Any warranty ?
These items works and has been working more than year with almost no issues. However small fans sounds suspicious, so it should be replaced in 3 or 6 months maximum. I don't think I can give a long warranty because of fans.

If BFL still had their trade-in program I would so buy these.
Have you thought about just selling them on ebay as FPGA dev boards? They don't have many I/O options but someone could find some use for them.
Looks like bfl trade-in program is closed, so bfl broke it's own promises once again :-( Yes, I've searched price of the fpga chip inside but it gives prices from 40$ to 4000$ - I don't think it is because everybody want to buy this.

I'm selling two BFL Single FPGA for 6 BTC (3 BTC each), shipping to US from California (sf bay). 1660 mh/s averaged on heat-resistant firmware.

I've ordered one small kit. I really hope it will be delivered at the next month, not in August 2014 :-)

how exactly are you able to spend money sent to this address?
Any address with positive balance have unspent outputs (transactions). You have to obtain these transactions in raw form from bitcoin qt and paste it to the app. Then it would generate spending transaction (and verify it by itself) and after that you have to copy it and push it to bitcoin network by yourself using bitcoin qt or any other bitcoin service which allow to do that. It's quite easy. Most complicated thing is to obtain that unspent raw transaction.

What are the list of spending fees?
Now it is hardcoded to 0.0005 btc, next version will allow to set this fee.

The only way to protect from keyloggers and other spyware is to use offline clients. Passwords only helps when your laptop is stolen.

I'd suggest lowering powertune to at least -10 to make it silent and lower intensity to be able work in parallel.

Hi! I've just updated my android offline "paper bitcoin client" - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.valle.btcNow it can not only to generate key-address pair, but also it can create and sign transactions using your private key, so now you can quite easily spend money from your paper wallet. Mini, brain wallet, WIF, WIF-compressed, BIP 38(both ec modes) private key formats are supported. Enjoy! sources: https://github.com/ValleZ/Paper-WalletNEW in version 2.2.0 - wallets printing, view QR codes and changing password for encrypted keys ps Check out the app's permissions ;-)

I think if bitcoins is not a fiat money, it worth legally nothing. That's why you can gift/transfer it without any tax liabilities. However, exchanging it to fiat is your income, so you must pay taxes for that.

Why current system when you pay income tax on realized gains + sales tax doesn't fit there?

Thanks everyone, that explains. One more question - is there a way to check miner status/bitcoins amount mined etc? Maybe some json api is functional? Status quo in a nutshell: * mining now happens on EC2 instances, DNS records for stratum.bitcoin.cz have been updated * you might need to restart long running workers & make sure DNS changes propagated to you. Use netstat & nslookup, or just flush the dns cache and restart workers. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976.msg1926436#msg1926436* the website is not up at the moment, but mining is possible Hope this helps, T
