I also looked at this coin and was like hmmmm...... I dunno.... This is usually a good indication not to invest so I was glad to see you agree too now it feels like my strong suspicion are confirmed. I was also thinking the cap for the coin was insanely high and that the coin would just drop to 1 satoshi really fast and hyper-inflation wrecks it. Too many coins means less value. If you want to use tons of coins I am not saying don't I am just saying there is a limit untill your coin is so common it sells at 1 satoshi. I think 1 or even 2 0's should be knocked off that figure of 256,000,000 so its 25,600,000 or 2,560,000. |

Nevermind I answered my own question. Startcoin has not paid out it's weekly dividends since may... So why is this still active may I just ask ?
It is not even busy nothing is going on there are the same projects there and never change. I don't know who is actually funding them.
A renewed beta version of the site has just been launched 2 weeks ago (the old site was hacked in May and closed off). They are now fixing bugs and integrating StartCoin, so we should see it come back on track in the near future. That is a long time though that they waited before putting up a new website. It is an interesting idea so I hope they sort it out soon because I would like to see how the investing goes and I like that you can buy in without breaking the bank you need 100 startcoins. Not too bad. |

It it worth reviving this coin ? I have looked at it before and saw you guys advertising it. I don't like the pos rate lol. Maybe have a high POS for a few blocks to encourage new investors ? Or a high mine block reward in the early stages.

I'm suprised piggy coin has lasted this long. It started off well but it died down and I thought it was dead. Well it was, then all of a sudden it was trading again but I did notice people advertising the exchanges on which piggy was on and for the last few months it has been doing really well. Now the market has crashed and gone from buy 4k sell 1.5-2k to buy 1k sell 0.5k Brilliant..... the staking is small - even at 5000% ( which is per annum NOT daily as a lot of people thought ) - but its still a reasonably good system ... though i do admit - a bigger reward would have been nicer for the staking even though that should never continue for long periods of time ... i agree with some of the proposals that greedyjohn and josh have put forward - yet limxdev is scouring the code from what ive been told ... so much for contact mate ... if the seednodes are to participate as the main source of the seeding - the code needs to be changed to force that into effect ... apart from the reward schedule of the coin - everyone NEEDS to understand that ALL of this is experimental to say the very least about it ( whao - experimental? ... yup - experimental ... even bitcoin - the mother of all coins - is STILL basing their code on experimental code ) ... so please be aware that anything that comes from this is massive bonus - and slagging the coin or devs because of 'this' or 'that' will do nothing for the progression of the project - or the incentives for the devs to continue working on it ... we have all put in a great deal of time and effort - and when donations were asked - so far have nothing back from the community that so 'caringly' drag the project through the dirt ... it costs money - REAL MONEY - to bring forth a backend ( i say this from my perspective only here ) to solidify the backbone for the network ... and the 'community' want everything - including the hipos ( which agreed have issues ) for free with no intention of giving back ... nice one 'community' ... thats a good way to band together ... so for those who are not interested in seeing progression here - dump your coins and we ( those that DO want to see this move forward ) will pick them all up ... easy ... im off to work for night shift again - so will be back in a day or so - due to two consecutive shifts one after another ... night all ... #crysx Wow...
