So while I'm asking questions..
What's the best way to SHIP physical bitcoins (like Casascius coins) internationally? In my case i'm in in Australia and I'm guessing most of the people bidding here are in the USA or Europe?
From my experience - as I've sold a few on eBay a few years ago:
I have used Australia Post and DHL but unfortunately had a bad experience with Aust Post.
I sold one to a coin collector in Berlin and via Aust Post and it arrived fine - I forget how I declared it but simply as a medallion or something.
I sold one to a coin collector within Australia via Aust Post and it arrived fine. No declaration for local stuff.
I sold another one to a coin collector in the UK via Aust Post and this one I declared properly and got insurance as well. This went missing somewhere between Australia Post and Royal Post UK.
Australia Post refused to cover the insurance claiming it was a coin and I shouldn't be sending coins - despite the fact that the local post office guy said it was fine.
In order to satisfy the coin collector I sent him another one - this time via DHL and I packaged it up with a cheap $10 webcam and declared it as a webcam. It arrived fine and the guy was surprised at first (and freaked out) but happy in the end.
It was a pretty nerve wracking ordeal and I haven't sold any on eBay since.
So I'm hoping you guys might have some better methods of sending and insuring your collectables?
