121  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: December 02, 2019, 02:58:25 PM
the reason I get is that they will refill on Monday ...
Not sure how you came up with that, but Yobit doesn't plan anything ahead. Yobit will refill the signature campaign wallet when they have generated enough profit or when they think it's the right time to refill.

Keep posting as usual and everything will be sorted out eventually.
122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: December 02, 2019, 02:05:12 PM
Check https://coinmarketcap.com/ exchanges. The thing CMC announced is you shouldn't rate them by trading volume and instead by liquidity. The list changes quite a lot when you change the filters...
Liquidity can be manipulated too. It doesn't take all that much effort for an exchange to clutter its own order books with many buy orders providing fake buy support that will be withdrawn the moment the price is inching closer.

It's a cat and mouse game between shitcoin exchanges that only cheat and Coinmarketcap that "tries" to report accurate volume and pricing data. If generating fake volume is no longer effective, exchanges will fake liquidity.

Exchanges will do everything needed to rank up and gain a spot in the top 10 exchanges.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best copy trading platforms? on: December 01, 2019, 02:15:15 PM
My skill will never raise and my knowledge will have zero number.
I completely agree with you on that one, but most people have desperately been trying to improve themselves but without any success, so this is a last resort option for them to make profit. It's sad but true.

The general idea is that if they copy the trades of those who seem to do well, they will do well too, but this success is very short lived and depends on luck. If you depend on luck with trading, you will end up broke.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a question on: December 01, 2019, 01:41:42 PM
we are desperately in need of peer to peer exchange after the hack that happened with the exchanges all these years.
I don't see that demand for decentralized exchanges. I certainly have seen a lot of people talk about it here and on other discussion platforms. We shouldn't look at what people are saying, but look at what people do.

If we look at the volume and liquidity on decentralized exchanges, it's still very poor, and it has been like that for years now. It means that there isn't as much demand for decentralized exchanges as people seem to think.

we have lost count how many people suffered because of this
Unfortunately that has not lead to a change in how people use crypto because centralized exchanges hold more coins than before.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your price prediction of binance coin? on: December 01, 2019, 11:40:43 AM
hmmm .. I think the future of Binance will still be bright because it is now one of the most influential exchanges for the crypto community.
An exchange being influential or popular hasn't ever managed to hold that position for too long. Do you remember Poloniex and Bittrex? Both were at one point what Binance is today.

Poloniex on a good day generated 200k BTC volume. It was pure madness. Where is Poloniex today? There are days where they generate less volume than Yobit. It will continue to lose popularity until they shut down.

Bittrex then became the largest exchange by volume to not long after that lose popularity in a similar fashion. I do expect Binance to follow the same steps as they plan to become more compliant.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin could reach $1,000 in a couple of years from now on: December 01, 2019, 11:04:16 AM
Litecoin at 1000 USD means Bitcoin price would be 60-70K USD, which is not possible in the next 5 years! So, Litecoin has zero possibility to hit 1000 USD in the next 5 years!
Bitcoin can easily reach such figures, but no one can guarantee you what Litecoin will be doing. IMHO, Litecoin doesn't rock any features that other altcoins don't, which isn't a good position to be in.

If we also look at where Litecoin bottomed at after the massive crash in 2018, then it's 50% below its 2013 high. How can that possibly be a good thing? It's just another pump and dump coin you have to get in and out fast.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PLATINCOIN REVIEW! YOUR THOUGHT? on: November 30, 2019, 02:56:54 PM
Scammers will always scam until they are exposed, we have seen this happen in ICO they use fake people to scam people and they do that over and over again until they are exposed,
Agreed. It happens throughout the whole space and started well before ICO's were a thing. Interestingly, a lot of these scams are operared by a few entities who spread their risk in terms of getting busted.

If one project gets busted, they have like 10 other projects that are up and running generating them basically free income. The same applies to signal groups where most groups are operated by just a few entities. It's so bad.

we should never trust these people even if they say they are sorry this time it's real, or even if they deny this, we should be up against these people by exposing them.
Common sense. People need to read into how to use this characteristic most well thinking people are naturally gifted with.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Problems in Bitcoin on: November 30, 2019, 01:52:24 PM
I don't know whats up with Binance since I haven't used that exchange for while, but I am pretty sure they aren't "harassing" anyone or else we all would have heard about it.
It's very likely just fud as always. It's not really surprising considering the fact that we're going through a bit of a bear market, which has always lead to all types of fud to pop up left and right. People should ingore it.

If people sees those faux information and falls for it, they are to be blamed first!
Agreed. Common sense is what people here lack. If people had common sense they wouldn't fall for fud or lame ass investment schemes that are obvious scams. Greed and stupidity is what this market is known for.

Fud continues to be a thing because people fall for it. Similarly, scams continue to be a thing because people fall for it. I don't think it will change, ever. If people in stocks don't change, why would people in crypto do? They are more stupid.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, What did you buy with your bitcoins on Black Friday? on: November 30, 2019, 12:11:29 PM
I was expecting to spend some coins but it seems that the bearish vibe in the market has left a bad taste in my mouth. I prefer to hodl through for now and spend whenever the price has broken through $10k again.

I know that the prices can sink even lower and that spending now could be good, but it just doesn't feel good. Spending coins to see the price go up later on isn't something I and with me, many others don't look forward to.

I am aware that I can replace spent coins, but that's just not my vision of how money should be used.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is big news for Germany Bitcoiners out there! on: November 30, 2019, 11:47:44 AM
When the government is positive with crypto, this is always a good news, imagine if crypto will be widely accepted in Germany, that would really help to increase the adoption and that will be an example for other countries to realize that its possible to embrace crypto as long as its properly regulated.
I wouldn't really take that too serious because everything in crypto depends on the cycle it is in. If the cycle is bullish then you have a strong point there, but with how bearish the market currently is, I don't see it happen.

I think it's more likely that we will lose a percentage of adoption now the price is going down continuously. Businesses capitulate, people do, miners do, and so on. The space has to bleed in order to grow during the next bull cycle.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bakkt Hits New All-Time High Volume but Analyst Pours Cold Water on Bitcoin Bull on: November 29, 2019, 06:07:39 PM
It's much easier to have cash settled instruments approved than those that are backed by Bitcoin. It's safe to say that they aren't looking forward to more of the same delays and legal obstacles.

I expect more financial institutions to bet on cash settled instruments rather than Bitcoin settled instruments, so don't be too shocked when there will be dozens of platforms offering the same type of trading features.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Drama Continues as OkEx CEO Calls out Shanghai Office Claim on: November 29, 2019, 05:25:57 PM
The exchanges are increasingly fiercely competitive, when they cannot compete in a healthy way, tricks are used. It's hard to know who is telling the truth, but I think the ones most affected are the users.
How are users exactly affected? I don't think the users are much affected unless they somehow lose money, which I haven't seen happen yet as result of competition between exchanges.

Competition (no matter how nasty it may seem from outside) is always a good thing because it leeds to better and cheaper services. Let these exchanges bitch fight, as long as we don't suffer it's not our problem.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $16M in Stolen Ethereum from Upbit Were Just Transferred on: November 29, 2019, 05:10:42 PM
Sorry for everyone who had funds there. This is why the development of decentralized exchange is important: to minimize the counterparty risk.
People have to be sorry for having trusted an exchange as wallet, which it isn't. Time on time again will we see it happen that people despite believing that the next time will be different, the exchanges will still get hacked.

Decentralized exchanges aren't going to help much because they can't even remotely match the speed and convenience centralized exchanges provide, which is why people will keep using them.

Decentralized exchanges are inherently slower than anything that's centralized and it will not change. No matter how much they improve throughout the years, it's not going to be enough to make people finally switch.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2019, 12:46:49 PM
Some women might be too busy doing household chore.
That cracked me up hard.  Cheesy

I don't think there are many household women that are interested in anything but what's playing out at home. From there I think it's better to ignore that group women and focus on the more ambitious group of women.

I have some ambitious women in the family myself and they are only focused on completing whatever they study for, and then get the job they want. As far as I know, none of these women are into trading or other financial market stuff.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 29, 2019, 12:04:18 PM
He created something that will change the traditional process or platform and it will be hard to know who will be interested on him to support or to distract him as he invented something useful at the same threatening to others bad activities.
It was just an experiment when Satoshi created Bitcoin. He knew all too well that Bitcoin could just as easily have failed because the demand wasn't there or for some other reasons we will never learn.

I like his open mind while if you look at how today's perma bulls think and talk, it's like they are blind to anything else that's happening in this space. Never ignore an industry that could potentially help Bitcoin become better too.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 ways to recover your stolen or lost crypto on: November 28, 2019, 04:56:27 PM
Imagine, someone lost crypto worth about $500 USD and he took legal action, reporting to police, had a lawyer and waited everything to be processed that took so much time and at the end he realized that he has lost more than the $500 cause he needed to pay the expenses during the search of his stolen money.
In some cases it's not necessarily about getting your money back, but about justice. I would gladly cover the legal expenses to see hacker/thief be forced to pay a hefty fine or be sent to prison to rot for a while.

It's not fair to have someone like that enjoy the money you worked for. If people were to ignore reporting small theft amounts it basically means that the thieves win and have even more incentive to steal only smaller amounts.
137  Economy / Speculation / Re: MasterLuc new long term prediction on: November 28, 2019, 02:39:43 PM
OR use a better plan. Use dollar cost averaging, and keep buying the dip.
If people keep buying the dip they keep losing out during a market cycle where the price continues to trend down. You have to set yourself some targets and buy the dips there instead of buying every dip blindly hoping it will be the last one.

We will have many more dips and most dips moving forward will turn out to not be the right one to buy into. If you buy each dip you are not utilizing your money wisely, which is why I recommend people to have a plan or buying schedule
138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin readh 10000usd this year again? on: November 28, 2019, 02:17:43 PM
I don't think it's realistic at this point. If we're completely honest and look at the chart, it doesn't look good. Yes, we have seen a $1k increase from $6.5k, but that after we have gone down from $10k, so it's just another bounce.

Currently I am not buying because I am waiting for lower levels to be reached and dollar cost average into the market from there. If we go up from here that's fine too because I already have enough coins to be happy with.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any clue why whales are pumping shit coins at DEX? on: November 27, 2019, 09:43:02 PM
I don't think they have even the slightest idea on how to read a market. You just need a bunch of followers to pump the price of a coin up quite a bit.
Agreed. It reminds me of when I entered crypto for the first time and had no clue about anything within this space. I was tempted to buy into such a coin myself but I'm glad that I didn't because it seemed too good to be true.

If you think logically, the price of a coin doesn't pump because of the group "pumping" it, but because the people buying the coin, which then attracts even more noobs that get excited and buy as many coins as possible. It's the sad reality.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about BlockV (vee) on: November 27, 2019, 09:07:02 PM
An active team did not really bring a good image for their project/platform, i already see a lot of projects who also always attend to the event or community discussion about the blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Having an active team is no longer a selling point for a project because there are too many of them right now, where you also have to factor in the fact that having an active team doesn't equal success by default.

Nowadays it's extremely hard for a project to gain ground within the crypto space, especially when you aren't exponentially better than the rest.... being slightly better isn't going to do anything for you because it's not enough to make people switch.
