MTGOX      Volume:28811 BTC

I admit I haven't been following for more then 6 months but I don't remember ever seeing the volume this low. Does anyone else agree or is this not as unusual as think it is.

It's not record low for the last 6 months by any means. bitcoincharts.com has data. I have seen Gox 24hr numbers below 20k many times.

Thanks FreeMoney I believe your same one as on SWC if so I enjoy the site very much. Have a good one.

204  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How could Pirate fuck your brains so well that even now many believe in him? on: August 25, 2012, 03:11:41 PM
How did Pirate get some many people to give him BTC without revealing his so called method for promising 7% weekly returns. I'm sure plenty of people were willing to gamble with small amounts and not really mind losing knowing something aint kosher here. Those who invested larger amounts were doing it out of blind faith unless they knew Pirate. I feel alot of scams will be weeded out as time goes on because BTC is still in it's early stage. I hope Pirate pays back everyone and my belief is he/she will.
205  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Pirate's Scheme never existed what would the current price of BTC be? on: August 23, 2012, 09:48:45 PM
Stagnant as a voting option?

Done thx for the feed back
206  Economy / Speculation / If Pirate's Scheme never existed what would the current price of BTC be? on: August 23, 2012, 09:11:59 PM
Hypothetically speaking if Pirate's alleged ponzi scheme never existed what do you think the price of BTC would be and why? I'm of the opinion it would be lower because of the manipulating one person has been able to do. What ever Pirate is doing even before his announcement to close down seems to have had a drastic effect on the price. I could be totally wrong and would love to hear someone's opinion with a real handle on what's been going on.

To get traffic to their site for advertisers.
208  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who thinks that newbie restrictions are pain in the ass, bump this topic! on: August 21, 2012, 03:23:00 PM
Actually it's a good idea to have newbie restrictions. It's 5 posts and 4hrs what more do you want. Huh
209  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT BTC on: August 19, 2012, 06:01:27 PM
Listen to a radio show called Donk Down and the host Bryan Micon talked about BTC. He also mentioned a poker site called seals with clubs that used BTC.

I don't even trust the NYSE

Math is math but human behavior causes the swings.

Glad to follow the newbie rules put in place and it's a good way to weed out the trolls.
213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason for current Bitcoin crash on: August 19, 2012, 05:36:23 PM
I know the article about Silk Road sent BTC to nearly $20 but what was the cause of it's crash down to $2 in Nov-Dec of 2011. Any info or a link to a thread about it would be much obliged.
