1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Finals. on: February 06, 2022, 01:45:03 PM
After the fight for the third place is officially owned by Cameroon, now is the time to wait for the final match between Egypt vs Senegal for the champion of Afcon. I predict that Senegal will be the champion. My reason is because Senegal is unbeaten in this competition and between duo Liverpool Mane is more productive than salah,  If Egypt has won this competition many times, maybe this is the time for Senegal

Chelsea have offered defender Antonio Rudiger a new contract. According to the source, the "aristocrats" are willing to pay the German defender 200 thousand pounds a week.
Recall that now the athlete is paid 100 thousand. Despite such a generous offer, Rudiger decided to leave the team at the end of this season, when his contract ends.

https://www.readfootball.com/ryudiger-otvetil-na-novoe-predlozhenie-chelsi-248165.html
Chelsea need pay him how much he want because looking with Rudiger quality as the best defender on primer league right now, he has success give Primer League and Champion League trophies for The Blues and should extended his contract have over this season. I think Chelsea have not any option with defender after Thiago Siva have over 35 years and Aplicueta have been 32 years old, need to get extended Rudiger contract excatly four or five years later.

Rudiger is a defender who can successfully fight for Chelsea for many years. I like him style.. One of the important generations of the German defense. And if they sign young, promising players like Çağlar Söyüncü or Demiral, Chelsea will not have a defense problem for many years. One of the best options for number 2 is Rudiger.
a growing issue he is willing to be extended if his new contract 250 thousand pounds a week, I think he deserves to be paid that much, I think people also agree with me, he's a pretty complete defender with defensive skills, possession of the ball and being able to score goals which I think is incredible. Chelsea should immediately complete his new contract rather than having to lose it on a free transfer or cut from behind by other club.

Manchester United will be hoping the season ends quick because they don't know what's wrong with them and they are hoping to start life with sir Alex Ferguson choice for the manager post (Mauricio Pochetino) to begin pre season with them,If that happens I don't think Christiano Ronaldo will continue because poch don't like big star names, and I see poch bringing in Ndombele to Manchester United if Paul pogba leave.
What makes you sure if Pochetino really comes and is willing to be the next  Man United successors. while he objected to being linked to be man united manager and no one has really clarified this news yet.

CR7 is a player with a high standard of play as well as other team mates they will not give up for any bad results lately, I believe their focus is to keep winning until the end of the season.

Really disappointing to see Roma performance today that although Genoa playing with 10 players since 69 minutes but the result was no goal in this match apparently goal disallowed by Nicolo Zaniolo makes Roma players frustrate and cannot playing well this time
Roma should be able win in this game by take advantage from the red card opponent player but in fact they failed. and their position is now decreasing from the table board thanks to a draw in this match, it's a loss for roma and if they can win this match they might be able to improve their position. UCL tickets will be increasingly difficult to catch because Napoli, Atalanta and Juventus, who are posision on tabled above Rome, actually have matches that have not been played.

I think it's high time I stop watching Manchester United games, we lost this game as a result of Ronaldo not scoring the penalty.
Although we created something good but failed to score, a lot of improvement needs to be done in the goal scoring.
Taking us to the penalties and winning in the process is useless, how can Manchester United have two goalie's that can't afford to catch penalties? It's embarrassing to see such!

I do not agree. Not winning the match can't just be Cristiano Ronaldo's fault.  In the past, Manchester United won many matches only thanks to Ronaldo. Football is a team game. If 11 people play well, you win, if 11 people play badly, you lose. Ronaldo was not good in this match, but it would be unfair to talk about losing the match only with Ronaldo. It was just an unlucky match for Manchester United. In football, there is winning and losing.
apart from Manchester United games I see every top team is not really serious with the FA Cup, only for lower-middle teams are serious about lowering the main squad and the best formation scheme.  Big team defeats in the FA are commonplace and it's as if this defeat is not a big deal, In fact, this defeat gives a fortune for them because it reduces their busy schedule and gives them more time to focus on important games on league or UCL.

tomorrow AFCON will have a match for the third place, between Burkina Faso vs Cameroon, Cameroon vs Burkina Faso in the previous meeting in Group A stage , Cameroon won with a score 2-1  and in the previously standing group A Cameroon was the leader of the group and Burkina Faso was the runner-up.
for the third place I favored Cameroon because in the previous meeting they managed to win and Cameroon has a big history winning in the Afcon competition plus they have Vincent Aboubakar and Karl Ekambi as the top scorers of this competition.
I don't know where you live or whether you are aware that there was a modification of the schedule but the game between Cameroon and Burkina Faso will take place today, Saturday, and tomorrow we will have Senegal vs Egypt. If I am not mistaken those games were scheduled Sunday and Monday at some point..
yeah right it's just our time zone difference, what I mean the same as you.

Cameroon will surely try and win the third place match to serve as consolation to their teeming supporters who are absolutely disappointed that they couldn't make it to the finals, though they will have to up a good performance against the Burkina Faso because this is not a group stage match, Vincent Aboubakar could have another opportunity to add more goals to his highest goal scorer tally or Karl Ekambi scoring goals to over take Vincent Aboubakar as the highest goal scorer or both players taking the award with equal number of goals if Ekambi score a goal to make it six goals apiece.

it's true that both fans will definitely be noisy considering this is a prestigious competition in their zone and I hope that in this match both teams play openly and finish without any extra time or penalty shootouts, in this match not only to win the third place but also to fight for who is the top scorer in this competition, which Cameroon will definitely take.

Manchester United are lost in a maze right now, and are taking so many turns to get out of the maze. Manchester United is struggling to win matches, since this new coach came in there has never been a comfortable win it is from one struggle to the other. I think the owners are gambling with the club that is why they don’t want to get a better coach. A club as big as Manchester United been struggling for years now and it seem they are comfortable with it. Will Pochettino be the one to rescue them out of the maze
For a club as big, successful and has a lot of winning history as Man United bringing in a new coach is always with high demands, for example a club like West Ham get a UCL tickets is a huge success, but for man united get a UCL ticket but fail to win the league is a failure. So what I want to say here is the level of success of the coach depends on the target given by the club. So out of all the Man United coaches we can't say they all failed, they were good enough they just couldn't meet the club's targets. Whoever the new coach is, it must be difficult to achieve high targets in a short time, they need time and trust.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 04, 2022, 06:35:20 AM
In my opinion, this is another attempt by Manchester United to try their luck with the New Manager. We all know that Mauricio Pochettino's achievements are not much, and I think a lot of people doubt that Mauricio Pochettino is the right coach for Manchester United, but he has considerable experience with the Premier League, and maybe it was for this reason that Man United was interested in signing Mauricio Pochettino.

I personally prefer Zidane to be the coach of Man United, even though he is not familiar with the Premier League competition, but he is a coach who has a winning mentality.
Mauricio Pochettino has no achievements in the Premier League, he has never won a championship, I think with Manchester United's situation today wanting to return to its former glory it is very inappropriate to choose Mauricio Pochettino as coach.
yes it's true Zidane is the right choice, Zidane's proof as a great coach is no doubt after he managed to bring Real Madrid 3 times to win the Champions League, but Zidane has rejected an offer from Man United to replace Ole some time ago.
Zidane doesn't seem interested in dealing with Man United no matter how hard Man United tries to get his sign I think he will refuse, if he's really interested to handle Man United why didn't he accept it before Ralf Rangnick's offer came. and Currently there is no option for quality coaches who are currently unemployed. It is natural that Mauricio Pochettino, who already has experience in the EPL, is linked to managing in the coming season, even though his achievements are still far below other popular coaches even from zidane.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Semi Finals. on: February 04, 2022, 04:26:07 AM
I felt that both the teams tried their best to win it but I guess luck was on Egypt side throughout the match, and in the penalty shoot outs they rode that luck and advanced to the finals. Also Salah vs Mane will be very interesting to watch because they know how each other operates, but I feel that Salah Egypt will win the finals and this is just my personal prediction what do others feel about the finals?.
comparing Salah and Mane in liverpool I prefer to chose Salah but in this AFCON I tend to favor senegal who won AFCON because of the motivation not to fail again in the AFCON final this time and in some news i read mane convinces friends to play all out to win this final no matter what opponent they face. Even though Egypt is superior because of the history of winning trophies, I think Senegal, which has never won this trophy has various motivations one of which is making new history in AFCON as a champion.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Semi Finals. on: February 04, 2022, 03:41:51 AM
I didn't watch the whole match, I just had time to watched the highlights, I think Cameroon is superior in those game and the statistics say the same however the result of the match has been decided and we could say that Egypt was lucky to advance to the final thanks to their luck in the penalty shootout and it seems that egypt has prepared this match to end in a draw and try to win from the penalty shootout. apart from this match, Egypt will compete against Senegal in the final which seems to be more prepared and does not want to repeat the failure like the previous final.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 04, 2022, 01:57:50 AM
Yeah, Newcastle definitely have spent a great deal of money so far in the winter transfer window. But they haven't made any big transfer so far. They just splurged on average players. This is not good for them. I don't mean the money part of course as they have no problem with money now. I think that they could still be in trouble with the new lineup too. But the main goal for them should be clinging to the Premier League at the end of the season. And I hope they can make it.
However, the facts on the ground are that it is difficult for Newcastle to be in which position in the Premier League. The mistake of letting go of 1 years and letting go of being in the relegation zone would be the most appropriate consequence for now. In my opinion, if you look at Newcastle, they just need an advisor where the suggestions for the transfer window can be used to the fullest.
In its current position, Newcastle does not need super transfers, because for the task of maintaining representation in the Premier League, they do not need extra-class games. It should also be borne in mind that the club has a certain spending ceiling in the current transfer window according to the requirements of financial fair play, so it is better for the club to buy several strong players than to spend all the money on a conditional one Mbappe. Newcastle is now a step away from the abyss and first you need to move away from this abyss by building a strong combat-ready team, but then it will be possible to improve this team to solve higher tasks.
newcastle just got the title of a new rich club but it is difficult for them to get or attract star players if their position is in the relegation zone, right if their focus right now is to avoid the relegation zone, and I think what newcastle needs right now is a consultant who can give advice to build the club's foundation in the future it is more useful than waste money for unneeded players. because to build a club's success doesn't start with buying star players but create the foundation of the team.

I also think that Roma are not in that much bad situation in the standings right now. They are at the 6th position and they have a winning streak recently too. This is their first season with Jose Mourinho in the end and we can't see it as a failure already now. They still have a chance for even the 4th position which can give them a chance to promote to the Champions League for the next season. And I believe that they will fight for it for a long time and won't give up earlier in the season.
The position of Roma on the board is still safe, The season is still long and they can still improve their stand to reach the UCL ticket zone. And I read some news saying Roma and Jose Mourinho are very active in the transer window, at the moment they are approaching some potential players after previously reaching an agreement with Tammy Abraham, lets see if they manage to get other sign of their hunted players. this possible purchase is a plan from mou to improve several sectors which he believes still need to be improved and chasing the standings board
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 03, 2022, 07:39:19 AM
I wouldn't say Aubameyang is that good. At Arsenal he has played poorly recently to say the least, and I don't think he will strengthen Barcelona. No, maybe he'll play up at Barcelona, start showing a level, maybe he's just tired/he's tired of playing in England? Maybe, but personally I don't believe in him yet. In any case, better him than nothing
Exactly, I know that and that's why Arsenal don't need him anymore this season. I know the stats that Aubameyang has had this season at Arsenal and it has dropped a lot compared to the previous few seasons. He is no longer able to play at the high level he was a few seasons ago, but I still believe he can help Barcelona score goals this season.

Aubameyang has only played 14 times this season at Arsenal and has registered 4 goals and 1 assist. He's not done yet and maybe he can improve his form at Barcelona if he's really needed by a team that's been in a slump this season. I hope he can prove it well because his first game is getting closer.
Yes, right. it seems that people are overestimating his performance, when in fact he is already old and when play in arsenal he doesn't stand out too much. got him on a free transfer and willing to cut his salary, wouldn't that be nice for a club that is in struggling financially, in normal financial condition i don't think he will be taken into account by barcelona because the playing style is clearly different from Barcelona strikers in general.
hope he can tune right away and can be set in the Barcelona vs Napoli.

The difference between Real Madrid and Barcelona has become huge. In terms of players, but also in terms of financial possibilities.
You are right. Real Madrid has good financial power, while Barcelona has a crisis in financial. This makes a big effect on the player quality, Barcelona has no strong attackers and defenders right now. I assume this big difference between Real and Barcelona will continue as long as Barcelona cannot fix their financial crisis. The best solution to this problem is Barcelona tries to get new investors to get additional money.
I hope the financial crisis in Barcelona doesn't stop them from winning trophies, citing the difficulty of competing with the squad they have.
In fact, I hope that with this crisis, Barcelona will again encourage young players from the La Masia academy to become stars player, like the pep guardiola era. as we know the La Masia academy has produced many stars player, for example, Messi and even Xavi, who is now their manager.
At least by fielding young players they have the opportunity to have a solid team foundation in the future.

Liverpool - Leicester can be really a delightful game hopefully. I expect a big rivalry as we saw such thing two times between them in this season. But actually, that rivalry was about the score, not the performances. Because Liverpool still were the much better playing team in those games. And in Anfield, I think that Liverpool will have a big domination. It is up to Leicester to keep them away as much as possible. But I don't think that they can be successful much. I think Liverpool will destroy them by two goals at least.
What is more important and Liverpool's focus for the game against Leicester I believe is not the number of goals. but winning points. because the difference in points between Liverpool and City is still quite far. Of course, attaching importance to victory to keep getting closer to City would make a lot of sense. they don't want to lose important points in a game like this. whatever the result, the victory must belong to Liverpool.
true. The number of goals is not a matter, the main thing is the winning points. Liverpool still have one game yet to be played, although the points difference is quite a lot and mancity are more favored to win this season but the season is not over everything may still change drastically, liverpool must remain focused on sticking to the current top table standing. Especially when the UCL final stage starts I think there will be surprises in the EPL table
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 02, 2022, 09:38:06 AM
I'm wishing to see Barcelona being more effective in scoring from now on as they have reached an agreement with Aubameyang. He still seems to be a free agent now on Transfermarkt but it is soon that Barcelona are going to make this transfer official. Aubameyang is a decent striker actually and he still has at least two years ahead of him to be productive I think. If he has a performance near Suarez or Benzema in the La Liga, then he would be a big help for the team without doubt. They just need to build a strong game plan and benefit from Aubameyang's finishing.
actually aubumeyang's contract with arsenal still remains until the end of this season, but arsenal terminates aubumeyang's contract and barcelona can get aubumeyang's services on a free transfer, i really salute barcelona even though they are experiencing a financial crisis but they are able to buy talented players, hopefully with this purchase can boost barcelona's performance, this season at least barcelona can finish in the top 4 of the standings and can get a ticket to the champions league..
Rumors circulated that Aubameyang's contract was deliberately terminated due to undisciplined actions and was accused of having a bad impact on other players, instead of paying his salary for free, Arsenal decided to cut his contract more quickly. Signing him on a free transfer is an advantage for Barcelona, but his attitude off the field should be taken into account, fearing that the issues that have occurred at Arsenal will also occur in Barcelona.
if he is willing to change his attitude after joining barcelona I believe he is a good transfer and the struggle to get through to the UCL ticket will be easier.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 02, 2022, 06:54:15 AM
Kylian Mbappe has reached an agreement to join Real Madrid next season for free after his contract with PSG was not renewed, a considerable loss for PSG considering that Madrid had offered a high enough price in the transfer market at the beginning of the season but PSG still rejected Madrid's offer and currently the market The transfer has closed and Kylian Mbappe has not extended his contract with PSG. A sizeable advantage for Madrid because Kylian Mbappe is obtained for free and at a very young age it becomes an investment for Madrid in the next few seasons.
If I'm not mistaken it still a personal agreement from Mbappe, PSG/Real Madrid and the player agents no one has officially announced their transfer, It's a pity that PSG loosing him and refusing several offers previously from Real Madrid when in fact PSG can still sell him before deadline transfer instead of letting Mbappe go on a free transfer, If this transfer proves successful, it's true that Real Madrid are very lucky to get a potential young player like Mbappe, Despite the transfer drama I think it's a very wise decision for Mbapee to join Real Madrid if he wants to win and collect trophies and pursue personal achievement compared to staying at his current club.

Aubameyang have signed for Barcelona on loan, after the player had problem with Arsenal due to disciplinary breach. The former Arsenal skipper lost form and was unable to get goals as he used to before, which made Arsenal felt he was a waste and a flop in the team.

But it's a good news for a club like Barcelona because despite his poor form,I believe he will still Excell at Barcelona because they have good passers of the ball than Arsenal.

Both teams have benefited from this signing. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is no doubt talented enough. He has been out of the squad for so long due to problems with Arsenal. However, with the help of Xavi, he may be able to adapt to the Barcelona team very quickly. But for this, he has to practice hard.
Xavi is doing his best to stabilize the Barcelona team. Now I think he is successful. Barcelona now has a talented striker in the team. They can now play tiki-taka tactics well. In the upcoming matches maybe we will see more beautiful gameplay from Barcelona.
Discipline is always a scourge on players in the club. Such as balotelli who often deal with disciplinary problems at some clubs where he plays. May Aubameyang in Barcelona he change his attitude and obey the rules that apply. Because he is very expected to boost the team that is currently struggling to improve. if not I think his career can decline and crumble even ending early.
