601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: August 31, 2017, 06:20:51 AM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

It depends but in my own opinion as for this moment bitcoin is also strong enough to be able to survive for 100 years. New things may come up but bitcoin surely will be  there  .
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 31, 2017, 03:46:39 AM
what do you think about this topic?

I think it depends on the people on how he will handle his life so that he'll became a rich person. BTC is nothing to do in being rich because the hardwork and ofcourse the strategy of the person is the who will make him a rich person and nothing to do with the bitcoin. Bitcoin is just a currency and it will help you in many ways.

I don't think so that bitcoin is an instant way to get rich. Yes, it depends on the people on how to handle his life. Bitcoin helps you to earn extra income but you need to work , have a stable job or business inorder to earn more income. After all your destiny is in your hands.
603  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga kabayan anong unang naisip niyo sa Bitcoin noong first time niyong nalaman on: August 30, 2017, 07:53:07 PM
SCAM!!

Makakatulong sa atin para magkaroon ng extra income aside from our work.
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the min. BTC amount to own that will make you rich one day? on: May 25, 2017, 05:07:19 PM
I think we should all aim for 21 regardless.

21 means no more than 1 million people in the world will be richer than you and it is a good target.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: April 05, 2017, 02:45:16 PM
not selling for 3 years at least. 25% of world population will be using blockchain enabled tech in 2025

I shall keep most of my coins for the long term.

Since prices went up quite high from the original price and you can consider booking some profit, and you may get a chance to buy at a lower price later on. Because since last couple of days prices are correcting and I believe it may go down some more. In the longer term it may go even higher price but it is always good to book some profits now and then in investments.

It is quite difficult to predict the short term price performance. I sold some when the price was $20, thinking it could go lower and buy back.
610  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: new BTC mining GPU mobo? on: March 06, 2017, 03:46:53 PM
This mobo is used for ETH/ZEC minning, but as these altcoins doesn't mean anything to cryptonubs. They added BTC as most have at least heard about Bitcoin. Marketing - buy this mobo and you can make money with it.

That is right. I only use that for altcoins.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has gone beyond gold prices on: February 21, 2017, 03:37:47 PM
If I'm gonna choose on both i will pick gold. well besides it has a good attraction and great fashion when you put it as an accessories. its increases its value every year too .that's why buying a gold is the most and primary suggested to put your investment too. because the price of the gold will never decrease because gold is a minerals that can found on our world and having a couple of gold you could sell it on some collectors of item .

I think the price of bitcoin will appreciate faster than the gold. So it is better to invest in bitcoin.
612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy crap heading past $1,000 !!! on: January 03, 2017, 04:56:56 PM
We are gonna be richhhh!!!   Kiss Kiss Kiss

You'll surely going to be rich if you had so many amount of bitcoin and you bought it at $500 price value and you are going sell it at $1000 . but i know that some people won't be satisfied for that, maybe they'd say that if you had a lot of btc 800+ for example and the price goes higher than $1000 then you're already rich .

Early people who got into bitcoin when it was dirt cheap are the real rich people. If you had entered into bitcoin just recently then you will only make some money. But anyways, keep holding and perhaps one day you might just be rich. All the best!

I am glad I bought some in the past 12 months.

I bought some in the middle of last year. But I will hold for the next few years. I might be very rich then.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SILENTARMY v5: Zcash miner, 115 sol/s on R9 Nano, 70 sol/s on GTX 1070 on: December 08, 2016, 09:10:48 AM
Hy folks , this miner is only for Linux users? or I missing something?

It is mainly for Linux. But there are also Windows build. For the time being, it is not the fastest public miner.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SILENTARMY v5: Zcash miner, 115 sol/s on R9 Nano, 70 sol/s on GTX 1070 on: December 01, 2016, 08:22:38 AM
Well...I'm already hashing 1kS with 5 cards(4xRX480+1 R9 390) heavily undervolted to save power. Power consumption (wall) is only 880W...This is with Claymore and early era of zcash mining...Until limits are reached noone knows how much this hardware can push. As I see these are MXM cards in custom PCB. It's not pure hardware dedicated ASIC. If you have $3300 consider building NV 1070 RIG. 7 Cards cost ~$3k + $300 for mbd, mem, cpu and additionally some decent PSU...total should not exceed $3500 and you can for sure hash with more than  1kS(+50% or even more) with this piece of hardware.

This is about 0.88W/H. It is quite efficient.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: November 09, 2016, 07:35:30 AM
Bitcoin itself is pretty strong and secure. Bitcoin exchanges, however, are where it becomes risky.

Definitely, If we are talking about Exchange than it really risky way, because since last few years many time exchange has been hacked, and recently BITFINEX give us the poof that exchange is not safe, these are not safe-sound way for bitcoin and also for us.
But if we are talking about Bitcoin, than definitely bitcoin is safe, because bitcoin has been spend too many years and still it is going well and up.

The bitcoin price has risen in the last few hours together with the Japanese Yen. It is regarded as safe haven.
617  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed Considers Buying Stocks on: November 04, 2016, 08:03:23 AM
Considers buying stocks?  You realize even in their unaudited published numbers they claim to have purchased more than 4 trillion in equities...

https://www.federalreserve.gov/monetarypolicy/bsd-federal-reserve-banks-financial-information-201608.htm

Many believe the real number is >20 trillion dollars...

That's actually really interesting, I didn't know that information was available.

I would be interested to know your (OGNasty) or anyone elses opinion on the Fed buying stock.
Is this a necessary diversification of investments, a desperate attempt at stabilization, or something else?

Maximising returns (through diversification) is not an objective of the Fed.
They would be looking at maintaining a stable environment, conducive for growth.

That is right. The Fed just want to keep the balance in the system and people still have confidence in dollar.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed Considers Buying Stocks on: October 16, 2016, 06:15:04 PM
What they will do, if they loose ? Buying stocks not always give profit. They will buy a lot and then loose all investment ...  Grin Just imagine how angry will be Obama in Whitehouse, when receive news, that Fed loose some hundreds millions yesterday.  Cheesy

Buying stock is a good idea when the PE ratio is low. But it is very high at the monent. It is better not to buy.
619  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed Considers Buying Stocks on: September 30, 2016, 06:40:59 PM
Since Janet Yellen has confirmed that buying stocks is on the table for the Federal Reserve, what can we say, if not remain speechless?

Let's see, I guess the simple explanation is that the elites have become increasingly naked and desperate in their attempts to support what remains of the global asset bubble, to hold on to the last hopes of keeping their power and privilege.

However, I have considered the possibility that holding on that privilege is not strong enough a motivation for the sheer audacity and desperation of these acts: if the global asset bubble results in a true hard landing, even if that is ultimately a not-so-bad outcome for the world among all the possibilities at this juncture, it may be very bad indeed for the financial elite.

MUST maintain stability...  MUST maintain stability.
Jeez, I knew it was bad but I didn't know that is was THIS bad. The fed saying that they might want to start buying stocks is a sign of massive economic regression, and for anyone reading this that doesn't know all of this yet, it basically means that the institution that prints all of the money for the American economy is considering buying stocks, meaning that money can literally be printed into the stock market now.

A real shit show. Great.

If the Fed does buy the stock, that is the end of the US economy as a free market. that will be similar to Soviet Union.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: September 14, 2016, 08:01:07 AM
Bitcoin is really strong and if we can knoe how many people using bitcoin as the moment we can surely half of the world are using bitcoin right now to use it as currency maybe we should create something special to know where country are the mose who using bitcoin so that we can all know right..

There are not many people in the world using the bitcoin. If the number of users increased to 1 mllion, the price will be much higher.
