141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: December 17, 2017, 03:28:55 AM
Probably already addressed many times in this multi page thread, but the benchmarking takes too little time for some algos especially for multiple cards.   Sadly, sometimes these CCMINER versions take 5 or more minutes for all the cards in a rig to get going and the benchmarking shuts off way before the true hashrate can be discovered.      I use this software a bunch and really like it.   Something I've been meaning to come back and ask about.

You can set the interval value inside the bat file you're using, by default its 120 (seconds), you can make it 5 by putting 5min x 60sec = 300.

Isn't this value only for checking profitability from api?

Hi mate, i also started to use your progs, and think you did a good job.
Atm i have only 1 question and 1 problem.

I mine with 2x GTX1070 on 1 system and 1 on another pc, i have set with MSI afterburner the powerlimit to -30%. When it starts with mining a algo it goes well, but after switching to another algo most of the time my powerlimit does not work and it goes to 100% power usage, then need to set it back to -30% manualy.

Is there a way to set this up properly so it would stay at that powerlimit?

Which drivers are the most stable and give more hash at the moment, i am using the 378.92 drivers.

For everyone who might have this issue, i work on the computer while mining. and when the algos use their max hashrate my computer freesez the screen, so i manualy changed the -i values in the miners map for ccminerAlexis78.ps1 for example:
    "hsr" = " -i 18,20 -d $SelGPUCC" #Hsr
    #"bitcore" = "" #Bitcore
    "blake2s" = " -i 26,31 -d $SelGPUCC" #Blake2s
    "blakecoin" = " -i 25,31 -d $SelGPUCC" #Blakecoin
    #"vanilla" = "" #BlakeVanilla
    #"cryptonight" = "" #Cryptonight
    "veltor" = " -i 20,23 -d $SelGPUCC" #Veltor
    #"decred" = "" #Decred
    #"equihash" = "" #Equihash
    #"ethash" = "" #Ethash
    #"groestl" = "" #Groestl
    #"hmq1725" = "" #hmq1725
    #"keccak" = " -m 2 -i 22,29" #Keccak

+1
I have similar issue with GTX 1080 Ti, just testing this switching sw, but power limit is readjusting to 100% for me as well.
Would be curious, if it's even possible to set it, to stay the same for different algos.

Is there a reason why the #1 Address from the rich list is selling coins day by day since a few weeks?

When there is a version under Windows, I cannot wait, it's unfair

It's not unfair, install ubuntu on dualboot, and you're ready to go.

What with Hush wallet? Do not working no more.

Read my message https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2008578.msg23533983#msg23533983

How many block confirmations are needed to be transferred to the exchange? I already have 30 confirmations, HUSH has not been credited to the balance. Is it time to write to support?

To enroll in Cryptopia, you need 20 confirmations. The wallet sends the transfer with 1 confirmation.

UPD. Really some problems. There are 63 confirmations in the wallet and Im can not see the coins on the exchange.

I didn't get any payouts from pool for today, but two transactions was already released.
Definitely cryptopia have some problems with wallet.

can I use failover pools somehow?
cheers

Can someone please tell me how to set the rig to mine with specific cards with this miner?
in EWBF the command is "cuda_devices a b c d" but it doesn't work with this one.

Thanks

Is it really that hard to read a readme file?
Guess not...

Thanks (for being a dick)...I read the read me, I missed it before.
Is the dev command working for anyone else on 5.3? I tried it and it keeps crashing.

Lol, I gave you a hint, and you calling me a dick?
Wishing you best luck with your mining experience.

154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to power more than 8 gpus that requires 6+8pin connectors with 2 psu? on: October 29, 2017, 07:04:57 AM
I had two of these psus LEPA 1600W
https://www.kitguru.net/components/power-supplies/zardon/lepa-g1600-ma-eu-1600w-psu-review/

Just connect it thru add2psu and you're fine with GPUs, for the rest you can use molex connectors.

Could you add the option of selecting mining devices?

That option is already implemented, I'm using it like that.
Just read the readme file carefully, it's not that long, you will find it for sure...

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help!!!! I can't for the life of me figure this out on: October 26, 2017, 10:03:25 AM
Ok so here's my issue and i've been working on this now for 2 days. I have an old server an IBM eServer x346 and it has 2 Intel Xeon 3.00 GHz 2MB cache and 800MHz FSB processors in it as well as 16 gigs of ram. I am using BCN as a test to see what kind of performance i can expect out of this (not expecting much) however everytime i begin to mine it attempts to mine for maybe 2 to 5 seconds and then the server restarts itself. Am I missing something or is this machine just not liking what I'm trying to do with it. I've set the config file to mine one 1 processor just so I can get an idea of how this will work. Please any help would be great. The OS installed currently is Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

When I was mining with my Xeons some Cryptonights, I had to add cooler on top of radiators, because temperature rised
very quick. So check your temperatures and try to add some fans on top of that.
It could cause your problems. There is lot of temperate sensors in servers to prevent overheating.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AMD XMR Miner] - A New High Performance Monero Miner For AMD GPU`S on: October 26, 2017, 04:17:17 AM
For the Vega`s you can expect;
- ~1100 H/s stock without HBCC
- ~1750 H/s stock with HBCC
- ~1900 H/s overclocked memory with HBCC
- ~2000 H/s Registry modded, with HBCC. (@ only 160w.)

No tests have been done with the watercooled edition of Vega 64, i would expect these ones to be able to hit a even higher target because aircooled editions are limited due to memory gets overheated.

For 570 and 480 it depends on which memory brand you have, and its size, 4GB / 8GB.
- 550-750 H/s on stock setup with blockchain drivers
- 650 H/s and upwards when overclocked
- 750 H/s and upwards with changes to GPU`s bios.

Hi, can you tell me please that hashrate 2000hs is for Vega 56, or 64?
And those 160W is from gpu-z, or from wall?
Also can I use blockchain drivers with Windows 7 64bit?
cheers

Hello, currently testing your miner without telemetry.
Hope it will reconnect automatically after losing connection from pool.
Will leave it like this for a period of time.
Also would like to ask you, I'm using 384 and 385 drivers.
Is there any recommended driver to improve hashrate?
Can I use 388?
cheers

We have great results with DSTM miner. Our new Zcash pool (https://zpool.guru) found its first 3 blocks with 75% luck. We connected 750 kH/s to it.

Others have good results with DSTM?

Hmm, are you able to run dstm miner on AMD cards?
If so, what is your configuration?
