41  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 09, 2013, 09:35:35 PM
Some quick unsubstantiated maths for you, maybe it will ease your pain or maybe you want to ignore it.

4100 stolen from inputs.
1000 donates from TF to cover losses.
=3100

Lets pretend 1/3 was for loose CL funds going in and out so that would bring it to around 1000.

We know at a minimum that that CL has 4000 worth of assets/loans etc.

So if we discount the interest and just think about the initial investment and ignore the profit on the loaned coins. a 30% haircut should be worst, worst case - longer term when assests are liquidated etc...  maybe less, maybe just loss of promised interest?

If CL is solvent. and he can repay our initial investments, I for one think that interest payments should be donated towards the out of pocket inputs users.

@gaston909

Can you please tell us your source for these (bolded) figures?

Well Ukyo and Graet are close to bankruptcy and probably using all the money on WeExchange to pay back the people they owe.

Can you link to your evidence for this please?

Could you all be so kind and stop replying?

What I really like about this thread is that it only pops up in my whatchlist when there actually is something worth reading.

Don't let it become like other asset threads. That are full of random ramblings and trolls, but zero information.

Thanks.

+1 Please do not feed the trolls.
51  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Fenix. Hashing from the ashes of Bakewell. on: August 16, 2013, 11:26:52 PM
How about putting something to a shareholder vote?

- 60% Hardware reinvestment
- 40% Dividends ( 1 per week )

Seems like a good place to start.

I also think that putting the growth fund into a "safe" place to earn a little interest while we wait for a good opportunity to order is a good idea. Coinlenders or Ukyo seem safest.
52  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Fenix. Hashing from the ashes of Bakewell. on: August 12, 2013, 10:36:46 PM
I agree with halting dividends until there is enough in the growth fund for an order for a Baby-jet, unless that turns out to be another pipe dream in the meantime.

Lets put it to a vote.

This is excellent stuff guys, serously the media should have wind of this, just goes to show what the internet and a few good people can do Smiley.

Strello, post your bitcoin address if you would, wont be much, but its as close to a medal as I can do Smiley

@Evolvex. Yes, we are very proud of what we achieved through cooperation and discussion. This was very much a team effort, so if you would like to donate a few satoshis to the cause, please send them to 14McCpCbik4ZaugQeSXy91Fj8fQqrhoBVN and they will be distributed equally between the four of us. Thank you, we really value your appreciation.

To all asking about Google 2 factor and smartphone, there is a way to do it without.

You can use http://gauth.apps.gbraad.nl/.

Clearly this is less secure than using a separate device as it runs on your computer, but it works.

56  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: July 18, 2013, 04:18:26 PM
So I can't help but notice that there is no "news" or announcement at BitFunder about this.  Does anyone with knowledge of pass-throughs know what we as shareholders through such services have to do in this case?  Do we have to sell our shares (for less than the buyout value based on their spread), or can we just sit tight, and wait until our assets magically just disappear and our account balance goes up?

You can wait. The pass-throughs will automatically get bitcoins for all the shares they hold and will forward them to you and remove your shares.

how long is it until this happens?

Please note that due to my vacation in Spain, the payout and buy back of the S.DICE shares will not happen until the 28th.
I am sorry for this but I do not have my gpg key and such on my laptop they are on a dedicated computer of which I currently do not have access to.
Best Regards

I got an email from these people to my forum email address this morning.

So they have clearly started spamming forum email addresses.

BEWARE!! This is just a scam.
59  Other / Archival / Re: {Bakewell} Get an equitable stake in a transparent & growing mining company on: May 19, 2013, 04:32:54 PM
Dividends are currently suspended.

I was preparing to order the Avalon ASIC on the morning of the 31st... The total of the funds raised from the transitional tranche alongside the growth fund brought us up to just over BTC130
...I could use 75 to order one box, and sit on the rest... or I could take a loan to kick us up to 150 and order two.

I found a shark tank deal for a BTC20 loan. To repay this loan BAKEWELL will direct 100% of its hashpower to our creditor @ 50btc pps rates against our debt until the BTC20 is paid back.
Once the initial BTC20 is paid back BAKEWELL regains its hashpower and will resume dividends on the regular schedule.
Then the BTC received on the growth fund will be forwarded to our creditor for a short time in order to cover their profit for the loan.

On the bright side, after a hell of an interesting / nail biting morning... I think I was successful in placing an order for two Avalon ASIC (#2 batch) and I think I should be in the first handful of those orders.
-I made the purchase via a WalletBit account, so we have a receipt on file with them Smiley
Once these come in I will sell the gaming PC's & I figure the sale of those should cover one more Avalon box with the remainder going toward the expansion units,
So if all goes well that means BAKEWELL will have 3 full Avalon ASIC boxes up and running shortly.

Quoted for the history.
