21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This bull makes all alts will make new all time highs on: September 02, 2021, 11:17:25 AM
I love how altcoins and Bitcoin moved forward in 2017. A terrible profit margin was made when Domain BTC.D dropped from over 80% to around 50%. That has led altcoins to increase in capitalization one by one. At that time, there were not as many altcoin projects as there are now.
Currently, there are about 10,000 altcoins, so the ability to create a strong mass increase like in 2017 is more difficult, not to mention that the BTC.D domain is below 50%.

There are a lot of altcoins since 2017, alts is created everydays but most of them are ended becoming a trash tokens. So i think the more alts in the market is not going to affect the price growth of an alts. Investors are only hooked up on a good alts, aw we can see this year there are a lot of alts having price increase more than 10x times in short time, that means if the alts is really good, no matter how many alts out there, it won't stop the growth.
Now it's the challenge for us as an investor to choose which alts to invest

We have more serious projects with investment from many big institutions like Coinbase, Binance Labs, Samsung... They are big corporations. They are strongly promoting the development of the cryptocurrency market.
Choosing an investment project is a good question. I will prioritize projects that are blockchain platforms because they can add value like how Solana, BSC did.

It's not yet available on CMC or coingecko and as far as i know sovryn didn't have api to be integrated with CMC and coingecko. it seems like babelfish needs to create its own API to be connected with CMC and coingecko.
As far as I know, Sovryn has made a small effort to come to CMC with native ESOV tokens on Ethereum based on native exchange price API data on Uniswap.  Compared to current expansion and development defi systems, Sovryn is still a small and budding platform.  The first launcher on their Rbtc root chain just got Babelfish.  It's an improvement on their part though

Transaction costs with rBTC on the RSK network are quite good. I only lost 0.14$ for one smart contract call. It is cheaper than BSC and a lot lower than Ethereum. I think DEFI with the RSK network is great, it satisfies Bitcoin enthusiasts and DEFI very good experience. I don't know if bottlenecks happen as people use them more?!

24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next US president pro-bitcoin? on: September 01, 2021, 02:12:43 AM
Bitcoin is getting into the bills and getting better and better. I like the idea that the next President of the United States will support Bitcoin, just as Trump praised Bitcoin in March 2017 and early 2021 he vehemently disparaged Bitcoin.
A wise president will please his voters with policies rather than favor Bitcoin, as it is also just a payment intermediary. Not all Americans own Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Therefore, it can be said that it is impossible to please the majority of voters by the above method.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Surprising price movement of BabelFish Coin on: September 01, 2021, 02:07:47 AM
Many people don't use RSK Bitcoin so if FISH doesn't list on larger exchanges and has strong promotions, it will be difficult to have a breakthrough in value for this project.
i'm pretty sure listing on new exchanges is already planned. it's still early, the project was launched just a few days ago, so it's not surprising if they focus more on delivering their product instead of exchange. pretty sure the hype will come for rsk project, just like how solana, harmony etc got their own pump too.

That could happen but rBTC currently only has some CEX support. If promoted methodically as well as supported by large companies, the next investment trend is likely to be RSK bitcoin. The generation of smart contracts on Bitcoin will thrive and the money will flow to FISH.
FISH has been carefully prepared in the launch stage when I know this project from June to now.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency and entertainment. on: August 31, 2021, 03:21:46 PM
Entertainment is an applicable aspect of cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency includes many other things like management, automation, security, safety, decentralized finance...
Current uses of crypto are being found in much NFT play to earn games and may change in the future as businesses adopt more crypto applications.
I do not agree with the classification of crypto as entertainment. It is scientific and has a broader application space than the word entertainment.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Can XRP Achieve $5? on: August 31, 2021, 03:15:02 PM
$5 could be achieved if Bitcoin and top altcoins continue to rally but XRP will have to get through litigation with the SEC. I think the lawsuit will drag on and that reduces the upside momentum of this project.
I have been monitoring XRP for the past several months, the trading volume is quite good. As long as the good news with XRP that I mentioned above occurs, a strong price increase is bound to happen. XRP can hit $5 and beyond.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Surprising price movement of BabelFish Coin on: August 31, 2021, 03:10:18 PM
The value of each token is currently $0.32, which is a good return compared to the ICO.
Belba Fish has a total supply of 420 million FISH tokens, in the first year around 100 million tokens will be issued. So the capitalization of the project will be around 20 million dollars right now. That number is reasonable given a new project on the RSK Bitcoin network.
Many people don't use RSK Bitcoin so if FISH doesn't list on larger exchanges and has strong promotions, it will be difficult to have a breakthrough in value for this project.

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana Pump on: August 20, 2021, 02:23:23 PM
Solana is a hot rising crypto with the ecosystem of this project growing and expanding rapidly. I find Solana's decentralization problematic as most people can't operate a node easily because the hardware requirements are too strict looking at Solana's validation structure.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria to launch its crypto currency after crypto ban on: August 20, 2021, 02:20:04 PM
They want to manage the flow of money and avoid the loss of assets abroad. Just like how China banned cryptocurrencies from trading, China's central bank has been testing its national cryptocurrency.
Nigeria's economy is still young so the move to ban cryptocurrencies is only in the national interest in the long run.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jamaica Adopt cryptocurrency on: August 18, 2021, 02:50:27 PM
CBDC is the national cryptocurrency and it is separate from the cryptocurrency we know. There needs to be an intersection of values to benefit the space as a whole. What I am interested in right now is the complete regulation of crypto in countries around the world. That's how crypto becomes legal around the world. The recognition also brought huge inflows of money into cryptocurrencies.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They’re 14 and 9 years old—and making $32,000 a month thanks to Ethereum on: August 18, 2021, 02:28:59 PM
Earning $32,000, how much is the capital spent? I think they are very large numbers. They are the children of a former banker. They have money to invest in computer equipment and other things. I admire the children because when I was little I didn't know what my mother would cook for the evening, they already knew how to make money. Surely these will be two successful investors in the future.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: August 18, 2021, 01:52:26 PM
Valuable things like Bitcoin, ETH, or any other altcoin with stable value in the market will be difficult to give away for free easily. Scams happen always, and we need to be vigilant. The best way is to wirelessly them. I have been scammed for money and I am aware of the pain of losing the money I have.
I don't believe in free stuff from this market other than bonuses and airdrops. New projects are hard to value and often undervalued, so social media helps people spread the word. Get rewards from specific jobs that can offer low returns but zero risks.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: FOLLOW THIS RULES TO BECOME RICH on: August 16, 2021, 03:51:09 PM
I think just doing 10 of the more than 20 things you give makes a person rich. I believe that a person who adheres to all of the above rules has deep self-discipline. How can that person do all of the things listed above? It will take a lot of practice to bring the philosophy of life to the next level. I see the shape of Warren Buffet inside the above rules.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: August 16, 2021, 03:45:20 PM
The altcoin is also worth a long-term investment if it has a backer and usage environment. I have seen many x10, x100 altcoin projects after many years of development such as AXS, Luna, ADA, ETH, XRP... We want big profits, we also need to accept a little risk. Long-term investing is a good thing if you've done your due diligence on the audience you're going to invest in. I support investing in altcoins because they have a diverse usage environment and new technology. Supporting altcoins is supporting creativity in the blockchain space.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BabelFish x Sovryn on: August 15, 2021, 03:53:02 PM
Where can I buy BelbaFish? This project held a Pre-sale in June but has not been traded on any CEX or DEX yet. I am skeptical about this project because people are focusing more on blockchains like BSC, Ethereum, Polkadot and Solana.
There are very few people using Bitcoin RSK, owning BTC-RSK is also very difficult because there are very few exchanges that support it.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can people in US trade XRP in PancakeSwap or Uniswap? on: August 15, 2021, 03:48:19 PM
XRP is a different blockchain from Ethereum or BSC so XRP can only be purchased with centralized exchanges. If you have trouble with KYC or national policy use VPN, Tor to buy XRP.
There is a form of XRP wrapped on BSC that you can own. Its value is the same as that of XRP on the original blockchain.

39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin really resist inflation? on: August 15, 2021, 03:40:13 PM
Bitcoins are global currencies so they have a large and decentralized market. It is everyone in the world that controls Bitcoin with a P2P network. It is different from the FIAT currency, which is also an interesting point that Bitcoin brings.
Bitcoin does not need to reduce its supply. Bitcoin is limited in quantity, scarce through increased mining by miners and halving rewards per block every 4 years. The amount of Bitcoin outside the market is always decreasing due to the active buying of individuals and institutions.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any miner who have not sold any bitcoin from the beginning? on: August 15, 2021, 03:21:52 PM
No one exploits but just for fun other than profit. Only the first miners who lost their wallet password were holding their Bitcoins and they lost those Bitcoins forever.
Many people have mined Bitcoin in the past and we cannot know who they are.
Profit from Bitcoin is very aattractive, if it were me, I would probably sell it right after mining to recover my capital.
