21  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: July 29, 2018, 10:38:30 PM
I read this article, but I want to see opinions, would you sell all your alts to have only bitcoin now ? I don't think this is recommended

https://cointelegraph.com/news/buy-bitcoin-sell-your-altcoins-says-pioneering-wall-street-blockchain-analyst
Few weeks ago I was contradicting this topic, but for now I can say that this is not the worst strategy because bitcoin is growing and alternatives are falling in the price so it seems to be wise to exchange alternative into Bitcoin.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: SHOULD WE KEEP THE PENNY on: July 29, 2018, 10:38:03 PM
Here is my opinion on this question:

DON'T KEEP THE PENNY, I don't think we should keep the penny because it cost more to make the penny than the penny is worth. The argument for that is that we will end up paying more as citizens because then everything will have to be rounded up, but I don't think that it will be a great difference. I also think since most people use credit cards, debit cards, and online tools to make purchases these days then it won't affect many people.

WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON THIS?
My country used to have a coins of 1 and 2, but for now it is really worth more money to make it than is worth itself, so they are manufacturing 5 and more worthy coins instead. It would be better than my country accept Bitcoin.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: July 29, 2018, 10:37:09 PM

There was a time where Bitcoin was not even on the radar, it was a novel idea that was primarily used by thieves and drug dealers on the dark web. Nothing to be afraid of in terms of holding a monopoly on money.

However, that same little upstart is now disrupting the system of things; from Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, ICOs and the ever impressive Blockchain technology. This is now a legitimate threat on traditional banks.

Banks have existed unchallenged for hundreds of years, and that is the key issue here; Bitcoin, backed by a solid platform such as Blockchain technology, is a ghost that is incredibly hard to control due to its decentralized nature.

The power and control of money is being ripped away from traditional institutions, which can also be seen on Wall Street. Some of these traditional investors are siding with what could be the future, while others vehemently denounce it.

Individuals can now enter into direct peer-to-peer trusted exchanges with strangers. They no longer need a central institution to vouch for the other party.

Just like the fax machine, the library, even metered taxis, new technologies have come along and made others obsolete. Banks are now in the sights of Bitcoin and are in their death throws, as they lash out with the power of states behind them.

However, there’s no stopping progress, and even with state-backed regulations trying to wrestle the money of the people under control, banks have every reason to be nervous.

Full news https://www.cointelegraph.com/news/why-big-banks-are-so-nervous-about-bitcoin
First of all we need to say that not all the banks are nervous some of them are just passive, secondly I can say that is a real threat to existing bank corporation system, crypto currency is real.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC HOLDER Criteria on: July 29, 2018, 10:36:51 PM
  • Many studies, where before investing a person Research or research is often described as an active, diligent, and systematic investigative process, aimed at discovering, interpreting, and revising facts about bitcoin.
  • Joining with friends, means paying attention to what our friends are doing or selling bitcoin.
  • Long-term investment, investments in which bitcoin is used will be rotated and can only be disbursed after a specified period of time, usually at least 1 year.  Long-term investments can also be referred to as planting a portion of a person's capital wealth to earn a steady income or to master other objects.

You belong to which criteria ?
I would say that I most likely include myself into a third part because I like to go for a bit coin in long-term perspectives I don't have enough time to make all those research which are needed for someone going on a short-term run.
25  Economy / Economics / Re: You're not wealthy yet, so you're not allowed to be wealthy on: July 25, 2018, 11:35:57 AM
The rule that only accredited investors, which means people who are already wealthy, are allowed to participate in certain ICOs is senseless imo. It's like saying "YOU'RE NOT WEALTHY YET, SO YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO BE WEALTHY." Stupid society, with obsolete rules, we're living in.

Disclaimer: I'm not a US citizen, and I've not read that law
I know that there is something in your words, but also I know so many guys who were poor enough to not having many clothes, but thanks to bitcoin and god they have gone from the problems that they had.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: July 25, 2018, 11:35:45 AM
Lot of countries do not allow to use crypto currencies and they discourage using them. However as far as I feel, trading with crypto is not that harmful for the economy of the country. As an example, if a person has Eth and someone from another country needs to buy Eth, that buyer needs to pay the seller in terms of dollars. Then that seller needs to convert that Dollars to his native currency which means it creates a the demand for the native currency and increase the value of the currency. May be the government is unable to add a tax on such transactions but it is beneficial for the currency used in seller's country.
What do you think about that?
People are always afraid of something new so probably the reason is that people are not enough educated and understandable to the Bitcoin terms, and they think that it would be harmful for their economy country system.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: July 24, 2018, 11:43:35 AM
Good afternoon. I would like to hear your opinion. I've been reading the forum sufficiently long, but I rarely write. I had one question. Why is the forum divided into 2 teams that angry with one another? The first support bitcoin and hate all altcoins. All of this for them is only garbage. Others like altcoins and do not understand what the problem have first.
I have a question for the first camp. Why?
Take for example Zilliqa, Tomocoin, NEO, DragonChain, etc. People who bought them in large quantities became richer. Why do you think this is garbage?
Bitcoin is a legend, but some altcoins are worth paying attention to, aren't they?
I appreciate the opinions of each person is different, I think it's normal that some people like altcoin and some  hate, but for me altcoin and bitcoin there is a good side that can be an equally profitable investment but also need analysis to get the benefit.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin grows everyday through Shared knowledge on: July 23, 2018, 08:14:21 PM
I came across a quote made by someone on this forum which goes like,'An open mind is one of the best assets when it come to cryptocurrency'.
This quote got me thinking, to make bitcoin (cryptocurrency) grow everyday in relation to clearing all misconceptions people have, we need to share our little knowledge about bitcoin on this forum. Sharing of  knowledge will create an atmosphere for people to be open minded and also help newbie investors to understand the crypto world and the market. I realized there is quite a great number of very helpful people and resources on this forum.
What do you guys think? Do you agree with me?
People need to convince other people to join the cryptocurrency and by doing that we will be creating the demand and specifically we will manipulate the price of Bitcoin into higher point than it is right now in stand.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Way forward from the bearish market on: July 22, 2018, 10:24:29 PM
I have been thinking, despite the  adoption, partnerships etc yet market keep going down

It is unfortunate the crypto market turned in to a dumping ground instead of a value generator atimes due to lack of knowledge by investors.

Too many scam/yahoo/fake ico’s came on the heels of eth success. So people started ico hopping gradually lowering expectations post ico from 100x to 10x to 1x now.

Right now it opens at ico price and goes down. A few exceptions are always there.

Companies also got greedy and started raking in 40 million USD for a shit idea they got and no MVP.

Imagine the eth ico was 16 million only. Do you see the difference in the quality of people/companies collecting funds? It is learning curve for all.

The money supply did not expand. The companies that build their business in this downturn may see higher prices. Others will go away if they bought lambos and enjoyed big team dinners at the company expense as there is no easy way to do a secondary ico in these markets. They can only dump tokens and eventually dump the company.

It seems like everything is bad right now, but anyway we are having all that great things going on around cryptocurrencies, so you should not be discouraged because of this little reasons.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Goes Down and Down on: July 22, 2018, 10:23:16 PM
It's a Very Struggling time for Cryptocurrencies. The Market Goes down approx 10 to 15 Percent. Bitcoin Drop down $7k, On the other Hand, Ethereum goes down $400.
Yes, this deep was really long but it is very good that we got out of that. And for now it seems like we're heading up and all the things that happening in all around the world are saying that, crypto is prospective.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: what have you sacrificed for crytptocurrency economic growth on: July 22, 2018, 10:23:02 PM
I can say about two things that I have sacrificed in order to get involved in cryptocurrency, and it is my common job and my free time to do what I want to do.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: July 21, 2018, 11:57:55 AM

Yes you are right. It's silly to buy just bitcoin or just altcoyin. Every coin deserves attention. I think the best investment strategy is to invest in bitcoin, part of the altcoyins. Then you will always win.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest into Bitcoin or bank on: July 21, 2018, 11:57:28 AM
I have worked to get $2000 worth of money and I am planning of investing in bitcoin but my uncle is pressuring me to save the money at bank. I have done everything to convince him but he is not comprehending to my point. Please what do i tell him again to convince him?
I think that the most reasonable solution in this situation will not be to invest in something one. It is better to invest $1000 in bitcoin, and $1000 to the bank. You will have two types of income. And your uncle will calm down)
34  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your favorite exchange? on: July 19, 2018, 03:34:10 PM
There are many exchanges out there. Which one do you use and why?
Thanks!
Of course my favourite is nothing different than Binance =) with almost highest market volume of trading, with almost highest amount of coins listed on exchange and also secure wallets of deposit.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Market begins to spike to 7,400$ possible breakout until 10,000$ on: July 19, 2018, 03:33:59 PM
The crypto market surged billions of $ in just 30minutes timeframe. This is amazing, Check out the article below for reason. I've seen this kind of pump last year although I'm not into cryptocurrency yet during that time read a lots of price hike. As a newbie I can't say if this is the beginning of Bull market.

https://www.ccn.com/crypto-market-adds-20-billion-in-30-minutes-as-bitcoin-spikes-above-7400/
If bitcoin will go so high it would be awesome, but I think that after that we are possibly going down even more, whatever I cannot predict it as well as nobody can say for sure what will be happening next.
36  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A simple Strategy for the Crypto Trade Market on: July 19, 2018, 03:33:39 PM
This strategy is not so bad but I am usually with rowing around 10% to 15% from my investment capital monthly to meet needs of my family and to have some fun because I need to reward myself because of working here.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big news for bitcoin and crypto currency on: July 15, 2018, 08:14:40 PM
Switzerland’s stock exchange – owned and managed by SIX – has announced its intention to begin offering crypto-specific markets in the very near future. The new SIX Digital Exchange, SDX for short, is – will be fully regulated by authorities in its native country, and backed by the Swiss National Bank, in the same way as its main exchange.
It would be so great if world biggest banks and governments will turn their attention towards cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin. For this reasons bitcoin integration will move faster and faster.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: July 14, 2018, 09:50:39 PM
Creating a personal wallet, the user does not need to check the passport data, or somehow confirm his identity somehow, so it's impossible to track who made the transaction.
You can lose anonymity only if you withdraw funds from the crypto exchange into offline.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people need to use Bitcoin for Money laundering? on: July 12, 2018, 06:27:57 PM
The bitcoin is only relatively anonymous and therefore very rarely used for money laundering. According to studies, bitcoin for illicit purposes is used in no more than ten percent of cases. Now there are many coins with a high level of anonymity - Coin Monero, ZCash, Dash, and others. These are those that are used more often by criminals. In this regard, the indicated coins in Japan were banned for circulation.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin fever coming back? on: July 11, 2018, 02:33:13 PM
I don't know about you but in my country it seems like there's bitcoin fever is not going nowhere for a year and a half already,  whole country is just boiling about all those news and predictions, it is the main topic of every news program.
