204  Economy / Service Discussion / Check Your Bitcoin Mixer Taint .. avoid JAIL on: November 30, 2015, 02:35:58 AM
Hi folks,

Just a reminder that when using a Bitcoin mixer you should ALWAYS measure your taint.  Taint is defined as the % of funds received by an address that can be traced back to another address.  So if you sent from address A to a bitcoin mixer, and the mixer forwarded those funds to address B, how easily can the funds in address B be traced back to address A ? In simple terms, did the mixer do its job?

You can measure taint here: https://blockchain.info/taint/<bitcoin address>

Most mixers do a VERY bad job of mixing your Bitcoins.  Be very careful when using a mixer and always check your taint.  Reviews of mixers can be found at http://BTCMixers.com

I personally recommend https://CoinMixer.net as my favorite.

211  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Forgotten passphrase Multibit wallet holding 17btc | Best offer on: November 04, 2015, 04:41:56 AM
the password is under 50 bits of entropy .. i could crack this in 2-4 weeks and will split 50/50 with the OP. I will not pay for the privelege to do so however :-)
212  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Forgotten passphrase Multibit wallet holding 17btc | Best offer on: November 03, 2015, 02:18:04 AM
I could break if it's under 90 bits of entropy (I have a large network of comps ...)

Let me know how long it is, how many numbers, caps ,etc

If it's more than 90 bits of entropy you're gonna need NSA level capability!
213  Economy / Auctions / Re: Plinkopot.com - For sale - Featured on Moneypot.com - Bitcoin Plinko on: October 28, 2015, 02:37:12 AM

214  Economy / Auctions / Re: Sale of SatoshiQuiz.com on: October 28, 2015, 01:55:49 AM
5btc is a fake bid .. he will just waste your time
215  Economy / Auctions / Re: Plinkopot.com - For sale - Featured on Moneypot.com - Bitcoin Plinko on: October 24, 2015, 03:50:00 AM
overpriced. lower initial bid amount and I might be interested

I'll lower the initial bid to 8 BTC, but for anything less than that, I'll keep it.  8 BTC would be less than 9 months of estimated income.

can you prove income?
216  Economy / Auctions / Re: Sale of SatoshiQuiz.com on: October 23, 2015, 05:03:52 PM
I bid 1 btc
