I don't think the late reg is an issue once you increase the starting stacks to 5k. Besides, it is up to the players at the table to.. play, right? I keep seeing people go all in preflop when they have 50bb and they sit with AT, JQ, A9 off suit and if you are going to play like that I don't think you can blame people who late reg if you end up out of the money.
I know I'm not a pro and I'm not playing these tournaments as if it's the $1k Thursday Thrilla so it's all for fun, really. If someone wants to sit out after making some good pots - let them. Doesn't really change anything from them becoming super tight from that point either.

Damn, it's all pretty complicated and not easy. I can understand your arguments well. I guess you're right about that. If we have a 5k start stack, it is also something else. Then we don't need to change the time of the late registration. Either way, a small adjustment would be very good. Luckily, I don't have to decide that. I trust that efialtis will make the right decision. Otherwise he can change the change again.  |

I will ask SwC to reduce Late registration (20 minutes) - thanks for the input guys. It's only normal it will take some time before we sort out such details but please also keep in mind I can't ask them to edit stuff every couple of days - we don't want to become a pain, do we. I also think 20 minutes is a good decision. The late registration was really a bit too long and 20 minutes is really fair and should be absolutely enough. Thumbs up for the decision. |

As it looks, the time for the halving has been calculated incorrectly. On https://bitcore.cc/ block #628052 is now specified as possible time point for the halving. So the rewards stay as they are until then. Currently we are only on block #594617.  |

bin nun auch ein wenig am testen. Kann es sein das die Wallet nur 1 Thread nimmt zum minen?
Kann man das ändern das man z.B. 6 Cores/12 Threads nimmt?
Kann man auch einen CPU Miner z.B. CG Miner nehmen?
Du kannst ein wenig mehr aus der CPU holen, wenn du z.B. "generate 6 -1" nimmst. So höher die Zahl, umso stärker wird die CPU genutzt. Kann dir aber leider nicht sagen, was die höchste Zahl ist und ob er dann mehr Cores oder Threads dafür nimmt. Die QT Wallet an sich gibt dafür zu wenig Informationen raus. Außerdem muss man die QT Wallet jedes mal neu Starten, wenn man die "Zahl" ändern will, sonst wird es nicht angenommen. Scheint ein Bug zu sein, in der Wallet, da dies sonst nicht nötig ist. Glaube, CG Miner wird nicht funktionieren, da dies ja ein neuer Algo ist. |

Der Block 628052 ist eine Angabe von Limx Dev. Denke, es wird um den Block herum so weit sein, vielleicht ein paar Blöcke früher oder später. Genauere Informationen dazu habe ich leider auch nicht. Das gute an der Sache ist, die aktuellen MN Rewards bleiben uns deswegen länger erhalten und werden noch nicht halbiert.  |

Ja, das denke ich auch. Trotzdem wollte ich euch darüber informieren. Aber so wie es aussieht, dauert es doch noch ein paar Tage, bis zum Halving von BitCore. Der Countdown ist weg und es wird Block 628052 auf der HP von BitCore angezeigt. Gerade wurde erst Block 593663 gefunden. Dauert also doch noch ein wenig. |

In simple words, Odarhom is just a new update with new features like MasterNodes and some others. It's a mandatory upgrade and you have to update in any case, if you want to continue using BitCore. Download the latest version of your wallet and replace your old wallet with the new version of the wallet. That's all you have to do, but don't forget to create a back up first! |

hab mal die neue qt-wallet runtergeladen und mal alles nun auf meinem mini-pc gestartet
Werde ich wohl auch gleich mal ausprobieren und schauen, wie es läuft. So wie ich gelesen habe, wird der neue Algo wohl auch in BitCore einfließen, wenn alles läuft wie gedacht.* Damit wäre BitCore dann wieder gegen FPGA Miner geschützt. edit* Hast du ja auch schon geschrieben, habe ich zu spät gelesen, sorry. Sieht ja ganz gut aus. Mal schauen, ob ich auch ein paar Blöcke finde. EDIT: Ersten Block gefunden. |
