I have been following Bitcoins for quite some time and have recently bought some, but have only ever needed to read in this forum. So I have just very recently registered as I am interested in the ASICMINER stock and would like to participate in the discussion and now basically wish that instead of reading material on this board for over 6h last night, I had registered first Smiley

Picobit has a point, especially as their bank takes a 10PLN (about 2.40 Euros) off of your wiretransfer to them. Discovered that only after sending them my documents.

No, playing the market implies trying to make money on the price fluctuations by buying and selling.  That is very different from buying a stash of BTC for later use (although I admit that if you do it hoping that the price goes up in the long run, you *are* playing the market - as opposed to if you plan on *spending* you BTC).
I think so, too. Just started by converting a bit of money into BTC and plan on investing it on one of the exchanges, through which I hope I will participate in a successful mining operation.

I have just done this with my german national ID, which has the english words written onto it, and a letter showing that I had moved to that address from an official state registry, but those are easily fakeable anyway.
