I'm not confident in a coin in which the creators already threw in the towel once before. Time, resources, and electricity isn't free. This is no longer a worthwhile investment for me in this situation.

I guess I shouldn't have deleted it and my wallet after being told it was a dead project?!

Who do I send a bill to for about 30kwh?

That's like, 3 dollars at 0.10$/kwh

11 cents.

That's like a McDonald's 2 for $3 double cheesburger deal with tax, maan.

I think it's a little amusing that my Core 2 Duo desktop has found more blocks than my i7-5500U laptop...

I think a problem might be that there may not be enough active peers to propagate data across the P2P network fast enough at this point. Consider setting up a few AWS cloud instances of the Daemon to help that...

I was wondering how people had modified the pool software, since your wallet client doesn't appear to respond to standard JSON RPC commands like other CryptoNote variants.

Honeypot. Enough evidence gathered for years of police work.

Funny how BI went offline shortly after this case was filed. I guess they needed to get sued to finally get their shit together?

We already know how "Free State Wyoming" is going. Nowhere, that is.

What confuses me is the value of cashing in all those BTC given at around $1.91 each. Unless they're counting each individual "day trade" in that, and him just cashing out his final balance after losses.

Investors BTC --->  Ponzi ---> His Exchange Account ----> USD in his checking account.

I would imagine the above connection to be hard to prove.

Really?  With the exchange account in his name?  To withdraw $150K would require full KYC and docs.

Have you seen what you can buy on the Silk Road?

I wonder if he was smart enough not to put all his eggs in one basket. There's other ways to withdraw wealth from BTC besides an exchange platform.

Anyone had a successful Bitcoin to ACH deposit yet? My order says "executed", but it's been 2 business days and any other ACH deposit usually shows up the next day when initiated.

the ones from two-three days ago are not being processed yet.  Official response is they don't know when they will be processed.
