Every 1200 to 1300 watt will produce about 4500 BTUs

Good Luck!

Nice to see you are going to be adding in the AMD support at some point this week. Already using though ethminer. Just one question regarding share submitting to pool. Why so many shares being submitted in less than 5 min submitted over 200+ with only 20MH running and looking at it was submitting shares every half sec or little longer. Is this based on difficulty that is set on pool? If so might want to have a variable one based on hash speed.

Well, actually our pool provides variable difficulty, which is exactly the reason you're submitting so many shares. The pool provides you the hashrate, based on your hardware, in order to let you submit shares constantly (which at first may look odd for GPU miners that are used to constant difficulty on other pools).

Our variable difficulty is mainly designed for those, who have lesser mining power (e.g. CPU-miners), but still want to mine Ethereum. In the case of our pool, CPU-miners can submit shares in each block, because the pool provides them with lower hashrate and lets them submit shares and make profit.

And also a problem I have come across on pool is that mining with say 70MH pool never seen more than 45 to 48MH at most. Any idea as to what the cause of this is? Reason I ask this is other pools are fine or very little between actual mining power and pool report.

I guess you are talking about the difference between your hashrate that you see in the miner and your hashrate, displayed on the account dashboard on the website.

The reason for this difference is that the dashboard hashrate is based on the shares that you submitted, while the miner shows the hashrate, based on your hardware. They simply use different formulas, so it doesn't affect your efficiency in any way and the pool uses your hardware completely.

"Our variable difficulty is mainly designed for those, who have lesser mining power (e.g. CPU-miners), but still want to mine Ethereum. In the case of our pool, CPU-miners can submit shares in each block, because the pool provides them with lower hashrate and lets them submit shares and make profit."

I was thinking about ordering 6 graphics cards, a rig and using your software but then I found this =(

Is it still possible to use your software and pool with 150 MH/s rig? If not would you be interested in setting up a special port for high MH/s rigs?

I'm only getting 4 MH/s with a 970 mining ETH on Windows 10. I've tried several drivers including 347.52 which everyone swears by, but it doesn't work with Minergate for me. GPU isn't available to mine with when using that driver. I should be getting at least 10 MH/s. Does anyone know if it's a problem with Windows 10 or do I need a certain driver that I haven't tried? If anyone can help me I'll give you some BTC.

Hi there!

Have you contacted our support team? Please submit your ticket here: https://minergate.com/support

You can try to change your GPU settings for OpenCL, but you should be careful: https://forum.minergate.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&p=3913#p3913

Hi,

I Just picked up a copy of minergate, seems like a nice piece of software but I'm having a similar problem with Windows 10, I believe. I'm running a 980ti only getting 3.5 MH/s mining ETH. I have also tried that driver but my computer does not accept it and I can not install it at all. It just says no compatible Hardware found.

I've tried asking in chat in minergate with no luck and I've done research for hours online and still no luck=(

Thankfully I found this thread=)

I personally believe the price will go up but it will take time and it will be slowly, but slow is better.

Perhaps this will be a bit more incentive...

If you find a block before the halving, I will send you 2BTC.

Good luck!

I did a video post =)

Well guys were getting down to the final 24 hours before the countdown, so let's see if we can't stir up a block party and plan it for later today Cool

Let's get that block guys and to start us off I'm going to rent a 100 th for the next 24 hours. (in like 3H)

Johnny isn't there still a promotion in place?

Thx Phil, that's really cheap just to have one as a backup. Will it run on 120 or only 240?

Hey guys been really busy lately and been in and out of town, so I haven't been paying much attention to the pool and it looks like we're still stuck =((

So I propose we start us a block party and get this thing unstuck!!!

To get us started I rented 100 th for 24 hours Cheesy

Come join the party and let's beat this block  Cheesy

@PPOC: you most certainly did give it the old college try Smiley.  Let's find that block shortly!

@LASERminer: Thank you for your support, and your generous gesture.  I certainly appreciate the donations, and you are right, those funds are indeed used to help support the promotions I run (as well as server costs).  You are also correct in that I've funded every promotion out of pocket.  LOL... I am definitely not Satoshi, nor do I have millions of coins (or dollars for that matter since I didn't win the PowerBall last night Tongue).  I have, however, been lucky enough to make some coin in the past few years I've been mining, and during this pool's existence.  Because of the pool's luck thus far, I've been fortunate.  Just to give you an idea, since the pool has started I've personally spent well over 75BTC in rentals and close to 10BTC in promotions and contest giveaways.  I have received just over 1.3BTC in fees and donations.  I'm not stating these numbers in an attempt to boast, but rather to show the kind of dedication I have to support the pool and all of the miners who are putting their faith, and their dollars, here.  Besides the coins, I have spent many hours of time ensuring the best mining experience.  That comes in the form of writing code to enhance the mining software, setting up servers in multiple geographies, ensuring redundancies of the coin daemons and database, providing local stratum servers, fighting off DDoS attacks, and more.

So, please, let me say a heartfelt thank you to all of you.  It is because of you that this pool exists and continues to grow.  I look forward to the future and am glad you are all along with me for the ride Smiley.

Johnny you definitely go above and beyond for us here at the pool and that's why you've won my hashing power =) I'm sure I speak for others when I say we're extremely grateful for all the hard work and dedication you put into the pool! I am personally so glad that I found you and that you made Bitcoin mining extremely fun instead of just a piece of Hardware running in my closet.

TY
Rozo

Hey Jonny -- thanks for talking with me earlier today...

I just checked the miner status -- and right on target -- I sure wish I had used that as a definer all this time -- it would have saved me a LOT of mental anguish -- lol...

Are there any contests planned for this weekend???
Glad to help.

As for contests/promotions...

Well, today marks the 142 running of the Kentucky Derby.  So, let's have a little promotion to honor it Smiley

Everyone who solves a block today will get 1BTC.

You may also pick a horse.  If your horse wins and you've solved a block, you will get an additional 1.42BTC bonus.  You don't need to actually solve a block to make a pick, but you do need to solve a block to get any BTC.

The running list of picks will be maintained on the 2nd post of this thread located here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1330452.msg13576670#msg13576670

Good luck!

Awesome idea for a contest!!!  Thank you for making it fun for everyone!!!  My pick is "Oscar Nominated" for the winner.  Good luck to everyone!!!!
78  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [100TH] [PPLNS 0.5%] Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) Win up to 3 BTC! on: May 06, 2016, 07:52:30 PM
Not sure what to think this morning so far I wake up to a block on the pool =) but one of my miners is dead anybody know how to fix it it's,  just 5 months old?

Granite all I've done so far is turn the power on and off about 8 or 9 times.

so then I came upstairs and I can get to the dashboard  but under status it's not doing anything =(

so now I'm trying to reboot it 3 or 4 times. nothing

The next thing I can think of is to go and plug it for an hour or two and then try it.

it could be the power supply but I seriously doubt it considering it's running right now.

when I was watching it I saw one of the lights on the hashing board flash red just for a second and then go away.

and it's not beeping at me and there's no red light but I'm going down to check again.

any ideas guys?

Is it an S7? Maybe try flashing the sd card from image: https://cnshop.bitmain.com/files/download/Tools%20and%20Instructions%20to%20Image%20SD%20card.zip

Holy smokes thank you so much you helped me fix it!!  Grin Grin Grin I didn't think it worked. I actually did it the other day, but I didn't actually try to unplug it for about 5 minutes and then restart it until now and booom all 3 hashing border are running!

I noticed the frequency reset to the 600 instead of the 700 like it was before should I change it back?

Any ideas why all this actually happened?

Hi guys,

Finally got a couple of the images I had talked about last night.

To clarify -- these are conceptual drawings of what the movie would look like.

The first one is of Luke Skywalker (prior to them having cast an actor to play that role).

https://www.dropbox.com/s/tkdf248ozzw5ikc/Luke%20Skywalker%20artist%20rendition.pdf?dl=0

And this one is of R2-D2 in a desert scene.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/jssugv9tdhhjt23/244386.jpg?dl=0

We have a bunch more -- but they're way too big to make electronic copies of...

Those are totally awesome thanks for showing us!!!
