I had bought a coin from a seller that lived in Australia and the coin got lost or stolen on the way. That was the last time I bought anything internationally. Depending on the price go with the brinks.
I remember Zepher from the group buys years ago. He was honest and handled everything professionally. I Would also see him help and educate a lot of the newbies on this forum. It is sad to lose a fellow collector, not many of us out there. Zepher, you will be missed.
The true BTC and cas premium that is the only valuation. Why even count Bcash, bgold and all other shitcoins. Like Blazed said Most of the buyers in collectibles never peel the casascius coins.
I learned my lesson on a newbie auction. If they don't like the auction price they just disappear or decide not to sell. I do not want discourage legit newbies out there, but been burned twice already. Best thing would be to send it to Minerjones or another reputable member to sell the coin.
I think the premiums will continue to drop as well, but for many people that do not have a casascius coin. May be willing to pay a premium just to own a part of BTC history.
Casascius coin should not be used as cold storage. I was thinking of doing that mistake a while back good thing I came to my senses. I would not buy an overfunded casascius. Clams and dust don't count .
Wow sorry to hear that comit. I did not realize it but I forgot to ask about time stamping that coin with his user name. What I hate about newbie auctions or sale is how they can easily back out of a deal if the auction or sale did not pan out their way. BItbank was a recent one where I made an offer and he ends up selling it on ebay.
