It's not illegal. That's good news.
Remember, the IRS only taxes Americans. There are 248 nations.
But the USA is the richest nation on the planet...by quite some way. This will have a negative effect on Bitcoin. I nearly spat out my coffee!

Edit: Also, why are you using cURL here? Seems needless?
I'm confused at the cURL too, perhaps it's supposed to be sending a second notification via a web URL too but that line or two to setup the cURL correctly is missing?.. The code sends the mail() and then passes the same data to cURL straight after. and $ch isn't even set anywhere....

CleverPuffin.com now also accepts Mintcoin. As well as Vertcoin, Litecoin and (obviously) Bitcoin.

What I'd do, is store transactions in a database table. Check the tx hash of the transaction hitting the callback, if it doesn't exist in the database insert it and send the email. If it DOES exist in the database, just either ignore it, or update it with a different confirmation count.

Does anyone have a pre-compiled Linux X64 binary for CentOS for cpu mining? I have several servers I could run on if I could find the software...
I couldn't ever get vertcoind to compile on CentOS. I did however, reimage the server to Ubuntu and it worked like a charm. Might be an option for you.

i read that on last weeks / months blockchain receive API has being very slow, usually taking more than 1 hour to give the callback.
Anyone has experienced this?
Yes I've experienced across 2 sites of mine that implement it. It's annoying when it happens, and sometimes it lasts longer than 1 hour. It's not perfect, but for a free service which is easy to integrate, it's not bad.

Loads of reports coming through today of genuine users getting flagged as using proxies when they're not. I'm investigating.

I've been accepting (and continue to do so) 0 confirmation transactions for what must be about 2 years now. I've never had any problems whatsoever. Ultimately it comes down to the transaction value, and the service in question. As an example, I use 0 confirmations to accept payment for web hosting. If it doesn't confirm or there's a double spend, I can simply cancel their account. No big deal.

This service not for mining...
I didn't say it was for mining did I?

You seem to think I've attacked your integrity in some way. I haven't. You want to provide a legitimate source of information for new users, fair enough. But if I were a new user, I'd rather find myself browsing weusecoins - a much more credible resource and free of ads.

Delays are not unusual and can be SO frustrating when it occurs. The bigger issue though, is when blockchain.info goes down. Then you don't get paid at all, because input addresses can't be generated for users to send funds to.
But all things considered, I'd say it's better than coinbase's merchant tools.
