Hi! It's nice to know there's another Texas guy on here! Okay so I think I might be renting some time from you but I just wanted to make sure that the settings were done right on Leaserig.net before I really do anything else. Pool 1 GHash stratum+tcp://uk1.ghash.io:3333 Pool 2 Bitminter stratum+tcp://mint.bitminter.com:3333 Is that correct??? Like I said I just want to make sure everything is ready to jive once I have the BTC to rent from you. Thanks and have an awesome day! Looks good to me. Wouldn't you use us1 for ghash? Or did I miss something? You can use either. I have all mine set to us1 but more than half show up on ghash as uk1.

Hi there. I'm wondering what happened with the mining that was already happening since May 19. I haven't received a payment since then.
Thanks!
We are all trying to find that out!

Havent seen a payout on the Saturns in a while.. Is there a problem with the hardware?
|
|

Isnt a mBTC = .001, so 10 mBTC = .01 BTC
and .01 * $522 = $5.22 per unit of 32 GH so it would be around .16 USD per GH. Which seems somewhat unbelievable so i am sure i made some incredibly stupid error somewhere in there.
and about 1.3W/GH? Not super power efficient - this can't be 28 nm tech can it?
Of course the website says out of stock so all this is moot. At the price they posted, i would order some for giggles..

Well and you really have to consider that bitmaintechs are probably not new either - we have seen signs that they hash with them first before they sell them...
[edit] and you will get them faster from allinvain than bitmaintech if you are in the US.. every order i placed direct seems to take the full 2 days before they ship and then it is 2 more days to receive. I have done business with allinvain in the past and you will get your gear quicker..

And even if they are not a scam - you can get equipment from established manufacturers for less money now without having to preorder.

I have 5 ants running through LRP for a 1 TH rig.. seems like any pool that has or starts with a low difficulty cannot maintain a connection to the pool (and a lot of times LeaseRig). Whenever the pool starts at 64 or higher - havent had any problems. And it seems the low difficulty also causes issues with the proxy maintaining the admin connection to LR so the end user gets a message that the rig is not responding. Is there something i can do on my end in the LRP config to mitigate this problem. I have had a number of leases cancel pretty quickly because of the perceived problem with my equipment.

rig turned off suddenly ? still showing off a while now
Ok, once i took mmpool off of the list pools (replaced it with bitminter) - the connection from the proxy to LeaseRig cleared right up. Please be aware you were still mining during this time, it was the connection to LR that was down. I have gone ahead and added 90 minutes to your lease anyway. RoboCoder

rig turned off suddenly ? still showing off a while now
Also please be aware that just because Leaserig may show the miner not responding, it may still be mining - the connection between the proxy and leaserig can be intermittent as well.
|
|
|
Ok. It is not a problem with mmpool, but that the n1.ghash.io is intermittent/latent - so the proxy software is switching back and forth - it seems to loose connection with LeaseRig on switches. I will bring that up to the dev. I am switching you to the US based ghash pool to see if that helps.
I will also extend your lease as compensation.

rig turned off suddenly ? still showing off a while now
I am looking at it now. It appears that the LRP is having trouble maintaing a connection to the mmpool.org. The primary pool is also showing latency, the rigs are in the US, so i am going to switch the primary pool to us based servers rather than Netherlands and see if that solves the problem. Also the LRP software appears to have problems if any of the configured pools have problems even if they are not the primary pool.

|

I fixed the problem.
There seemed to be a problem with your first pool connection. I took that out of the config file and restarted the proxy and boom - worked great.
I see that you canceled the lease though within an hour. I am leaving the miners pointing at your second pool for a bit anyway.
If you do decide to lease the rig again, please pm me and i will add some time in for free. (please allow a little time for me to respond because I am not in front of my computer all the time).

Hi I rented your ROBORIG1 but it says it is off / not responding... Please can you take a look? Regards
Yes. Looking at it now. The LeaseRig Proxy Software has a problem that when the difficulty appears is low and too much traffic is generated due to that, the software has trouble maintaining its pool connections. This also seems to be true even if the pool is not the primary pool (or one of the pools has a lot of latency). I have seen a problem when BTCGuild is one of the pools. So, i know that when these problems are occurring the rig appears to be down from the leaserig point of view. I can edit the pools directly in the proxy (i can't manage my rig through LRP when this happens either). Give me a little bit to try some tests to get your set of pools working optimized. Oh.. and while the problem is actually not my systems, i will be compensating you at 1.5x the time you lost. RoboCoder

Good to hear from you!
Didnt KNC promise to host 3 TH of hashing for us original customers if they didnt deliver on time - in their datacenter using jupiter equipment so we wouldnt lose if they were not able to meet their delivery date.
It's outlined here, but there aren't many details. Any way to check up on this Ragin? Or transfer the account to someone who has time to fill this role? Posted 4/8/14 Hash while you wait.
First it’s important to note that we don’t expect to be late at all everything is on track. It’s just always good to have a backup plan. Second our mega-data center in the north of Sweden is nearing completion so we can give out some more details. All customers of Neptune’s will be able to use completely free of charge our data center to hash for them at 3TH either on our pool or a pool of their choice while they wait for their product to be shipped. The first customers (batch 1) are expected to be hashing in our data center in early June and the last customer will hash in our data center around the last week of June. All the customers will be able to hash in that data center for as long as we are late in shipping your Neptune product, this service will be provided on a best effort basis. We have a 24/7 operations teams in place with multiple redundant internet and power connections and we will aim to have as close to 0 down time as possible.
https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-82Thanks for posting that. SOoooo. It seems that we should be hashing in "early" June regardless of the neptune actually finish/ship date. Good. I actually believe KnC will do their best to honor their agreement. And a second 3 TH, while it won't be worth too much by August, is still certainly better than not getting an extra 3 TH.

Can this also be used for other antminer products? or just only s2?
Only for the Antminer S2, sorry!
