782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Centra Tech ICO | Multi-Blockchain Worldwide Debit Card & Insured Wallet on: August 29, 2017, 11:27:26 PM
How many tokens sold on pre-ico and how many tokens left? What price was on pre-ico for token?

They stated before that it will be announced in the next few weeks. Wait patiently probably they are auditing all the transactions
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX [ICO] end of June: making Blockchain assets spendable on: August 29, 2017, 11:18:17 PM
No CARDS being issued to US??? Whats up with that i see the worries of legality and ico tokens but SEC still hasnt ruled it out just saying to watch out for pumps and dump type ICO scams...bittrex trades ico tokens and is US based.

Most of them really tends to avoid providing services to the US cos basically they want to avoid legal problems in the future. Its better to reduce the risk/problems to be encountered.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MonacoCoin [MCC] [ POW & POS X11] [MASTERNODE] on: August 29, 2017, 09:20:58 PM
There are lots of better masternodes around, this coin seems to be nothing special really

Yup, considering how hard to mine this altcoin might as well better buy it rather than pursue to mine.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: August 28, 2017, 01:35:00 PM
SONM is still pretty attractive for investors IMO. If the team is busy developing products of course Smiley

IMO, its still way overpriced, i would wait when this hits at the 800 satoshi. Probably they wont even do great as like the GOLEM team had achieved
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: August 28, 2017, 01:29:28 PM
I am a Korean investor.
I think Komodo teams do not care too much about marketing.
Komodo teams have to do more aggressive marketing.

What is there to market when it is still being developed, its a bad decision to market something when they can't specify any specific dates when the developments are coming out. It would only look that they are releasing a hype news.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: August 28, 2017, 11:30:53 AM
I like Lisk very much because it has given me profit always, only thing I don't like is the complications regarding the core wallet and forging, I also

Don't like 1Lisk fee for voting, I mean why would I spend money to vote? I'm not forging, no one is compensating me if I vote, it's just something that

Turns me off when I open the wallet.

Thats why there are delegates doing a vote buying, voters gets to be rewarded when the delegates get some of their reward. haven't you noticed the tons of posts by delegates in this thread?
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: August 27, 2017, 11:33:14 PM
I am with Lisk since the IPO and proud never sold one coin. Only weak hands sell too early, mainly during corrections...

ps. have to start again with a new bitcointalk account since I cannot access my old one. It tells it was hacked  Huh

Well if you have posted a btc address in the forum that you can sign a message then you can recover it by contacting Cyrus a staff member.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PROC]---ProCurrency---| COIN BACK REWARDS |Wallets Released~~~ on: August 27, 2017, 10:46:03 PM
I wonder how will this project keep up when OMG will expand to other countries and airtoken will arrive. While Pro is still busy doing minor developments while bigger companies is on the verge to integrate their tokens to their infrastructure thus their customers, retailers, shops, and partners can use it.

time is of the essence and Procurrency is a snail in the competition.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: August 27, 2017, 09:56:32 PM
pump is over....shit...

Cheesy is it? I bought on that dip. I see 10$ before the AMA.

Don't get fooled by quick pump, you'll just be a food for the whales. I really don't think a Q and A would just pump it.

793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: August 27, 2017, 12:34:53 PM
Ok I am really wondering how high this ride will take us? Any guesses here? Are we going to hit 10 dollars for now?

Probably we can hit $10 followed by a flash crash, I don't see any development that Lisk can hold at the current price especially when bitcoin price is starting to go up again.

Ok so you think it is just some whales pushing the price insanely right now? They might even pull the trigger and let it crash before 10 dollars as many people might expect to cross that line and define that as a sell off point or so.

Yes, Its just my opinion though unless an AMA is really a big deal to explain such an enormous price growth. Im not a daytrader i just hold a small stack that im comfortable in losing with.

You no longer need to create a new thread if you have 1 currently running and active. You need to read the rules to avoid getting banned.

798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING: PAYPAL STARTED MASSIVE ACCOUNT BAN ON ANYTHING BITCOIN RELATED on: February 05, 2014, 08:45:30 AM
I love that argument... "They have lawyers so they can't break the law."

I said nothing of the sort.  I said that PayPal has emerged victorious in virtually every lawsuit filed against it.  Whether or not we like that, it means that their user agreements are legally sound.  I'm no fan of PayPal, but I am a fan of not wasting time and energy filing lawsuits that have no legal merit.

Bitcoin was created precisely to solve these problems.  If we are all such believers in Bitcoin that we are actively participating in a Bitcoin forum, perhaps we should actually use them for commerce instead of trying to argue with an old-economy company that will trounce us in court.  The more people that accept Bitcoin for payment, the better it is for Bitcoin and the faster PayPal will crumble.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING: PAYPAL STARTED MASSIVE ACCOUNT BAN ON ANYTHING BITCOIN RELATED on: February 05, 2014, 07:43:26 AM
This user agreement is not legally binding in all states! An illegal agreement is unenforceable regardless of it's content. PayPal can't violate a State law just because somebody else agreed to it.

I'm guessing that PayPal, and their phalanx of some of the brightest legal minds on planet earth, disagree with you.  They are served with lawsuits over this very issue every single day, and essentially never lose.   Based upon this, I'm guessing that they this document is legally sound.

Here's an idea...since this is a Bitcoin forum and all...let's actually USE BITCOIN.

There is someone else around here suing paypal for similar reasons. see if you can get in touch with them.

you cant sue paypal, you will get buried before getting to court.

No, you definetely have been victimised based on some dumb woman's incapacity rather than due to your breach of any plociy let alone law. PayPal were even thinking of adopting bitcoin as a means of payment. It didn't eventuate, but its CEO is a supporter of the idea, as is ebay who run Paypal anyway.

This is evidently due to her not understanding her own company's policy and I would advise reporting her to the relevant branch of PayPal. It is looking like a class action may need to be taken against either this woman or even PayPal itself if they refuse to retract over this matter if this startts happening to all bitcoiners.

Stick to your guns over this one, as the error lies with her not you. (Hope she loses her job over it.)

From the PayPal User Agreement:

"Payments received in your Account may be reversed at a later time, for example, if such a payment is subject to a Chargeback, Reversal, Claim or is otherwise invalidated. This means that for some of our Sellers, payments received into their Account may be returned to the sender or otherwise removed from their Account after they have been paid and/or delivered any goods or services sold....

We may close, suspend, or limit your access to your Account or the PayPal Services, and/or limit access to your Balance for up to 180 Days (or longer if pursuant to a court order or other legal process) if you violate this Agreement, the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy, any other agreement you enter into with PayPal, or as otherwise specified in this Agreement or other agreement you have entered into with PayPal. We may also use proprietary fraud and risk modeling when assessing the risk associated with your Account..."

and my favorite part...

"....you acknowledge that PayPal’s decision to take certain actions, including limiting access to your Account by placing holds or imposing Reserves, may be based on confidential criteria that are essential to our management of risk and the security of Users’ Accounts and the PayPal system. You agree that PayPal is under no obligation to disclose the details of its risk management or security procedures to you."
