Seems like the individual cap could only be 2-5 ether, is it really worth it?
2  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Cheap: NBA League Pass, HBO Go, Comcast Xfinity, Dish, MLB.tv, WWE, NHL, Hulu+ on: February 23, 2015, 05:32:11 AM
Dabangg sent me some Hulu accounts to test around mid January, just got a chance to try them out and they're still working, thanks man.

I would say 4 of them are quieter than an S1 antminer...

Thanks AForceNinja and all others that answered my question.

7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Gauging interest in server rack mining frames (for DIY silent mining racks) on: July 22, 2014, 04:11:21 AM
Good news...Manged to get a 10dB reduction in noise by applying 1/2-inch thick sound barrier to the top, front and sides.   Cheesy

Interesting, any pics? When will you finish working on this project?

Nice, I think it's cool that you shared your sales, repair numbers and pics with us. I'll be taking a look at this miner to see if it's a good deal.

Can you organize a group buy for SP30 September batch Roadstress? I'm sure folks would be interested if the price was right.

The noise complaints are numerous. So why doesn't Spondoolies address this issue and make an alternate version in a 2U rack size? I'm sure they would sell more units if they weren't so loud.

I thought my cointerra was obnoxious. Unless you have a room at the far end of your basement, this is not for you. I was really hoping to let it vent out the window. It's just to damn loud.
My SP10 is in a quiet rack cabinet:

I can't hear the SP10 at all, even standing next to the cabinet.

How do you keep the miners cool Zelek, is it located in a room with a powerful a/c?
That cabinet is in a corporate atrium which is air conditioned. Due to power constraints at that location I only run about 3kW in it.

My new cabinet is in my basement, and the cabinet vents out a 150mm hole through the wall. It will be cooled solely with ambient air. It can handle 7.2kW max load. It will house 1 SP10 and 2 SP30s come August... my little Spondoolies room.  Wink

Nice! This envy parade is getting longer.  Grin

I like that you can customize the U size so it can be as small or large as you would like.

Since it's going to be a quiet rack, how will you deal with ventilation? It obviously has to be enclosed to be silent, correct?

This sounds very cool, i'm sure that at the right price, lots of folks would be interested. When will you complete a prototype, or are you just gauging interest for now?

Lots of urls on the frontpage of the website. Which US url should i use with a 1TH SHA-256 miner? Should  I put it on a high difficulty pool, does it matter? Thanks for any help

I'd set up whatever pool (east, west) is closest to you (by ping) along with the same region's ddos-protected pool as a backup.

Ok i'll do that, thanks Flound.

Any videos showing it operating and showing how quiet it is? That may help you sell some more units.
