https://mintcoin-dice.com now has a betting bot available to IRC users on freenode! It's sitting in #mintcoin and #mintcoindice To get started, you'll need to sign up and get an API key at http://mintcoin-dice.comThen: /msg mintcoindice help for a list of commands. Commands available are: getbalance, roll <chance> <amount> All commands must be preceded with an API key. For example: /msg mintcoindice your_api_key roll 50.5 10 This will bet 10 MINT at a chance of 50.5%. The bot will return with whether you won or lost, as well as profit/loss associated with the bet, and your new balance after the bet.

This looks promising ... MintBay Mintbay looks awesome! Another great achievement dev you are the soul of this coin Mintbay has been developped by a community member. Sorry for the confusion. MintBay is a great idea. Like ebay but using mint as currency. It should be very popular. Mintbay looks absolutely fantastic I have to say. Wish it was open source!

What's the status on this now?
R3wt said the site was hacked and the coins were stolen, in reality R3wt is the one that stole the coins. *sigh* why am I not surprised...

All sounds wishy-washy. What EXACTLY is the project?

I feel like there needs to be a concerted effort to move mintcoin discussion onto the mintcointalk forum. Better than everyone just posting in this one thread.

I wanted to let others know that I am very impressed by the Customer Service from Vistbit.com. I was getting the "Proxies" error, and also a site that I was advertising disappeared. So when I sent an email to Ian / Leckey, he responded and fixed both issues in under 20 minutes!!
Can't say that about most sites.
Good job Ian! Norm
Thanks for your kind words!

I do really like the whole Proof-of-stake concept. Environmentally speaking, if bitcoin is a nightmare, mintcoin is a dream.

Max bet increased to 5000 MINT
Will be increased again to 10000 MINT in the near future

*bump* any update on this?
For the truly OCD people there are two choices that are much simpler than modifying the bitcoin client: 1) write a C/C++ wallet cleaner utility using the matching Berkeley_DB libraries 2) do db_backup/clean/db_restore using Berkeley_DB utilities. The backup format is textual and the wallet database structure is very simple, so the "clean" step can be written in any of the widely known text processing languages like awk or Perl. Remember that when using Berkeley_DB utilities you may need to create an appropriate DB_CONFIG file to be really on the safe side. This was discussed before on this forum. I think I'll opt to just stay mildly irritated by the rogue account, rather than risk breaking everything! Thanks though

And to add, currently I've got two transactions, with 4 confirmations each, both have not yet been forwarded, so no callbacks sent.

Think you've got the wrong definition of "PTC" in this context...
