Actually, Nitrogen is one of the most popular bookies, certainly not the best, being beaten on two of your arguments, "best odds" and "better selections of sports to bet at" by at least two different websites (one sportsbook, one exchange) which I won't disclose though. However, Nitrogen is still one of the better options out there, just not the best Wink

I'm confident that btc gambling and regulation do not really fit each other very well. Regulation means ID verification on each depositing customer, the btc gambling community really hates ID verification. Maybe some flexibility from current gambling license issuers would help a lot, but right now, pretty much all casinos or sportsbooks pretending to be "licensed" are actually operating (at least on the btc balances) outside their licenses - the ones that do not request ID verification, of course.
Old, established fiat casinos that started accepting btc deposits, also require ID verification as per their own license terms.
I think the first licencing entity to allow customer anonymity up to a certain amount (like XXX btc per day/week/month) would become the main choice for many of the current casinos, but right now, there is none.

Dap, si eu sunt de parere ca doar actualul chain BTC va fi cel cu valoare, dar, acest mic ghid este pentru aceia care vor sa aiba acces in conditii de siguranta la ambele chain-uri - dupa hard fork.

Regula (sau mai bine zis...povata/zicala) numarul 1 pentru cei ce doresc sa detina BTC: Nu esti detinatorul (real) de BTC daca nu esti in posesia private-key-ului care contine acei BTC. Pe scurt, fara amanunte tehnice, nu e recomandat sa pastrati BTC la exchanges/online wallets - regula generala valabila tot timpul, nu numai pentru ziua de 1 August.
Revenind la 1 August, pentru cei ce vor sa detina ambele "variante" de BTC, aceasta modalitate a fost prezentata pe reddit si consider ca este de interes general si nu strica sa fie tradusa si-n romana:

1) Descarcati si instalati Electrum (sunt multe alte variante de wallet-uri, acesta insa este un wallet popular si usor de folosit) - de pe https://electrum.org/
2) Mutati BTC pe una din adresele (private-key-urile) din noul instalat electrum.
3) Exportam/salvam private key pe care am mutat BTC.
4) Asteptam linistiti 1 August cu al sau UAHF (user activated hard fork).
5) Daca UAHF are loc, mutam din nou BTC din acel private key pe un alt private key (intr-un alt wallet).
6) Descarcam un client/wallet care suporta nou aparuta BCC.
7) Importam private-key-ul salvat/exportat la pasul 3 in noul wallet care suporta (lucreaza cu) BCC, cel descarcat la pasul 6.

Rezultatul:

- In wallet-ul de BTC vom avea BTC, in cel de BCC vom avea BCC. Pasul 5 este practic optional, dar recomandat ca masura de siguranta impotriva unui posibil furt de BTC de catre cei ce vor lansa BCC wallets - pentru ca BCC wallet sa "vada" BCC-ul nostru, este nevoie de acelasi private key pe care noi am pus initial BTC, dar pe care l-am "golit" de BTC la pasul 5. Tranzactia de golire de la pasul 5 va fi recunoscuta de BTC network, deci BTC se vor afla intr-un alt wallet, in timp ce BCC network nu va "vedea" aceasta tranzactie, fiind deja un chain separat. Asadar, pe chain-ul BCC, private-key-ul salvat la pasul 3 va contine in continuare BCC-ul.

Here's my input:

- Powerbet - 4.5 - best odds on major competitions, instant withdrawals, average promotions (I like the parlay bonus though, but they should put up more periodical promotions - the reason they are not given a full 5 point score)
- Nitrogen - 4.5 - very good odds all around, just a bit under powerbet - fast withdrawals - high limits - weak promotions (again the reason they don't get full 5 point score, just like powerbet)
- Cloudbet - 3.5 - their odds vary from being equal to Nitrogen to being worse than Directbet (looks like a trap since they're mixing good ones with bad ones, even on the same competition) - usually fast withdrawals - pretty weak promotions
- Sportsbet - 3.5 - odds are quite bad, but they are the best at promotions and all 3 bookies above could learn from them. Withdrawals are fast.
- Directbet - 2.5 - constantly providing the worst odds (with the exception of those trap odds from cloudbet) - no serious punter should ever consider directbet over the first 3 bookies - instant withdrawals and constant bitcointalk directed promotions kept them from getting the minimum score

Yes, CB covers most live betting because they use the largest data supplier. Nitrogen's live betting is the worst one.

I really doubt CB (or any other bookie) beats powerbet in live betting lines or odds. And PB also has instant withdrawals. CB usually has decent odds, but there are some popular events where they just throw in the worst odds, worse than directbet, so if you're a CB player, keep your eyes open and don't fall for that trap (they mix good odds with really awful ones)

I can bet these "best odds". And I wasn't limited by powerbet or asked for ID. These two statements are facts. Just as this top. I cannot comment more on their limiting of players since I can only speak for myself.
However, while I presented just pure facts (including the odds displayed by bookies), I need to ask you, goxcraft, what is your personal interest for this outburst against my top? Are you the owner of one of the listed or not listed bookies? A paid shill?
This top has a single purpose: to give people an idea on what bookies are greedy and ripping them off and what bookies offer good, competitive odds on popular events. There is NOTHING stopping the bookies on offering better odds - but it looks like they don't. Look at cloudbet, sportsbet and directbet.
Cloudbet actually seem to offer even worse odds than a month ago, when this topic was started. Sportsbet has a fix on 5-6% house edge (they could be so much more popular with an average of 2.5% to 3%...). Directbet has constantly provided above 6% (most of the times 8%-9%) margin on popular events, making them one of the worst btc bookie. While they still get a lot of votes on the "popularity polls". It isn't just me to wonder if some people are just bad at math and complete idiots or... directly interested in promoting a certain bookie.
Nitrogen, while not offering better odds than powerbet, are still a very good choice and I encourage people to bet with them as an alternative to powerbet!
So, to be clear, this top will be here no matter what bookie gets the top position (one of them will always be on top, unless, somehow, they all offer same odds).
This top has a double purpose:
- punters get a general view on the odds offered by various bookies, thus no longer being fooled by those "popularity tops" where bookies seem to be more popular if they offer worse odds.
- bookies can take steps to improve their odds which can only benefit us, the players

So, again, to make things clear, I'll keep "shilling" for whatever bookie gets the green position in my top!
