol. 

Before joining an ICOs, I will do a research about Plan of a project, the developers, what will their project do to solve problems? How many tokens they sell?... If I feel it good, I will invest.

I just bought Dogecoin for fun. Dogecoin was launched for Shiba fans. You should not hope it will raise. 

I'm not picky with ICOs, just with my money.  . Before I invest tokens I have to read their whitepaper, watch the trailer, follow Twiter of CEO and chat with them if I have questions. Most ICOs now is a scam. Be careful.
