We have seen that the biggest exchanges for ETC and ETH have frozen funds of the white hat hackers to stop their plan to dump their coins. So I think they will do the same once the ETC of the DAO attacker moves in Poloniex and Kraken too. They will not allow to be used by the attacker as a playground for their bad motives. I do not know what the smaller exchanges will do.
That would be good. But for the DAO hacker, he can just do it off change or mix the coins. Is there a way to prevent that? That could happen. But I do not hear about the existence of the Etheruem mixing service. There could be one soon. Currently there are all btc mixing service, not eth or ltc mixers. When eth trading volume last more than 1 year, there will be a mixer service there. Haven't searched about ethereum mixer but found out this https://ethermixer.com/I don't know is this trusted or not and also haven't tried. But there seem already ethereum mixer service available if they also allows ETC mixing than hacker may find a way to mix. Wow, first time to see this eth mixer. I just wonder how ETH hacker mixed his 3M ETC. Maybe the exchange is watching his address. I am not sure has he dumped his 3M ETC or not. I think the hacker is dump ETC price because the rate is down too deep and now reach 0.0029. I don't know how long its down and many of traders is stuck on high rate when they buy. The hacker might have already dump all his ETC by shorting in several exchanges. He can buy back the shorts when he announce that he will sell his ETC and crash the price. So that means even if the hacker does not do any thing to the ETC which was hacked, he is already millionaire. |

I do not see any future for ethereum if the events like that continued to happen with bitcoin ,it will dump bitcoin to death and will be no more there, I think now its holders should have to sell their ethereum.
There are two versions of the Ethereum now, the ETH and ETC. Which Ethereum do you think should sell? I think the ETC should be sold for the ETH as many developers and companies have showed support for ETH. That could be the right action to take. But it is better to wait until end of August and find out how the DAO hacker will do with his ETC. The DAO hacker can access his ETC on 2 September. But it might take some time for him to move the coins to exchanges. |

I'm new to bitcoin. Never experienced the drop you are talking. I've read 90+ times that they predicted the demise of bitcoins but after the halving, the price rocketed. Dropping soon? I don't think so. I'll think it will play in the 600+ mark even maybe more in months to come.
I agree with that. The price will be over the $600+-10% for the next few months before it rises to $1000. I think the price of bitcoin needs some good consolidation. The price has risen over 60% over the last three months. |

Price has already started to rise, and now I don't think it will fall back, it will keep on moving up till we reach to the stage of halving, as majority of people have high hopes from halving.
I think the halving can make the bitcoin price to rise 3 to 8 times. That is due to the reduced supply of bitcoin. |

halving means that block rewards will be halved, so miners will get less money from bitcoins and maybe it will be unprofitable for them so they will leave their jobs so price will have to rise so price will rise and some people predicts that price will rise to 1200$ but i think that we will be pretty lucky if price will rise to 900$ as there will be a lon of people that will sell bitcoins It depends on the demand of the new coins. If there is no new demand, the price will actually drop. |

There is a lot of advantages of owning a bitcoin debit card right now, at least you can with this debit card withdraw your coins in fiat without converting in exchangers which ask high fee usually.

I use compiled version of proxy.
I change settings in eth-proxy.conf,but Setting is not reflected for proxy.
Leave the default setting .

This is known and very rarely bug, see #1 in the list below. Known bugs of proxy: - mining to default pool-wallet because exe-file cannot find conf-file (non standard situation, happens only if you start via autostart or so one). Official way to start in command line(console) just run exe file. - continue mining old block though internet connections failure. - sometimes getting of new jobs broken. Additional changes: - if miner forget to change default wallet, mining will not be started. - will be displayed hashrates that miner send to pool via eth_submitHashrate I will fix all issues today. If you can fix the issues, that will be excellent. Sometimes, the proxy do not update and mine the same block all the time. So I have to autostart it every few hours. |

Did you know you can do trustless crowd funding in Nxt's Monetary System? i.e. Say you want to raise 200k NXT with a deadline in 30 days time. People put up the money bit by bit and it is all held by the protocol (a trustless escrow). The dev can't run away with it part way through the process. When the deadline comes, the protocol checks if the amount raised is 200k or more. If it is, the 200k NXT is released to you for your successfully funded project and tokens representing a stake in your project are sent to the funders (optional, I believe). If less than 200k, then all NXT are returned to those who sent them. All trustlessly and all for a cost of 40 NXT But no one does, not counting the 1000s of scams currently listed on the hardly ever used asset exchange.
