862  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I explain Bitcoin in simple terms to someone? on: January 20, 2018, 06:10:06 PM
With someone, the definition of Bitcoin is too hard to understand so I wonder whether we have a more simple way to explain to them? Huh
If you are explaining to someone with no knowledge in any cryptocurrency, or got no idea at all what cryptocurrency is, you can say that bitcoin is one of many types of cryptocurrwncies and thsese were virtual or digital money. It is like any other investment like the common investment he/she may know like stocks exchange, bitcoin also changes it's value every minute/second.
863  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe the news ? on: January 20, 2018, 05:33:04 PM
Or do you think media is independent ?
Due to improper use of social media, it is hard to believe whether the news that we read or watch are true. I'm not saying that media is no longer reliable but the misuse of social media nowadays by some sort of people without conscience are just affecting it. There were many people whose spreading fake news just for fun and whatever nonswnce reason that they have.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: January 19, 2018, 11:12:10 AM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
There is only one reason for bitcoin to die, but on that reason thre are so many factors which may possibly be a cause. That one reason is, if there would be no more demand, and some of those factors which may cause it are: If there would be new cryptocurrrency or technology that may surpass bitcoin, or if many country will going to banned the use of bitcoin and if the value will go much lower compared to other cryptocurrency.
865  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: January 17, 2018, 11:25:57 PM
[Edited to make it more understandable question]
What if all nation use only a one currency or one global currency?, What will happen to our world?, What is the effect of every nation's or every country economy?, It can make people's unite each other?Any opinion. Cheesy
It is a complex thing if we would have just one currency for the entire globe. Simply because each country was goverened by a different group or leaders, the economy of each country are different.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the benefits of bitcoin? on: January 16, 2018, 08:31:39 AM
what are the benefits you get in bitcoin? And how those it affect your daily living?
Bitcoin has been of my life for the past years. It helps me earn some which i used to support my family. I also use bitcoin to pay my bills, unlike before that i would need to wait on the queue, literally, just to pay my bills. Thanks to bitcoin that it only needs a couple of click and in about a second i'm done paying my bill.
867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: January 15, 2018, 08:39:02 AM
Almost every country has unemployment problems. There are many young boys who are working unemployed. But the days of settling their turn are over. Now, if you wish, you can earn a lot of money sitting in the house. Bitcoin can earn their unemployment by earning. It can be possible to improve the country by improving their lives by earning bitcoin. That is why Bitcoin among all Habetahale to spread the knowledge of the second day will increase the demand for Bitcoin.
Over the years, bitcoin had helped and has been helping many unemployed and even those employed to earn extra income. But i can't say it would 'eliminate' unemployment. It certainly reduced but not totally eliminate unemployment, there were still people who wasn't able to do bitcoin sadly because there are still less fortunate people who can't even afford a device to access the internet so they can't be able to access bitcoin.
868  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: January 14, 2018, 03:11:11 AM
why is it ok for a group of people calling themselves the government to force everyone to buy their services?
if enough armed people refused to pay and told the government to go fuck itself there is nothing they could do.
The reason is because we also benefit on it's purpose, not just the government alone. We pay taxes not just to pay government officials, tax money helps to ensure the roads we travel everyday, as well as the street lights and every public establishments are well-maintained, well not not really well maintained though it still somehow helps the community and it's people to our daily life.

871  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why are people suffering from jealousy ? on: January 13, 2018, 10:59:39 AM
In my social life, I have experienced many issues which stem from jealousy. Most of the people have a tendency for being jealous of successful, hardworking people. What is the reason for this envy .. I want to know your opinion of this issue.
People who feels jealousy are those who diesn't received the affection that they deserved, their lack of self worth that is why they are not being contented for what they have. They want something that others have because of the thought that that person who have it is more happy than him/her.
872  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you care if Billions of people need help? on: January 12, 2018, 08:21:29 AM
I live in a country that taxation is heavy, yet my family has been supporting charity for as long I can remember. That probably counts as caring.
Im so glad that there are still comments like this in this thread, i'am seeing people who doesn't even care at all. A simple caring like giving foods to homeless you found on the streets is really a big deal. It doesn't need a certain thing or amount in order to say that you care. A simple act of kindness is a big factor.
873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Activity points calculator? Done :) on: January 12, 2018, 04:43:57 AM
Here is a little gem of knowledge that's often omitted from all activity calculator discussion: If you make more than 14 posts a fortnight, they don't go to waste. The excess posts will count as additional activity in the future activity periods where you've made less than 14 posts.
I was enlightened now, thanks for the information. This explains the additional count i experienced before. I thought the website just experiencing error and my comment got posted twice. So i guess 14posts per week is not a limitation, the excess will still be used on the future. I've been thinking to post just the exact 14 post so that others won't get wasted, i understand now.
874  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: January 11, 2018, 11:16:36 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpW_KMHlAmo

Why borrow dollars and then pay back by printing them?

Why take the long way around?
We cannot just simply print a currency. Printing too much money will cause inflation. Just like on products/goods, if the supply increases, the value of that product will decrease. It was the same thing with our currency, if the government prints too much money, it's value will have a lower value because all prices in our economy will increase.
875  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what is the definition of success? on: January 11, 2018, 10:09:30 AM

being rich? have a good relationship? become a company boss? successful completion of high education?? or there' another definition of success? tell me about you opinion.
For me, the definition of success is doing something you love and being happy. Any hardship will pay off and you'll feel succesfull when you will able to do the thing that will make you happy and a will make you a better person.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the bitcoin price determined? on: January 11, 2018, 08:58:21 AM
I have just been recently trying to know how our legend crypto (Bitcoin) price determined. I really need to know more about this. Pls how is the price determined from time to time?
On my own understanding, bitcoin price depends on the supply and demand on the market, the more people that invests to it, the higher the price it will get, and when there will be many widthrawals of bitcoin, it's value will het lower. But there are also some instances that are being considered. You can research the web to understand it better.
877  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate a person to work? on: January 11, 2018, 04:59:15 AM
In a work place incentives work best.

Sellers who are paid based upon commission might work harder than someone on salary since that person might feel that they're guaranteed the pay?
To motivate a person to work we must give credits and appreciate the work they've done.  A simple 'good job' is one great motivation.  Just being able to acknowledge the job well done.  Also another motivation is a raise on pay.  A healthy workplace and workmates and a good boss.
I agree, showing the employee that you care and appreciate the work and effort the're putting at work is a big thing for that person. It will boost his morale and will motivate him to do better because he knows that he was being appreciated. A simple 'good job', 'patbon the back', and some token may help to motivate someone.
878  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: January 10, 2018, 10:58:07 PM
My bank closed my account last year for no reason, and all money in my account was gone. I argued with the bank, even contacted the local government, no use. My bank just stated that "Pursuant to the CMA Disclosure and Agreement, 'THE BANK, at its discretion, may elect not to accept an account, terminate the account agreement and the account agreements of any related parties'. Both parties to the agreements have the right to end the relationship at any time and neither is obliged to provide a basis for such a decision to terminate". No single word explaing the termination was given to me. I contacted all banking lawyers online, and they were all representing the bank, not the customers. The money I lost can buy a new Mercedes. However, banks around the world now are too powerful. They are too big to fail. When you open an account in the United States, and probably also many other countries, you voluntarily give up the rights to sue the bank under their arbitrage clause. Even worse, they define the financial laws and enforce them. They can close your account, freeze and steal your property and evict you from your house. The more money you deposit into your bank account, the more you are helping the evil. I'm glad to see Bitcoin is changing all of these. Let banks die!
It's not that we can't trust banks. It's their security system that is not reliable. There has been many cases regarding atm skimming and hacking which makes people lost their trust. The good thing about bitcoin is that, i can say that i can trust in it's security because it has 2 security features both are based on cryptographic protocols which makes it hard to crack or hack.
879  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Hanggang san nyo tingin na bababa si bitcoin? on: January 10, 2018, 03:25:13 PM
Bitcoin is showing downward trend today. Angry Angry Angry

Hanggang san nyo tingin na bababa si bitcoin?
Malaki ang posibilidad na bumaba pa ito hanggang 600k pero based sa speculation ng ubang traders tataas ulit ang value ng bitcoin bago matapos ang January. I agree with this dahil sa darating na payday ay may ilan akong colleagues na nagbabalak maginvest muli sa bitcoin and i think most people will do the same they are coping with the holiday expenses.
880  Economy / Economics / Re: Many new rich people are created from Bitcoin on: January 10, 2018, 10:48:43 AM
bitcoin prices continue to rise as this is one of the causes of increased bitcoin users, whose goal is to change a much better standard of living, give your feedback on this?
I agree, and these people were those who has been holding on with their bitcoin for a long time and when it's value suddenly highrocketed last 2017 they instantly get rich. Imagine if you'd invested in bitcoin a few years ago when it was just less than $100, we might be also rich by now.
