543  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Where do I get free Bitcoin? The maintained list of verified free Bitcoin Sites. on: February 15, 2014, 06:23:05 PM
freebitcoinwin added to the list.

I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with freebitcoinwin, but here is what freebitco.in says about it

Quote
Websites like www.freebitcoinwin.com that look like ours have nothing to do with us and they are most likely phishing attempts to grab your freebitco.in password. Please refrain from using them.

What I said elsewhere:

There are lots of faucets which rip-off the scripts/look of other faucets. Doesn't make them phishers... perhaps just lazy.
One should of course use different passwords on every site they use... and be careful about supplying email addresses or any other personal information ( which this site doesn't ask for ).

I have reports from some that this site does payout, but I can remove it from the list until I hear more reports or get a payout myself.

Thanks for the feedback.

I wasn't giving my opinion on freebitcoinwin, only pasting what I saw on freebitco.in. Most of the faucet look the same anyway.

I do, however, have a problem with freebitcoinwin - list of my referrals is empty and I know for certain that at least one person registered using my referral link.

Can anyone confirm that they have referrals on freebitcoinwin?

I have the same issue, and say this message today.

544  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] AdBit.co - Advertising platform, better than clicks/views! on: February 14, 2014, 09:03:23 AM
I have a suggestion,

I would love to see a history tab to see payments of ads, sometimes people only purchase an ad for a few hours so we just get a portion of the sale. It would be nice to see the actual amount being received.

Is there anyway to tell if your P2pool actually hit a block?  Will the log file show anything like this if a local miner found one?

Are you using the default front end or one of the other front ends like extended or one I am using (can't remember the name), the extend front end has a list of last blocks, that list shows you the blocks you are working on. If no blocks appear then you are not working on any.

This front end is quite nice. https://github.com/hardcpp/P2PoolExtendedFrontEnd

This is the one P2Pool.org used.

Have a look at my frontend - p2pool.smoothrunnings.ca:9332 - I like it much better than the Exteneded Front End.

Love it!

549  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MiniFaucet Script (a MyFaucet replacement) on: January 23, 2014, 02:29:05 AM
Looks like there is a issue now with recaptcha. Seems that all the sites using this script aren't loading the recaptcha to get a dispense. Would it be possible to add a option in the config to choose recaptcha or solve media or another to ensure we have a backup.

Adsense just disabled my account for a violation without explanation, I'm currently trying to contact them and figure out what I did wrong. Needless to say i lost a bunch of money since they never payed out. Beware

558  Economy / Services / [LOGO CONTEST] HotSwap - 0.2BTC - Complete on: December 23, 2013, 09:56:42 AM
Hello! I am looking for a logo that I would use for my faucet HotSwap.co and I would also like to use it for personal use on Steam and other forums since my handle is alias.

I am providing a 0.2BTC bounty/reward for the development of a logo for my handle and site. I would like options with both the name and without the name and options with a BTC and without.

I do reserve the right to decline to use any of these logos, however, if that happens I will disperse the .2BTC reward to all applicants on a pro capita basis. (some of this message was borrowed from flowdab's contest)

Escrow can be used if requested

Thanks and good luck. The contest will end on Dec. 31st, 2013 at 23:59 PST.

EDIT: Pretty much free reign with colour and design. As for size I would prefer a higher quality image that I can adjust to sizes as I see fit. Any other questions just let me now!

EDIT 2: Loving these Logo's so far, Keep it up!

EDIT 3: Keep them coming!

EDIT 4: I have chosen a Winner... AirFlame Congrats! I will PM you shortly. Thank you everyone for your submissions!

I have been having some issues with the "Cancel all current orders". It doesn't seem to work, I always have to go to cryptsy and cancel them all manually. Just so you know!
